I really loved this place. They were incredibly fast about ordering and preparing the food. We were pretty hungry when we went so we got the onigiri meal combos and it was so worth it. The onigiris were surprisingly large and full of filling. The miso soup and pickles were also pretty good. We thought this was a great serving size. The price is in the lower end and coming here is definitely well worth the cost.

Hubby really enjoyed our meals here after a day of sightseeing. This is a family-run restaurant with friendly staff and food made by family from scratch in the kitchen. We loved the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Everything was seasoned well and delivered fresh and piping hot to our table. If we were locals, Fugi would quickly become one of our favorite go-to restaurants!

Eager for a clean and fresh tasting meal? Look no further than Fuji Cafe and Bar. It's a Japanese Nepalese restaurant and I was really searching for the momos. But instead of just momos we also tried the himalayan curry. Found near Pearl Street, it's a perfect off the busy street restaurant that serves delicious homestyle foods. From what we've gotten, it was very mild, tasted very clean and healthy. The momos were served with what seemed to be a tomato based sauce on the side. They were stuffed with a dense ground pork patty. It was delicious! You can get them either fried or steamed, we got them steamed. The curry itself was also really good. Mild tomato based. Came with a side of rice. Wish it was bigger so that I could enjoy more of it! I'd definitely try it again next time in Boulder.

My first experience eating Onigiri and Momo. Food was excellent! Self-serve water but wait staff came by to take orders and deliver food. It was evening and temps were very high. No air stirring inside; afternoon sun was not helping matters. Extremely hot!

Decent but not great. Onigiri was very rice forward with limited meat inside. Poke Don was middle tier in terms of quality. Tuna was a little hard and lacking flavor. Poke bowl is way better at a poke restaurant as there were very limited toppings. Poke bowl consisted of salmon, avocado, rice, furikake and a sauce, that's it. If you're going to make a poke bowl, add more to it. Won't be back.

Checked this place out a few nights ago and was very confused (and disappointed) by the whole thing. They have wayyyy too much going on - Japanese items, poke, random curries, noodles, chicken tenders and fries???? We got the onigiri special set (I LOVE ONIGIRI) but none of them were very good, and the meats in them seemed kinda funky. The tofu was like a fake agedashi tofu, and was served very cold and was really not pleasant. The best part about the whole thing was the miso soup which, admittedly, was quite good. I don't know if we just got the wrong items and maybe the other dishes are really good, but was not a fan :(

I love the story. Fuji Cafe is Japanese and Nepalese influenced. A true mom and pop, family run business. Momma bear was in the kitchen and baby bar served. I ordered a matcha latte which was the best I have ever had. Full disclaimer this was only my second one. I ordered the vegetable stew. I thought it was delicious but after looking at other dishes at adjacent tables, I should have ordered differently. I sat at the bar and enjoyed my conversation with Sherpa. Super nice kid with a bright future

Getting to the restaurant is relatively easy, but finding parking is always the hardest part as it's located near Pearl Street! It's a really cute and small establishment with lots of Japanese and Nepalese cultural decorations all around. The booths were really comfy and for a rainy day, it wasn't terribly busy at all! They offer a variety of Japanese foods as well as Himalayan dishes, and I opted for the vegetable samosa and three piece onigiri set. I think that this place has really great prices for what they serve you! The onigiri set came in at 12.99 and it comes with a bowl of miso soup and some pickled vegetables that were both super delicious. The miso soup was warm and they didn't skimp out on any seaweed and tofu which I appreciated. While there wasn't a lot of the pickled veggies it still made for a very refreshing bite in between consuming the onigiri. I ordered the tuna mayo, unagi (which costs a dollar extra), and salmon (it's smoked which I love)! They were prettyyyyy big and filled with a decent amount of filling for what you pay for. I also really loved how they used purple rice instead of your traditional white rice, however, my only wish is for the rice to be seasoned as a normal onigiri would be because it was kind of bland and I did have to dip it in soy sauce and sriracha to flavor it. But the filling itself was very yummy- just wish that the rice was yummy too! As for the samosa it was super flaky and the potato pea filling was soooo well-seasoned that you didn't need the sauce! But the sauce was sweet and a perfect balance for the samosa though, so I kinda recommend that you do dip it. Service-wise, everything was great- nothing bad at all. I like how you have the option to pay for your meal before you get your food, so that you can just chill when it comes out. The staff were really nice when I asked for some foil to get my last onigiri to go and I'm honestly looking forward to coming back so that I can try their other items!

I really enjoyed dining here. It's a great space with small intimate settings. I would recommend small groups. The service was friendly and quick. I ordered the 3 origini platter, it came with soup, an appetizer, and some pickled veggies. I really enjoyed the origini - tuna and beef are my favorite. I'd definitely come back!
