"Chicken with white rice and salad was delicious. The chicken was moist and tender. The salmon a la carte was dry. The lamb a la carte was delectable. The spinach was below average. Good customer service. Plenty of parking. No indoor sitting, however, outdoor seating is available."
"Been to this place multiple times times. Great Mediterranean food! Great service from staff. They offer complimentary bread for starter. You can enjoy your meal in a great ambiance."

"Have to say I was not awe-inspired by the range of lunch options I searched up in Fort Worth, and my first thought here was that I did not come to Texas for the Turkish food. However, their business lunch menu offered some fantastic choices, and the number of diners began to mount when I left, suggesting that this was indeed the best spot in the area for a business lunch. The menu does kind of lock you into ordering a big lunch, but I was quite happy with what I got for the price. Of the two courses, my main course of choice yielded not only some interesting flat falafel, but also white bean salad, grilled vegetables, rice, and hummus. And that's not including the complimentary pita and yogurt. The main difficulty I had was finding another course that wasn't redundant with all this variety, which I successfully nailed in finding a red lentil soup that came with a lemon wedge on the side. This was a ton of diversity in flavor and texture. Adding tea wasn't a bad decision either. It was a classy interior space and I received attentive service from people who did seem to have Turkish accents.I try to frame these things in terms of a comparison of what the realistic alternatives are, and I doubt I could have found a better lunch than this."
"Take out deliveryEverything came in the order and packed well. Had the Manhattan Bowl and the Chicken Bowl, and a side of Garlic Fries Both were really good and just the right spice on each dish. It was more than enough for two people. Even had left overs. I recommend this place for take out and I plan on ordering from there again soon."
"Great food. We were the only ones in. A nice lady took care of us. I recommend the stuffed grape leaves. They only give 3 I could eat about 15 of those in one sitting! The Kafta platter was amazing. The rice was sooooooo good. I could also eat that all by itself. When we were leaving it looks like the family stopped by, which was sweet"
"Best chicken shawarma in town, hands down. We went on a night when they had a live guitarist softly playing up front. This is a BYOB place that offers fresh, delicious food is an atmosphere that is comfortable but understated.Try the baba ghanoush, the lemon rice soup, and the chicken shawarma (duh)."
"There are not many Mediterranean places in Fort Worth so Nish! can certainly capitalize on a lack of competition. We had stopped by after reading the reviews, but unfortunately left hoping for better. The biggest pro - the service. We had come during the lunch rush and there was one server serving the 10ish tables. She handled everyone's orders and requests with grace and went non stop. Give her a raise! The food - is good, but the biggest question mark was the beef. We had gotten the arayes appetizer, which barely had any ground beef, and the beef kabobs did not seem fresh. My partner had gotten the beef shawarma and same thing, good flavor, but can tell it wasn't fresh. The chicken was fine. The rice also was a bit bland. If you're craving some Mediterranean food in the Fort Worth area, Nish! Is an option, but temper expectations ahead of time."
"I cannot believe that I haven't reviewed this hidden gem. We live around the corner and have come here no less than a dozen times over the last few years. It's very convenient and always clean inside. It is most definitely a family run business. They all have big smiles and so friendly every time we come in here. Don't get in a hurry because it's not fast food. However, we never wait too long at all. We always start with their amazing hummus and pita bread. The pita bread is very fresh and always hot. Almost to a point that you can't hold it too long. The hummus is a generous portion and SOOOO good.Tonight I had the gyro with their fries. My wife had the chicken kabob. They don't scrimp on portions and the meat is delicious! I could eat this every single day of my life. Even their fries are crispy and tasty. My wife loved her chicken kabob, as usual. We love this place and one of our favorite Mediterranean restaurants in the metroplex."
"I've been to Piaf Kitchen so many times within the last two years. They have the best of both worlds as far as dining. If you're having a date night with your man or lady I recommend sitting downstairs it's classy. If you are a bunch of women that just wanna have a good time sit upstairs . Good food good drinks. Make a reservation as they fill up quickly. On weekends they have live music, which makes it entertaining especially when everybody sing along. And obviously the food is delicious. What I'm most impressed about is the service it's not only your waiter that's going to help your table, all the waiters help each other out which I find fantastic. They are all quick and courteous and fun Bunch of individuals. I usually order anything I do not make at home in the past few times I've ordered their lamb shank. All I can say is melting your mouth."
"this place is pretty good I ordered a few things via Uber eats :1) borek cigar - pretty good but I think that it would be best to eat it hot right when it comes out . 3.6/52) kibbeh - I do prefer the version with a thinner wrap and not rice but it was still pretty good . The accompanying garlic sauce was great (3.9/5)3) iskindar- this is one of my favourite Turkish cuisine dishes . It was ok here - a little bit too dry (3.6/5)A descent Turkish food option here in Arlington"
"Came here about a month ago from this review. Great food and great service. Plenty of seats. We ordered chicken shawarma plate and the beef kifta kabob plate with a side of hummus. The hummus and pita breads are so addicting. A plate is enough to share among 2 people. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're near by."
"What an amazing Gem, very cute place, perfect ambiance, they have great local wines from Turkey, perfect little casual Date night or during the week.We ordered the hummas that came with turkish bread fresh out of the oven, the hummas was amazing. We ordered the Iskendar Kebab (bread gyro smothered with red sauce, very fresh flavors, and served with plain yogurt in the side) super yummy. My absolute favorite was the Moussaka ( egplant was amazing with layers of potatoes and beef served with delicious rice.We ordered the Turkish tea and the kunefe for desert OMG it was so good, I am so coming back for more! Narjes (hope I spelled your name right) Gave us excellent service - Thank you! I will definitely be back, keep up the amazing work!"

