Fountain View Liquor

Let me start off by saying this was the worst customer service I have experienced at a liquor store. I tried to give this small business a try but I will definitely continue to visit Specs from now on. No greeting upon entry. No suggestions made. Both clerks seemed more interested in helping a man and his cheap date. Never again will this place get my business. Never. Never. Never.

I love the personal touch that we received from Burt! Had a great conversation with him about his new wines. He also gave great recommendations on restaurants being new to the area. Very impressed with the white Pinot Noir wine he recommended

This really is THE place if you want a reasonable, or expensive bottle of good wine. Good selection but not overwhelming. The owner is crazy knowledgeable but in an approachable way. He does things with the Houston Rodeo Wine Committee. I think that he said he only likes to bring in wines with at least 1 gold medal. He really seems to be a "sleuth" for good bottles. I have been pleased with all of his recommendations to me, about 3 I believe. I am happy that I will be moving to that area again. I wont miss going to the giant red and white rabbit and having the guy give me a bottle of bottom shelf without even asking -_- Go in when yo have some time to talk to him!

Went in looking for a birthday gift. I know very little about liquor and spirits and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Great experience.

What a great liquor store!! And the best part is they sell tons of good Italian wines that you can take into La Vista next door to drink with your meal for a small corkage fee. My good friend and I bought one Newton Chardonnay (Napa Valley) and one Santa Margherita red wine to go with our meal and they were both so good! We both said we would buy each one again. Prices are really affordable and the selection is great. There were so many wines to choose from; so many varietals and price points which is always good. We had a tough time deciding but the cashier was friendly and offered her advice as well. Score!

Stopped in to grab a bottle of whiskey, and left with a few extras. Great selection, reasonable prices, and fantastic service. I will definitely be back!
