This place doesn't look like much, but it's my favorite place for a $10 meal that I can usually split between two meals. I usually go to #2 (couldn't find them on Yelp but it'll pop up on the maps) just because it's less busy and so I get more of the selections I want. You do have to drive around for street parking depending on the time of day. Favorite items: - steak - fried cheese - chicharron (priced by weight) - pollo a la plancha Do note that it'll be hard to order if you don't speak Spanish.

Looove la leonesa when I'm craving fritanga, which is pretty much always. It's come to be my go-to because of the delicious quality and affordable prices.Standard system where you order at the counter and are given scoops of premade food, including classics like pinto, maduros, queso frito, etc. Even as a vegeterian there are plenty of options for me and I always leave stuffed.The food almost always tastes fresh despite sitting in warmers. If it isn't super fresh, they'll heat it up for you. Portion sizes are generous and the line moves quickly. The main selling point here for me is the queso frito, which is the best I've had in Miami. Moist and not at all rubbery, which can be pretty common for this food.Just come eat here. You will get to eat so much tasty food at a super reasonable price.

IMO one of the best fritangas I've had, the food here is consistently good. My usual go-to is the carne asada, gallo pinto, sweet plantains, and of course the fried cheese which is better than any other place I've been to hands down.One word of warning for anyone looking for a sit down meal, this place is really meant for take out, so keep that in mind when coming here.

Delicious and fresh fritanga, I tried the salpicón and I bought some chorizo and fresh cheese, everything was yummy. Parking is in the back, kind of a pain in the ass but worth it.

The food here is definitely above average with a plentiful portion. You can't go wrong with anything they have to offer . Another great thing is parking located right behind the establishment. Stop by , you won't be disappointed.

It was great! Neighborhood wasn't the best but that's how I knew it would be amazing! The world greatest food can be found in the sketchiest neighborhoods. Definitely recommend. I got the arroz pinto con carne asada.

I came in about an hour before closing on Friday 8/23/24. The place has was busy. But sadly, the food was below par. Quality and taste was lacking. Had 2 bites and tossed the rest.

As a Nicaraguan who has ventured into various locations looking for a good carne asada meal, this one was disappointing. Apart from the tight space and not so great location, the price at this place does not reflect at all the quality and quantity. The carne asada could've been juicer and softer. The gallo-pinto was mid--I couldn't figure out if it was cooked too long or undercooked. The tajadas felt stale and old. The queso frito was okay. Finally, the only thing that felt more redeeming was the ensalada, but you have to try really hard to mess that up.Finally, the service felt a little rushed which causes miscommunication and some of the employees seemed a little frustrated. I don't know if that's how the business usually or it's just one of those days (which is understandable). I didn't try any other food so I can only speak for the meal I had.
