I haven't had funny plus in a while and the last time I had it was a long time ago. This is definitely much better when you eat it at the restaurant instead of ordering to go. It's one of the few places in the area that's opened late so you'll see lots of people come in through the night. The bbq is quite good. The pork belly was delicious. The cheese corn was also very good and a nice appetizer to start the meal. The fried chicken was interesting. It's a mix of legs, thighs, breasts, etc. I would've liked a wings only option cause the chicken pieces were quite large. Overall, it's a nice place to dine. Very chill ambiance. Nice music being played.

There is nothing wrong with Funny Plus, it has good food, the service was great, and it has a unique ascetic. But when matched up against other Korean BBQ places it falls short in both selection and affordability. They do not have an all you can eat option so everything is a la cart. They do give you a good amount of food but even after just a couple of dishes it can get a little expensive.

Pretty ordinary Korean pub vibe. We got army stews and corn cheese. They don't offer fried rice service like Korea so we ordered requested rice and kim-garu to make our own fried rice. Okay service.

Ordered army soup and fish cake soup. Both tasted decent but felt overpriced for their portion size. Service was quick. A good spot for friends gathering as it gave a pub vibe with korean music in the background

Seriously, what's the hype about? This is actually the worst service I've received in a long time and the food was not good. We got the Korean fried chicken and the beef soup. The beef soup didn't have any noodles which is bizarre for soup...the menu doesn't specify that there are no noodles in the soup. Beyond that, the soup was horrible. It tasted like they put a bunch of veggies and beef in water and did nothing else. When I let the waiter know, she advised I add salt. It was beyond what salt could fix and I don't think I should risk high blood pressure to make my meal edible. The service was extremely slow and at one point while I'm waiting for another visit from the waiter, I see her eating a full hot pot dinner with the only other server. Normally I don't care about servers eating on the job but that's activity for when your whole dining room is running smoothly. I would not recommend nor return. TikTok LIED!

This pocha is a long standing establishment in Aurora, right next to the hmart. It's a good place to relax after a long day. They play a lot of K-pop and will have some games on the tv (football, soccer, basketball). The bar doesn't have many options but they have the solid common offerings. The bathroom used to be very sketchy but they recently remodeled it to be cleaner and nicer. The restaurant can get quite busy and there's not that many servers. They do have call buttons so be patient. But order as much as you think you need at the beginning and you'll be set. I think the service is decent under these conditions. The fried chicken is great. It's half sweet half spicy and covered in the sauce. The skin remains very crispy. The meat is very juicy. We also got the army stew, it's nothing out of this world but it's quite filling. There's also a tofu, stir fried kimchi, and pork belly dish that's great. It's not filling but it tastes pretty dang good. The bon chin (little side dishes of food) is very simple. Bean sprouts, picketed onions, daikon, and kimchi. It's good though. The bowls of rice here cost extra just fyi.

Decent food, but the budaejigae soup is nothing to write home about. It wasn't spicy at all like in Korea and it didn't really have a strong stew taste, but was more like a cup of shinramen (but less spicy). The toppings inside weren't bad, I liked the ham and hot dogs inside and ramen. Portion was not bad for sharing. Still, I've had better and expect better for this year. I wouldn't go back again. Not worth going out of your way for.

Ridiculously hilarious name, but the food is awesome! Didn't do the BBQ but ordered off the menu. Everything we ardered was great, and the fried chicken was killer! Got the kimchi pancake...delicious! The fried chicken with scallions was so good, too!
