Your typical neighborhood sandwich shop. I definitely wouldn't call Freddy's a deli.Sandwich's are good and this spot is a lunch hot spot for locals.Service is ok. I really can't say anything negative about FDG so I've rated it 4 Stars.Yelpers let me know what you think or experience. So let it be written... So let it be EATEN.

Bringing them up two stars. Great burger and fries for sure. They've dropped the extra $1 beef charge from the receipts which was a dollar more than the menu price. Their prices have gone up as has everyone else's prices !! Let's Go Brandon - Let's Make America Broke Again !! Back to Freddy's. The owner, Freddy (imagine that), was surprised and happy to see my Houston Safety Team and I as it's been a while. We used to have an office next door and we ate here frequently. But since we relocated, about a year ago, we haven't been back. The dining area is clean, and tight, and it does get crowded.

A co-worker suggested this place, so I went to check it out for lunch. It's a quaint spot in a small business park and I got there about 30 minutes before they were closing (they close @ 2:30PM), but the ladies behind the counter were very gracious. There was no one else in the place and it looked as if they had just cleaned tables and mopped the floors. I ordered a 1/4 lb. burger with cheese basket with onion rings and a fountain drink. It took just about 10 minutes before my food came out and I was able to get it down in under 20 minutes. The burger was average size, but the two things that stood out to me were the freshness of the onions and lettuce and the huge, fresh, fluffy bun. The onion rings were pretty good and I wish that there were a few more rings in the basket. I also ordered a brownie and, although tasty, it could have been larger for the price. It had also been in the refrigerator, which made it cold.If you want a quick bite for lunch, that is fresh and filling, this spot should do. I can see another visit in the future.

Giving 5 stars as Freddy's always delivers on my expectations. Small mom and pop shop. Quite literally, it's only him and one other lady there every day (not sure if they're married but you get the point). Super friendly owner and he always remembers my order from the last time. I only come maybe once or twice a month if I forgot my lunch or just didn't bring one from home.Food is always cooked fresh and tasty. I've never been disappointed. Freddy has gotten my order correct 100% of the time over the last 3 years.

Small mom n pop restaurant in an industrial area. Philly cheese steak and salads are good. Very busy at lunch time and it moves kinda slow. Food is tasty.

Freddy's is an okay little neighbor spot. It's one or two blocks away from my job so I've gotten lunch from there a few times Most things are made to order so it takes some time for your food to be prepared. I typically get the spicy Philly cheesesteak and it's pretty good. The sandwich is really big, one half could easily fill you up. The stake is seasoned well and the sandwich is just cheesy enough. The bread gets soggy very quickly so it's best to eat it as soon as you get it. It's greaser that I'd prefer, but I do think that makes it better. It's an okay place to go for lunch everyone in a while

The Plot: Mom and Pop place. Slightly above average industrial worker lunches and breakfasts are served. Many folks seem to know one another. But, one is missing, and a stranger shows up. Hmmm.Hey, this place is not a Nightmare on Rankin Street!Freddy is not Krueger, but this Freddy seems to have slashed the prices on some goods that are severed, ... errr, I meant "served".Menu has traditional hot and cold sandwiches, and nothing unusual ...Heart-healthy: several salads around $4.50; small tossed salad for $2Heart-unhealthy: Gyros, burgers, Reuben, Muffaletta, and cold sandwichesStranger's order: $7 for Philly Steak n Cheese Poboy with fries and a drinkAutopsy: Taste was OK. Meat was dry and thinner-cut than a traditional Philly. It did not have many grilled onions and peppers. Poboy bread was smaller diameter, and was soft, untoasted. Fries were OK and plentiful. Overall, the basket was overpriced and not as tasty as it should have been. I probably would have been happier with the special of the day or a burger (something they have to get right, and apparently do).Summary: In the back roads, but convenient to the industrialists like Smith International and Baker Hughes, is a strip-mall deli with a very nice elderly couple serving decent food at decent prices, in general. No fancy décor, but it's not dilapidated, either. In many ways, it reminded me of Burger World, a couple of miles away.