We ended up having a late lunch/early dinner here after someone recommended it. There's plenty of parking in this plaza. The interior is okay, nothing fancy. Service was friendly. Pricing was slightly on the higher end.My wife ordered a beef kobida wrap, and I ordered lamb kabobs with kabuli rice. The beef wrap was pretty good. It seemed to be a whole wheat wrap, and enough veggies and sauce to make it flavorful. It did get messy with all the sauce leaking out, though. One comment I have is that the beef kabob kind of seemed skinny compared to the size of the wrap. The lamb with rice and spinach was also pretty tasty. The cooked spinach didn't seem to match the dish, but the kabuli rice was good and the carrots were cooked nicely. The sauce was flavorful. The lamb kabobs were good, though a bit tough.

The chicken kabobs were incredibly juicy and flavorful--I wish I could meal prep kebabs like that every day. Our server treated us to complimentary hummus and baba ghanoush. The hummus was wonderfully smooth and creamy, while the baba ghanoush, though not my favorite, had an interesting flavor. The pita was soft and warm, and the dinner rolls with butter they serve beforehand were phenomenal. The service was excellent, and the front door, big and heavy, adds to the authentic vibe. It's a bit pricey, but what isn't these days? Plus, the quality of service balances out the cost. Seeing spanakopita and avgolemono soup on the menu would have made my day. Let me know if they ever make it to the menu, and I'll be back!

Warm & cozy place! It has a good vibe & is elegant but not over the top fancy. A place for everyone!Friendly staff, easy online booking, spacious tables to fit all your appetizers & entrées. Clean & not a crammed restaurant. It's a bit small in regards to how many can dine at once, but keep in mind it is not a stand alone building. Only mentioning it because for sure make reservations! There's a parking lot close by, extra bonus. You might spend about $35+ per person if you consider entrées, appetizers, beverages, & tip. Hummus & the sigura borek were delicious! The entrées are a pretty good portion size. I had the Turkish Meatballs - ground lamb patties, rice, & veggies. I was happy to see the veggies were white beans! Others in my party had chicken tava, salmon kebabs, gyro, & a zucchini pancake. No complaints from us!Worth it, go here, you won't be disappointed.

Okay, this is weird. I don't normally change a review within 24, but nothing less than a miracle has occurred, so I need to be fair. I am NOT changing my opinion of the falafels. They are still among the worst I have had in town. But the burger I now suspect to be enchanted. Without being too detailed, I have had stomach issues for a very long time. Sometimes, ordering out has terrible consequences on my poor stomach. I really expected the greasy burger from yesterday to send my stomach into convulsions. It was a tasty burger (I keep hearing Samuel L. Jackson's voice in my head when I think that), but it was indeed greasy. So, today rolls around and I was fearful of how it might progress. It's like that burger had magical healing powers. I feel better than I have in ages. I will probably repeat the burger treatment every few days for awhile. Obviously, your mileage may vary, but it had a positive impact on me.

