The absolute worst dining experience that I've endured in quite some time.It took 30 minutes to get drinks and they came out like they traveled to us via Noah's Ark... two by two... 30 minutes apart.So, I shouldn't have been surprised that this was the same case for the appetizers.And, when we flagged the waitress down to order entrees after being seated for an hour, we were informed that one of their popular dishes was not only the menu when we asked for it.And, since this was supposed to be my Mother's Day meal, not only am I disappointed, I am kinda angry.DO NOT COME HERE. Save your time and energy.

I'll start with the pros - the vibe and ambience is A+. The hookah is a nice plus and adds to the ambience. I went on a Friday night with a few friends. For some reason they have the TV playing Fox News which is bizarre for an establishment that caters to a majority black clientele...black folks aren't MAGATs...so maybe change that?Food - I'll just be direct with it - the food wasn't great. The menu is basic...the best thing I had on the menu was honestly the chicken tenders. The food just isn't great - the calamari was weird tasting, the sliders have too much meat, we asked for their ice cream sundae that had macaroons in it, and I promise you, I'm not lying, the macaroons tasted like Indian curry .The music is dope and it's a great atmosphere but man the food is and the menu is basic. We gotta do better y'all.

Great vibe and atmosphere however the front door guy pestered me to take my hat off. The food is very mediocre. They also didn't have the channels to broadcast the nba playoffs

I would not recommend this place. Service was great- staff was very attentive. Food was very mediocre for upscale pricing- portions are also small. This establishment is FILLED with gnats. I hope they can get rid of this problem ASAP. I ordered the Lucid Dream cocktail- they place a piece of cotton candy on top but since it too sweet for me, I placed the cotton candy on a plate. Immediately, there were about 2-3 gnats that flew into the cotton candy. Halfway into drinking my cocktail, a HUGE gnat flew INTO my drink!! I am cringing just thinking about this experience. I am so very disappointed in this "upscale" establishment - especially since it is highly advertised all over social media.

We had good service. The food tasted good. The menu is pretty limited but everything I had tasted good.

I had dinner at FRNDS recently to celebrate my friend's birthday. I didn't realize it was more of a lounge than a restaurant so the menu is a little limited but the food options that are available were SO GOOD!My friend ordered the buttermilk biscuits and I opted for the truffle fries. Low and behold, it's plenty of food so we ended up doing family style because there is no way I could've finished all those fries. The biscuits were perfectly flakey and melt in your mouth. The truffle fries were amazing and I couldn't stop eating them when the server came to grab the plate, I grabbed the last 3 fries. That's how good they were!For diner I had the brick lemon chicken that's topped with butter, and comes with broccolini and fingerling potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and I couldn't have asked for a better entree. My friend had the Salmon skewers and Brussels a la Carte. The drinks were also good! I had the "rich Auntie" and my friend ordered the famous "frnds with benefits" which I believe is their signature cocktail. It's deliciously tropical with a stencil of the longed logo floating. It's such a pretty drink!The service was amazing and we stayed two hours after our dinner catching up and enjoying hookah. Yes they offer hookah! And it's strong with multiple flavors to choose from. The lounge is located in rice village and there is plenty of parking nearby if you can't get a spot right out front. The ambiance was dim with small lights at each table making it the perfect scene for a date night or a girls night!The music was great and on this particular night there was a live DJ. We found ourselves singing to the songs and enjoying our night. I will definitely be back because the location is convenient and the food and service were top notch!

I had a reservation for 6:15 PM... it's currently 8:39 PM and all we've had are drinks. Incredibly disappointing experience at FRNDS.The ambience of the restaurant is gorgeous. This place has so much potential but the customer service issues are abysmal. Sadly, we ended up walking out. By 9pm no food had arrived to our table. We ordered at 7:00 PM an hour into dinner service and they had already ran out of the brick chicken, they also didn't have one of their most popular cocktails. I'm not sure how you don't prepare enough entrees to serve knowing you have a dinner rush coming in. We rolled with it and just ordered appetizers. By 9pm the dumplings arrived to our table. I was appalled that only 4 tiny friend dumplings took almost three hours to deliver. We went to the host to try and pay for our drinks and leave. We had another event to attend and there's no reason a dinner service should take almost 3 hours. I am giving this place two stars because the drinks we did have were delicious and the manager did personally apologize and try to make it right with us which we appreciated. My advice is to come for the drinks but go somewhere else to eat.

My friend and I tried this restaurant out as this was on our list of places to try. We had reservations for two and I arrived five minutes before our scheduled time. Upon checking in for our reservation, the hostess told me there was no available seating, only bar seating as there was a party later on that night (three hours later) and they were going to clear tables from one side of the restaurant (the other side still had open booths). However, two ladies arrived after us and were seated in a booth. That alone had me set on rating this place one star; however, the male bartender and the food redeemed them.The food was delicious.my friend and I opted for shareables, raw oysters, green beans tempura, calamari and salmon bites. Everything was really good but the highlight of the meal was the salmon and pina colada. The salmon was so tender and flavorful and the pina colada was amazing. Parking can be hectic during busy hours in the area as I did not see any valet options (we came Saturday around 5) and the restaurant is in a shopping strip. Overall, I would return. Even if I have to sit at the bar again because the food and drinks were that good!

My hubby and I came into town and were looking for some good food and good drinks. We searched up Yelp and boom, found FRNDS. It was just our vibe, romantic with some good jams and beautiful people. We did have to wait a bit for a server but they were definitely busy (it was Saturday night at 8pm). Our waitress, Ambria was polite, pretty and professional! She checked on us several times and made sure everything was going good even though we weren't in her actual section. I highly recommend FRNDS if you want good food and positive vibes!!

Vibe- This is a very cute spot and I can tell people come here to enjoy their social hour (4-7pm). The only thing I wish I saw more of was vegetarian/vegan options.Customer service- Good! Food/drinks- I came specifically for the social hour and enjoyed a lemon drop and the Parmesan potato croquettes. Parking- There are a few spots near the restaurant but depending on when you go it might be easier to park in one of the garages and walk over.
