Is this a gallery, cafe or community center? Seems to be all three. The staff welcomes you warmly (I even got a compliment on my name!) and pays attention to you. I was drawn to the chicken pot pie, which was so original that it came with the pie floating on the innards. It was tasty and filling on a winter's day. Had the lemonade at the recommendation of my dining partner -- also home made and refreshing. The room has a nice vibe with hugging and greeting galore as neighbors recognize each other.

Frieda is a stunning place to get brunch with friends! I love the mission behind the organization and the artwork and decor was beautiful as well. The service was attentive and welcoming. The brunch food was delicious! Everything we ordered was amazing but my favorites were the mushroom bread pudding, apple french toast and avocado toast. The ingredients were fresh and light.

When I have friends in town or family visiting, FRIEDA is my go-to for weekend brunch. Some of the food is literally life-changing. For me, the almond croissant and brioche French toast are must-try's for any Philly local or native. This time, we got the quiche Lorraine, American omelet, and baker's basket. The quiche was flaky and not too thick while the American omelette was light and fluffy. The baker's basket is a must-get for me every time I go to FRIEDA. The bread is just so unique and QQ and the almond croissant is to die for. The side salad and sencha tea were both light and fresh tasting. The service is always friendly and kind. I was allowed to be seated almost 25 minutes before the rest of my party joined. (But it wasn't too busy.) However, note should be taken reservations must be made for groups ~6 (and there is gratuity applied). The interior of FRIEDA is always changing with rotating art installations on the walls and rotating shelves at the front selling products ranging from either their own tea or offerings from local artists. There is outdoor seating, as well. Dining at FRIEDA is very aesthetic. Overall, FRIEDA is the epitome of a classy city brunch and I highly recommend dining there to everyone!

Did I slide past Frieda on the way to meet friends to grab one of those chai lattes they make so well? I sure did.Did I double back later on and grab a brisket sandwich to go?I sure did. Did they pack my sandwich so neat, that I didn't spill a single drop while walking and eating? They sure did. Will I be back sooner than later to vibe out with another latte?I sure will. :-)

The interior is glowing white - separated into different sections. The food area is the larger section where they don't allow laptops. Incredible service, like it was amazing - I'm v impressed. Small water glasses that require frequent service.Almost croissant was p good. White egg omelet was decent - I'll try something else next time!

This is a neighborhood spot which I have been to for weekend brunch. Usually ok, but went yesterday and had the French omelette which was as flat as a crepe and devoid of anything that would classify it as an omelette. Overpriced for what it was.

My boyfriend and I were visiting Philly for a quick weekend trip and enjoyed the most delicious breakfast here. To start our server Sabrina made us feel right at home and gave us a few recommendations. We both had lattes, foamy and warm as they hit your mouth. We also shared the mushroom toast which was out of this world, the poached eggs, the bread pudding and the gorgeous sauce. I'll dream about that toast for a while. Our chocolate almond croissant was pure bliss, the fruit was fresh and ripe and the potatoes were crispy and moist as you bit into them. Not to the mention they sell the most beautiful art, and make their own jam and granola. You bet your bottom dollar we bought some strawberry jam, a granola bar and the Elixr coffee. Thank you for an incredible experience! We will be back and if you're visiting Philly or if you live there and you've never gone to Frieda's, go now!
