"Amazing flavors! The chef really knocked it out of the park! Staff is helpful and friendly. Surprisingly quiet lol but very beautiful inside. The lighting is gentle and the music isn't too loud."
"I absolutely love CAVA.. the food is always fresh and the combinations are always interesting. The service is good as per the people working, but this location is extremely slow. If you're on a break I strongly suggest ordering a head by at least 30mins. Then when you arrive you only have to wait a additional 10mins for your order"

"Have to say I was not awe-inspired by the range of lunch options I searched up in Fort Worth, and my first thought here was that I did not come to Texas for the Turkish food. However, their business lunch menu offered some fantastic choices, and the number of diners began to mount when I left, suggesting that this was indeed the best spot in the area for a business lunch. The menu does kind of lock you into ordering a big lunch, but I was quite happy with what I got for the price. Of the two courses, my main course of choice yielded not only some interesting flat falafel, but also white bean salad, grilled vegetables, rice, and hummus. And that's not including the complimentary pita and yogurt. The main difficulty I had was finding another course that wasn't redundant with all this variety, which I successfully nailed in finding a red lentil soup that came with a lemon wedge on the side. This was a ton of diversity in flavor and texture. Adding tea wasn't a bad decision either. It was a classy interior space and I received attentive service from people who did seem to have Turkish accents.I try to frame these things in terms of a comparison of what the realistic alternatives are, and I doubt I could have found a better lunch than this."
"AWESOME SHWARMA! The bread is so soft and delicious the service was a normal type place nothing to write about, and the ambiance is a great local spot type of vibe. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a good shwarm! I went on a youtube foodie vlog and they were doing a video on Middle East food and my mouth was drooling. Hence I looked what was around me and this hit the spot!"
"Best chicken shawarma in town, hands down. We went on a night when they had a live guitarist softly playing up front. This is a BYOB place that offers fresh, delicious food is an atmosphere that is comfortable but understated.Try the baba ghanoush, the lemon rice soup, and the chicken shawarma (duh)."
"Food was good but it took 45min to get my small takeout order. Ordered online, showed up and waited over an additional 20min.. When I arrived I was told it was "almost" ready, but it seemed like they just started working on it. 4 people in the back not really doing anything and no sense of urgency. Ordered a Ouizi, Tabboulie and Kunafeh. Never had a Ouizi before and enjoyed it. Kunafeh was also good and a new favorite dessert of mine. I'd order from here again if I knew it would be ready on time. They also didn't provide utensils which I didn't discover until I got to my hotel... A bit of an inconvenience."
"Fantastic! Everything was really fresh & flavorful. The restaurant is clean with a cute Mediterranean motif. The staff is friendly. I have zero complaints. I ordered the Greek Lemon Chicken Soup + Mediterranean Salad. The soup is chock full of herbs and lemony zest, tender shredded chicken, and basmati rice. It normally comes with pita bread but I'm GF so I passed on that. The salad was fresh and included garbanzo beans, candied pecans, and feta cheese. (There are 3 salad options and I can definitely recommend the Mediterranean.)My hubby had the beef gyro + potato chips. The gyro was loaded up with juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned beef, and the chips were fresh and delicious. For drinks, you can choose from fountain sodas, sweet or unsweet tea, bottled Topo Chico and Pellegrino including plain or orange flavored in the can. They also have desserts like baklava, cheesecake, and cookies. A really great menu! We'll definitely be back."
"This might be one of DFW's best kept secrets. It's tucked away in a small shopping plaza off of Hall-Johnson/121 with plenty of parking available and very reasonable prices.Walk in and look at the expansive menu, which is essentially broken down into different variations of plates, kabobs, platters, and sandwiches. Order up and sit at one of the available tables/booths. What we got: Gyro sandwich contains plenty of nicely flavored gyro meat, veggies, and a warm, soft pita. We've tried the kofta kabobs, chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and you just can't go wrongThe guys running this place (or at least always at the counter/preparing the food) are always super nice and patient. Shout out to them for always maintaining a positive attitude, whether its during a chaotic day or a slow day.Note: This place can get busy, so you may not have any luck calling in your orders and/or you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it!"
