Update: I edited Yelp review from three stars to five stars. Fox Bros - Brookhaven saw my review and apologized for the missing items. I am so glad that Fox Bros reached out and now I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu! ______________________________________________________________________________Husband first visit here at the Brookhaven Fox Bros BBQ restaurant. Place was not that busy and he got a to-go order. BBQ was very expensive for what we ordered: total overall was $71!!! for 1/4 lb of brisket and pork for two but I did order side individual items like brisket chili and white pimento cheese dip. Brookhaven Fox Bros bbq was good not the best like the main location. Also received a quart container of bbq sauce as they do not have the bottle Fox Bros bbq sauce at this location? Didn't not need the quart sauce as we already had three Fox Bros BBQ bottled sauce at home. Also I did not get a receipt for my takeout order and was missing few items: chocolate bread pudding - the dessert of the day and no crackers that supposed to come with my pimento cheese dip and fried chicken ribs. Husband said he had to go back inside to get fried chicken ribs and did not realized the dessert was also missing. No sliced bread or cornbread offerings either. Brookhaven Fox Bros bbq was good not the best like the main location on Dekalb Avenue. We will go back to Brookhaven and maybe not order as much but we liked it but decided the main location is way better. Please check your order before leaving as we did not get all of our order and no receipt to validate what we ordered.

After a couple of not so great visits, I decided to not go back for a while. Today (7/27/24) my daughter and I were running errands in the neighborhood, and we decided to go to Chic Fil A for a late lunch. On a whim, at the last minute, we decided to pivot and walk into Fox Bros across the courtyard from CFA. SO glad we did!!! Sometimes places need to iron out some kinks, and I get that. They definitely had a false start, but they must have taken the feedback and acted on it. That's commendable. I had a brisket sandwich with a side of crinkly fries. It was extremely delicious. Very flavorful, tender and the perfect amount of fat. My daughter had ribs and mac n cheese and she was also extremely satisfied. The staff were friendly and the place was clean. At one point an owner/manager (not sure which) came over and checked on us. I let him know that my experience this time was superior to my visits shortly after they first opened. He seemed to genuinely appreciate the feedback and acknowledged that they had some issues to work out at first. I see some other negative reviews, like my earlier ones. I would encourage anyone who had a subpar experience to give it another shot. Based on my experience today, you'll be glad you went back. Well done Fox Bros. Good recovery.

Really, GREAT BBQ, 1st tried Fox Bro's @ The Battery in the Terrapin Tap Room, 1st time trying it at one of their places & it did not disappoint. Brisket, Pulled Pork & Jalapeño Sausage were all amazing!

Came here for a smash burger pop up. By the time we got here, the burgers were gone so we decided to give the BBQ a try! (We drove an hour to get here, we were hungry) soooo glad the burgers were gone because this was some of the best BBQ we've had in Ga!

Tasty BBQ. Three sauces; all good. TVs to watch sports. Reasonable pricing. Inside and outside seating. Professional staff.

The service was wonderful. I was greeted warmly, and when I explained it, it was my first time the person behind the counter, I'm millennial took his time explaining how it works. The Brookhaven location has a limited menu, which is fine.There's lots of seating in there. They weigh it for you and even though the menu may say a half a pound or a quarter a pound you can add as much as you like and you were charged accordingly. That part I like. He sliced the brisket in front of me and I asked him to chop it and he did that as well. Mac & Cheese was decent. I'm happy that it wasn't orange -but it was tasty. It might've made a little salt and pepper. Maybe a little onion powder but I'm used to that. I didn't put anything on it and enjoyed it ( I always have to count for the fact that my taste buds are not the same since being sick.) Now that I'm speaking of it, it's less salty than City BBQ. However, I don't mind the Salter City BBQ because I only eat it on average once a month, which is probably a lot, but I enjoy it. ‍I guess the price is about the same. What you see in the picture was about $27 with a two dollar carry Away tip because I was just treated so nicely and professionally.City BBQ, but this is a great place to try in a pinch. By the way, they had three sauces, original, spicy, and a vinegar version.

3.5 Stars is probably the spot on rating.Was exciting to get another spot close by in Brookhaven. Came in and got a to-go order for 4 adults and 2 kids came out to about 130 with a small tip.Smoked Turkey - pretty safe option, a little on the peppery side. Brisket- another good option, juicy even on the flat. Decent bark, and flavor.Saturday Special Short Rib - this was a big let down. Edges were far too burnt meat to bone ratio left little meat for a pretty pricey cut.Texas Twinkie - fun little appetizer, jalapeño wrapped in bacon. Stuffed with cream cheese and brisket. Worth a taste for sure but don't need a whole one to a person.Mac and cheese- this is the prize of the side dishes!Potato salad and green beans were average sides.Ambience was excellent, very new modern decor and new build.Service was ok, not many people in line so was asking about what the specials were (I personally didn't know what a Texas Twinkie was) and felt like they were uninterested in any questions.Food wise it lands about in the middle of a lot of good BBQ in Atlanta, but felt pricier (maybe it was mostly the Short Rib).

So this spot opened up near me and I was elated! I love a good spot I get some smoked brisket or burgers or whatever. It's basically walking distance so I feel like I couldn't miss! It's in a little plaza so you might have to do a little bit of navigating to get where you need to go if you come in on the wrong side of the parking lot but that's not the biggest deal, not the end of the world!Since it has opened up, I ended up going with the smoke cheddar burger, green beans, brisket by the lb, brisket chili, and the mac and cheese.I asked the person at the front to let me know what his best and favorites were, and he decorated and dressed my food to his liking because he said it was solid so I trust him. We actually had a good conversation.They have indoor and outdoor seating if you want to sit outside on a nice day. It's in the same plaza as where you would find a mellow mushroom and Chick-fil-A so you'll find multiple people eating depending on what time you go. For example if it's lunch time or whatever the case may be.

Went to check out the new location here in Brookhaven. I should probably be ashamed how I went in on those ribs but they were soooo good. This location has a limited menu, and that may be permanent, but I do wish I could get their wings. I ordered ribs, a side of Mac and green beans. I also had the butterscotch banana pudding. I wasn't a super duper fan of the BP. It was a little too loose for my liking, but wasn't overly sweet. The ribs were great as usual. The sides were cool also. I'm def glad they are closer to me now. Park around back--it's an open lot and should be plenty of space. However, be aware of the CFA designated spaces for curbside.

Great BBQ in Brookhaven. Even better margarita. Was pleasantly surprised. I arrived around 7:30 pm and they were nearly sold out. It wasn't crowded and the staff were friendly. Will visit again!
