Affordable and delicious A slice and two drinks came out to $9 Got a slice of supreme, nice fresh toppings, crust was baked nicely. The place is small and the line went out the door when I visited but they move fast and efficient, tip know what you want before you get to the order counter cause they move fast but they are a friendly bunch.

Pros:-Good crust-Fresh and made to orderCons-Limited seating-Very hot inside-Pizza needed sauce, it lacked flavor, chicken was dry-They did not offer water cups-Long wait time once food was ordered

For years, the pizza has always been consistent. The crust is nice and fluffy buttery and thin. We ordered the cheese, margarita and a chicken basil pizza always delicious. The customer service is always friendly and welcoming Franks is a staple pizzeria in the community with fun atmosphere.

The pizza was delicious and served hot. The service was great and everyone was very friendly and professional. The line was very long when we arrived but it moved very fast as we waited. It's a pizzeria so I wasn't looking for something wild but it was clean and that's important to me. If you're looking for great pizza this is the spot.

I tend to have a love/hate relationship with most pizza joints as I'm getting older.Franks was the OG of pizza spots in my book, growing up I thought it was the best NY style pizza ever.. that is until I of course visited The big apple in person. Don't get me wrong, it's still satisfies the late night inebriated me on any given weekend but unless the kids request it I no longer frequent during daylight hours. Service is normally fast paced, yet sustainable and friendly. Parking situation is non existent but if I'm staying at a downtown hotel, I will for sure order delivery. I will say, the wings are probably my favorite thing now.

As one of the H-Town's most well known NY style pizzeria's, Frank's has played a pivotal role in the downtown lunch and late night night scene. The many years of serving drunk craving pizza has served them well, giving this place a fanbase amongst club goers, drunks, and late night enthusiasts (#1).The cliff note's version for folks seeking out New York pizza: If Frank's were actually located in NYC, this would likely rank on the lower end of the pizza spectrum. This is middle of the road to lesser New York pizza, but everything tastes good when drunk. It's not hard to pinpoint the differences, Frank's pizzas are of a slightly thicker end crust, the sauce to cheese ratio is way off, and the baking has a certain kind of Costco-esque broil finish to it. The conveyor oven that they use is stuff I would attribute to some of the national pizza chains, which appeals to a lot of the rest of the America. It's not bad pizza per se, but it's not in the same realm as some of the more typical pizza joints in any of the five boroughs. Also, what's up with the whole slices of tomatoes in the margherita? There is usually a good crowd here and the seating is limited to the upstairs and some counter / small table space in the front. Most patrons are going in takeout mode and order pizza by the slice. A lot of the slices are in the sub-$4+ range, which makes them a slightly pricier option (#2) right off the bat.I realize that one of the weakest links in H-Town's food scene is pizza but that likely won't stop me from coming here. I still appreciate their individual sized pizza slice boxes and the fast paced service. It's really about managing expectations, which if any, should be fairly low.____________(#1) :::raises hand::: Present.(#2) Foodflation. Our biggest foe.

The wifey and I were with some friends walking around downtown late Friday night after another event we attended. This pizzeria Franks, they close at 3am on Saturday. We were there close to midnight. Yes a little late for some one of my old age. Far after my bedtime. But it was worth it! The line was long. Very long. They got it moving quickly. In about fifteen minutes we were at the front of the line. Something I very much like about this place, they sell whole pizzas or pizza by the slice. One slice is a generously sized piece. So we all went with that. We weren't to very hungry anyway. The pizza is good. Prices are very good as well. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, good stuff. We'll try it again when we're in the area hopefully.

Normally - I'd be eating a slice of Franks Pizza sometime between 2 and 3 am! Maybe for a late nighter snack after a place like Joystikz! And I can tell you between 2 and 3 am this pizza is the bomb! It's always super crowded (because it's YUM AF) and the seating is limited. But like I said it's Yum! Don't have to wait till between 2 and 3 am. Because it is still good then! Enjoy! In health and happiness! Cheers!