I've been here twice and love their fattoush salad! I always add chicken shawarma for some extra protein. The lady who served me both times is so sweet and welcoming. I'll be back again.

Walked right in and was seated for a party of 1! The ambiance was very nice. Christmas music playing in the background. Quiet enough to hear it. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Food: I ordered a few items for myself... tried the appetizer with 3 sides- hummus, tzatziki, and babaganoush with pita bread. The only one for me was the hummus. For my entree I ordered the beef swarma plate and upgraded my salad to a Greek salad for $3.95 extra. It came with green beans and rice as well. $17.95. Service was great. The owner, Matbolli ( I think that's how you spell it), came and made his rounds at tables and asked how everyone's experience was going. I told him my meat was a little over cooked and he brought me another order of medium cooked beef! That meat was PERFECT! IN ALL HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

What a gem this place is! So glad we found it! The location was a bit out of the way for us and it was so worth the drive. The food was delicious, and incredibly fresh. I ordered the kabob plate with chicken, beef, and lamb. The meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked (grilled). The baba ganoush on the side was creamy and delicious. The tahini sauce was so fresh. My son got the chicken schwarma and it was fresh, hot and the pita wrap was perfect. My husband ordered the falafel and the Nish! Salad, all great. I had lentil soup on the side and oh my gosh! It was so perfect, especially on a cold night. And the servers (we had two) were attentive and friendly. Great place!

Most other restaurants I go to- it's a hit or miss- the server might be not so nice- but here- 10/10!!!!I got a chicken shawarma which was super tasty I loved the mayonnaise. The lemon soup was also so tasty and unique. Super recommend!I'd definitely come back in the future!

