Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

It was my first time trying Freddy's. My family would always take their kids here so I joined them for dinner. We dined in and the indoor seating had spacious booths and cool burger joint vibe. The staff were friendly. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with fries & cheese on the side. I got the chicken tenders kid meal for my daughter. My sandwich was not that great and the patty was pretty thin. Their fries are shoestring which I am not a fan of but I tried my cousin's onion rings which were good. My daughter could only eat one bite of the chicken tender but I thought it was decent. She enjoyed the mini dirt n' worms (Oreo cookie & gummy worms). The gummy worms were too hard to even bite but the custard was good. The restrooms were pretty clean. Overall, I didn't enjoy the food enough to come back again.

Are you ready, Freddy?They sell some excellent custard way up where fresh dairy is available in Wisconsin and Minnesota and Michigan and even Ohio and parts of New York State, but around here not so much.There's so little custard around town that I have to give 4 stars to this place just for serving it. But having said that they could do a much better job, and the food is definitely not a reason to come here.

I really really really wanted to like this place. With such a nostalgic sounding name and menu, surely this place would be good right??Well, it was okay. I got the single steak burger which came with buns, a beef patty and two pickles. This super simple burger was good in flavor, but lacking in quantity in my opinion. The beef patty was SUPER thin (see picture) and not worth the price.My husband and I shared a Mini Turtle Signature, which is a vanilla soft serve with caramel and chocolate. It was super sweet, as expected, and delicious! I'm glad we shared a mini one or we both would've been in sugar comas the rest of the day.Whenever you're craving a burger, go to Burger King but if you're craving an ice cream, Freddy's is a great choice!

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is a gem! The store is impeccably clean, which always adds to the dining experience. What really stood out, though, was the workers' positive attitudes. Their friendly demeanor made my day brighter. It's refreshing to see a team so dedicated to providing excellent service. Plus, the custard and steakburgers were delicious, making the entire visit memorable. Highly recommend!

Freddy's is a similar dining experience to Culver's if you've ever had the pleasure of dining there. They're known for their steak burgers and custard which are both out-of-this world good. They have shoestring fries (orders come with a huge serving of them) and this amazing jalapeño Freddy's sauce for dipping. Definitely recommend the cheese curds! It's one of my favorite snacks.I've yet to have bad service during the many times I've been to different Freddy's over the years. The people are very friendly. They do get quite busy and step away from the front register, so there have been a time or two I've had to flag someone down to come take my order. But once they notice I'm there, they're quick to come over and assist. The ambiance is an old diner type with historical pictures and facts about how "Freddy's" came to be. Try this place out as an alternative to your typical fast food, you won't regret it!

I tried to review from DoorDash but I'm not sure it went through. I ordered 4 burger meals and one turtle concrete. $70.00 on door dash. That includes an 8.50 tip I asked for no mustard on my burger yet it was there. There were no sauces that we asked for. No ketchup or fry sauce. And my turtle concrete was missing. The fries were cold. It's frustrating to pay that amount for a wrong order. I know mistakes happen but it's every single time. So My suggestion is to pick it up yourself so You can check your order first otherwise there will be mistakes every time. I won't order again. I'm done.

Still a good place to eat, enjoy and relax. The service was good as well. The only thing I do not like is the sauce not being the pump canisters. I know it's not their fault but hopefully they will bring it back.

They just can't get it together!I ordered 3 ready made oreo cookie sandwiches and one large fries.There was no one in front of me and at least 4 workers I could see through the window so didn't seem short-staffed. I waited 15 minutes!!!It's 100 degrees and she gives me the ice cream first and we're waiting.... waiting...waiting.... finally got it.The cars in back of me were probably cursing me thinking this is a huge complicated order.I was so anxious because I had somewhere to be.I told the girl that she should not have given me the ice cream first but she gave me a "deer in the headlights" look probably because she didn't expect it to take that long either. They all looked young. Maybe another training is in order. Based on this & my previous experiences, I'm never going back! Disappointed again ;(

Best burger EVER! When our family moved close by we put off trying this place out due to the reviews, however, after trying it, it has quickly become our absolute favorite spot. The place is clean, staff are friendly and food is delicious. We love Freddy's!

Very expensive for a very average hot dog. Been there a few times to make sure, and the hot dogs and chili dogs are over priced. Semi stale buns, and minimum tasteless chili. Their help is inattentive and the restaurant needs cleaning. I thank whoever Freddy is for his army service and price cuts for veterans, however I too am a veteran and have had better food in a mess hall and better hot dogs in commissaries in three countries. Now I will always pass them by for the BBQ next door.
