Frank's Alot

I was working at a conference right across from Reading Market and when I saw Frank's had pierogis, I knew I had to try them!!Pierogis are one of my favorite foods since my family would make them every Christmas growing up. While I'd never expect a place to have them as good as our family's homemade recipe, I really enjoyed the pierogis here!They have an eclectic variety of food like wings, Mac n cheese, cornbreads with different fruits, and more. I got the pierogis that were 4 for $6, along with q side of sour cream. They tasted really good and I enjoyed them for lunch. All their food looked tasty, and I was very happy with my lunch here!

Tried the whole wings and blueberry cornbread. Not bad but nothing to write home about. The wings had a nice sticky but almost dry texture and were flavorful and juicy. The blueberry cornbread was just...good. I love how they alternate the cornbread flavors, though. Full disclosure, I'm a bit biased towards my own. I make a mean cornbread. Time to whip out the cast iron skillet...

Frank's Alot is a vendor in Reading Terminal market in Philly, known for their comfort Southern food. You can order in line from the case and customize what you want to eat/how much you want to eat. The prices are reasonable and you're paying by weight. The sweet n spicy wings were a bit dry but they looked very appetizing.

I visited this location on Saturday. The food appeared to be pleasing to the eye and I wanted to purchase. So I came around the counter and asked if I could order. There were 3 staff members and the one said yeah and pointed to the sign that said order here. I think she was trying to be smart but I let it slide. The other lady was on the phone and the guy was walked away. I was standing there for a while and was never served. I will never patronize this business the attitudes are disgusting. The customer service was piss poor.

Within Reading Terminal Market, my wife wanted chicken fingers for the kids and some pierogies. It was busy and underwhelming, to be honest. Despite the hustle and bustle, I managed to get what I wanted, but overall, it was unremarkable.

I definitely do not recommend this place. The food wasn't that good, the people weren't friendly, and it took a long time. We stopped here for lunch and I really regret it. I got the chili cheese dog, my bf got the pizza dog, and we split fries and a Mac n cheese. The fries and Mac n cheese were just ok. We did find a weird green spot on the Mac n cheese though that was concerning. The hot dogs and buns were dry. The chili was dry and flavorless. I definitely think there are better places to go in reading terminal.

I tried the BBQ wings recently at Frank's in Reading Terminal. Like most food in Reading Terminal, pretty much everything touched turns to magic. The wings were really yummy-tasted like BBQ flavored rotisserie chicken. Well seasoned skin and quality meat. I'm giving a 4/5 instead of 5/5 bc the wings were kind of cold when I got them. Believe or not, even cold, these wings somehow still tasted delicious. That says something! I'd definitely get their wings again and I'm sure they're even better hot. The staff were kind of rude...but...when food tastes good enough I can get past that haha. The market is also an extremely busy and crowded place, so it's possible they were just a bit stressed which I can understand.

mac and cheese caught my eye but it was very bland, chicken tender seem to be made from frozen, its not a solid piece of chicken tender it is blended patty with no seasoning . service is decent but food was very disappointing .

Pretty sweet pierogis and Philly dogs. Service was efficient and the cooks were friendly.

This my first stop while visiting RTM, the chicken looked good but while tasting it didn't really have flavor but it was tender. The pierogis were okay, I wish they were crispier. Employees here didn't seem friendly either. I'd go somewhere else