"Man, the Yelpers did us right on this one! First of all, if you aren't from the Denton area... you back into park here! Okay, that being said, let's eat! We started with the OG, that's "original gyro", and it was delicious! Highly recommend! However, after reading the reviews, I think it's the gyro bowl next time, as they serve very generous portions! The wife went with the Mediterranean salad! It was HUGE! It was DELICIOUS! She might've out-ordered me here! On the side, she ordered fries... they were hot, crispy and perfect! I had the 1/2 order of the 360 (everything) fries! They were awesome! Highly recommend! If you are looking for a good vegan option, this place totally works! Get the falafel instead of the gyro or chicken! You'll be glad you did!At the time, the fountain drink machine was down, but that's no problem. I guess you buss your own table, but I didn't see a sign.... so sorry, guys! I owe ya! I'll be back though! The only ding I would hit them on, was the tiramisu. I told my wife it's clearly designed as a to-go, but it was super dry and no espresso flavor at all. Even with that disappointment, we will still easily give this place 5 stars, and be back often!"
"Decided to check this j place out for dinner before some relaxing at turning Point brewery down the road.. Can you ever go wrong with authentic Lebanese Mediterranean food?? I love this family owned BYOB café we had the baby ganache and the Awadi dip They were both very tasty and generous size portions prices here are very reasonable many options to choose from even some cool non alcoholic drinks.I had a Gyro sandwich my husband had a lamb shank came with salad and rice I was so stuffed I couldn't even finish my entire sandwich or the appetizer. The waiter said they had been there 12 years - my bad for never checking them out before! Don't be like me and wait that long!!"
"Shout out to Moe's Gyro for their hummus and their Greek salad, two dishes that are absolutely essential in my life.. Moe's food is all so pretty and colorful and fresh. Their Greek salad is crunchy and filled with lots of veggies, and the dressing is so good and acidic. The hummus is that perfect velvety texture and super rich, it doesn't need anything but it goes with everything. Of course Jon enjoyed his gyro pita wrap and fries. The gyro didn't fall apart and the meat had great flavor, and the fries were crispy and salty. Shawarma is up next on my list."
"AWESOME SHWARMA! The bread is so soft and delicious the service was a normal type place nothing to write about, and the ambiance is a great local spot type of vibe. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a good shwarm! I went on a youtube foodie vlog and they were doing a video on Middle East food and my mouth was drooling. Hence I looked what was around me and this hit the spot!"
"The Flying Carpet is back...again! Finally re-opening after a kitchen fire, the Flying Carpet is back, with a new chef and menu. One of my favorite haunts in Fort Worth when it opened over a decade ago, we were happy to find that it has persevered once again, 3 chefs/menus later. For fans of the Flying Carpet - the menu is different and a bit more expanded and that should warrant a visit regardless. The new menu still has some old favorites, such as the Adana Kabob, which I ordered and which was still awesome. The Wife's Chicken Gyro platter was also delicious. Coupled with fresh baked bread and that relaxing, authentic atmosphere, we are happy to add the Flying Carpet into the rotation again, as should you."
"Amazing flavors! The chef really knocked it out of the park! Staff is helpful and friendly. Surprisingly quiet lol but very beautiful inside. The lighting is gentle and the music isn't too loud."
"With only 5-7 tables in the dining room, cuisine prepared by a creative and daring master chef, and a professional waiter who actually serves from the left and removes from the right (what a concept!), Gorji is close to a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Expensive, yes, but the no-tipping policy reduces the pressure on your wallet down to that of dining in almost any other up-up-upscale restaurant. The duck breast was the best I've ever had, and my wife enjoyed the sea bass, which was prepared and presented in a manner neither of us have seen before. We wouldn't mind at all if Chef Gorji mandated upscale dress for his diners, in keeping with his upscale restaurant. But sadly, those days are nearly gone. Few people "dress for dinner" anymore, though the Gorji experience certainly deserves it."
"We stopped here for lunch on the way home from the kid's swimming competition in North Dallas. The restaurant had been closed for renovation but now is open (October 27, 2024).The ambience is clean and minimalist. Our server explained that they plan to get some plants and decorations that will spruce things up a bit. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday about noon. We seated ourselves and the waitress came shortly thereafter. The menu has all of the regular items you expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. The child had a starter of hummus and pita. The hummus was really good, lots of garlic and the right consistency. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad.I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. Prices were very reasonable."
"Great place to enjoy Mediterranean style food. This is the best place I have found in the Dallas Fort Worth area for Shawarma and Falafel.. Although they do not boast a dine in experience, we may order delivery next time for a group of friends and or several meals."
"Wow, if I lived in Dallas this would be the goto for shawarma. Delicious and a fabulous portion of food that am struggling to finish. I ate in and the restaurant was clean and orderly. The fountain drinks provided extra refills and I ordered a meal with a Lebanese salad expecting a little bowl and it's a whole plate. There is no way you can walk away from a combo plate feeling hungry. Monday thru Friday from 11-3pm you can get any plate for 11.99. This place is a fantastic deal for lunch and dinner."
"Alright I will rate what I got, and my gyro plate was 10/10! I got the gyro with white rice and chickpeas, and told him to make it spicy. First of all, DO NOT SKIP ON ADDING CHICKPEAS! It's probably the best side they have. The gyro itself was juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Service was very quick and friendly, and this was at 11 pm so it stands for something! Definitely recommend checking it out!"
"If you want to visit a place that's on par with the fine dining outfits in Dallas, head here. The food is great. We usually sit at the bar and do apps and a bottle of wine. Oh, if you like wine - you need to come here. Their list is EXTENSIVE."
"Such an amazing restaurant! We love their food and have never had a bad experience. I was going to order on Uber Eats and didn't see the rice as a side. If you've ever tasted their rice you'll want to order just that. It's a long grain yellow rice with delicate spices and is so tender and perfectly cooked. I called and asked before ordering if I could sub rice on my gyro. They accommodated me and it was very kind of them."
"This might be one of DFW's best kept secrets. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza off of Hall-Johnson/121 with plenty of parking available and very reasonable prices.Walk in and look at the expansive menu, which is essentially broken down into different variations of plates, kabobs, platters, and sandwiches. Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrongThe guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. Shout out to them for always maintaining a positive attitude, whether its during a chaotic day or a slow day.Note: This place can get busy, so you may not have any luck calling in your orders and/or you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it!"
"My daughter and I decided to grab lunch and saw the great reviews and decided to give Shatila a try since it was only 5 minutes away. We entered and were immediately greeted and were given an option to sit where we chose. I decided that we'd dine outside since it was such a beautiful day. I decided upon the mixed grill and chose rice and tabouli as my sides. Our salads were brought out first and I was extremely pleased with my choice! I was surprised by how much was given and extremely thankful. The main entrees were brought out about 10-15 minutes later and the meat was juicy and delicious!!! I LOVED the chicken more than the beef which was surprising. For both of our meals along with 2 bottled waters , our total was a little over $41.00 which I thought was reasonable considering the portions and taste. I highly recommend this place and will be back soon to try a different meal."
"I've been here probably 5+ times now. Their rice, hummus, and grilled meats are so freaking good. Portion sizes are huge (prices reflect that). Chill dining experience, nice staff, perfect for takeout. Check this place out if you love Mediterranean!"
"Driving home from the airport, and wanted to get something for dinner. Its been a while since i last had halal guys and was craving some meat with rice. When i got here, it was really empty and when i ordered it was really quick, I was kinda surprised how fast my food was ready. I ended up getting a beef-lamb rice platter with only the white sauce. when i was walking out the store, the bag felt light and when i got home i was stunned on the portion size for the the price i paid. The price for a rice platter is about 13 bucks, and i don't think its completely worth it. As for the taste, i really enjoyed it. The rice was fluffy and the meat was juicy and tender. i should've asked for heavy white sauce on top of my food, cuz they also charge for extra to go sauces (red & white)I don't think i'll be back."
"We were in Addison for the kid's swimming competition and decided to try this place since we were in the mood for something different from our usual routine. We went for lunch on a Sunday. We found street parking near the front entrance. The ambience of the restaurant is upscale-casual. Everything was clean and wiped down. There is nothing really "mediterranean" about the interior, but that did not matter. We were greeted by our server very soon after being seated. It took a few minutes to digest the menu since it is pretty extensive and everything looked enticing. The wife decided on babagonush for an app, while I tried the Turkish tea pot. The tea was really tasty, especially after adding a bit of honey for sweetness. I tried the babagonush and thought it was good with a smoky aftertaste, but the wife disagreed and thought it was a little bitter. But it's my review so I have the final say. It was smoky. It was a large portion so we could only finish about half. It comes with a good amount of pita bread. We were also given a cup of lentil soup, gratis. It needed some salt but basically was good. The wife and I decided to split a combo tower which is one skewer of chicken and one of ground beef. We decided a Greek salad and roasted veggies as our sides. Everything was spectacularly good. The beef was juicy, tender, and had wonderful seasoning. Delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a wonderful grilled flavor plus whatever marinade they used. Delicious. The roasted veggies were perfect. Delicious. The Greek salad was perfect. Delicious. Service was very attentive and helpful. A very pleasant young woman whose name I did not get but it stared with a M. She was great. Overall, I consider this place to be a real find. It is off the beaten track of Belt Line by a few blocks, but if you see this restaurant it is definitely worth a try."
"Can here for a belated birthday dinner with a friend. Unfortunately, they do not do anything special for birthdays and it seems if you come too early (5ish) for dinner that you don't get what seemed to be a complimentary glass of champagne. We tried both martinis, shrimp in garlic and baba ghanoush as an appetizer, branzino and the first lamb entree in the menu. Everything was excellent with the shrimp app and the branzino being our fav! There is a display for dessert and we tried the strawberry red velvet and pistachio cheesecake. Those were definitely a hit. Service is attentive, even as they got busy, she made sure to check on us as she could. She was also very patient with the fact we had a child with us. Much appreciated as he is a typically kid dropping things and what not.My only pain point was serving wine with a lot of sediments. The wine was good but lost its appeal with the amount of sediments in the glass and in the sip."
"Came here, and stumbled out of the blue waseem amazing!! he put together a meal for us and we had a little bit of everything that hummus and baba ghanoush and the platter was incredible, and the bread comes out in this huge circle, it was truly an experience! Really enjoyed ourselves"
"The beef and lamb gyro is a must get at this place. The meat was really flavorful and well seasoned. It came in a pita encasing that was soft and held up the filling quiet well. The tzatziki sauce was just about enough without making the pita soggy, so that's a plus. The two sides I had included dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) and spicy potatoes. The dolmas were really good, tender and packed with a stuffing of rice. The spicy potatoes were a bit of a let down as they weren't crisp as I expected, and they weren't spicy enough for my taste.Overall, the food was fresh, tasty and pretty cheap, as my meal came to $10 and some change."
"Moe's Gyro is seriously awesome! The gyros are super tasty and packed with flavor, and they don't cost a fortune. The new spot is totally worth checking out if you're looking for some really good food without spending too much. If you're in the area, you gotta try it--trust me, you won't be disappointed!"
"Generous portions.Decent prices. Clean location. Fries were a little dry though they were seasoned well. Next time I'll ask to cook my falafel longer so inside isn't mushy."