"My sponsor treated me to dinner on a Friday evening. We discovered it was a drive through as we reviewed the website in more detail on our way over. We were accepting of this less formal adventure as we considered how pleased our baby dog would be since we would return home quickly and he would be able to review our food selections while he spending time with us. The restaurant is a renovation of a hot dog stand in the middle of a parking lot. They did a good job and improved the appearance. The order takes longer that a burger joint since they make a more custom meal. We ordered Baba Ghanoush, Chicken Bowl and a Gyro Bowl. One of the difficult issues was driving home smelling the wonderful flavors and not being able to sample the way you do when you have a burger and fries. The best part was opening the containers and being able to start sampling the great mix of foods. This is a very good opportunity to make a quick stop after being struck with a sudden craving for Mediterranean. We enjoyed all of the foods. They provided a good helping of the chicken and Gyro. Hope they don't start cutting back."
"So I've been meaning to try Cava for awhile now, and today I finally did!! While the food was good, the customer service at this location was PHENOMENAL!! Seeing as it was my first time, I had a few questions and the two ladies helping me were SO kind, patient, and helpful!! They made the BEST suggestions and went out of their way to make sure that I had a great experience!! I had a lot going on and now that I'm thinking about it, I don't remember what their names were, which is unfortunate, because they absolutely deserve to be recognized!! They truly went above and beyond for me, and after the day I had, it truly meant so much. I am so grateful for their kindness. Anyway - ON TO THE FOOD!! I had a greens and grains bowl with the Superfood greens and the Saffron Basmati Rice. For my protein I got the Honey Harissa Chicken. For my toppings I did the pita crisps, tomato and cucumber, pickled onions, tomato and onion, fire roasted corn, and Persian cucumbers. I got a variety of sauces, and I got them all on the side, (just in case I didn't like any of them). SO glad that I did that! There were a few I wasn't a fan of, but the ones that I liked and ended up putting in my bowl were the harissa spread, skhug, garlic dressing, and the hot harissa vinaigrette!! As someone who likes at least a little bit of spice, I think I had the perfect combination of sauces for my preference, so FYI - if you're like me, DO NOT SKIP the skhug, the harissa spread, and vinaigrette!! Then if you want, add some garlic dressing to balance it all out. SO GOOD!!There were SO many textures and flavor profiles going on in this bowl and somehow, it all worked together perfectly!! All the vegetables were super crisp and fresh, and the chicken was juicy and delightfully seasoned!! I figured the honey harissa chicken may be too sweet, but thankfully that wasn't the case. It had a touch of sweetness, but it was definitely more savory overall, so that was a nice surprise!! Oh and before I forget, I have to talk about the drinks!! I decided to put together a random concoction of the classic lemonade, cucumber mint lime, and the pineapple apple mint. Not quite sure what the ratios were, but I did mostly classic lemonade and a splash of the other two and somehow it turned out amazing!! It was light, super refreshing, and delicious!! So yeah - long story long, the customer service ALONE warranted 5 billion stars, but thankfully the food was fantastic as well!! DEFINITELY check this location out whenever you're in the area!!"
"Came here, and stumbled out of the blue waseem amazing!! he put together a meal for us and we had a little bit of everything that hummus and baba ghanoush and the platter was incredible, and the bread comes out in this huge circle, it was truly an experience! Really enjoyed ourselves"
"We have been going to Yummy's on University Drive a few times and we like that location quite a bit. We wanted to try this new location which is more convenient based on where we live. It's roughly the same size as the location on University Drive and the menu looks the same. They also have delivery via Doordash if you don't want to have to go to the restaurant. It looked really clean and everyone was really friendly. We tried their hummus which was pretty good. The pita bread had an odd flavor, it seemed oily and it tasted like they should have replaced the oil. I also had the gyro sandwich with extra meat. It was PACKED with meat, unless you are a big eater, the normal sized gyro is more than enough.I will give this location another shot, I hope to have a better experience on my next visit."

Our server Yaman was so kind and friendly. The food overall was pretty good- we enjoyed the sample of appetizers, but the gyro meat was a bit dry. The ambiance is welcoming with many tables and beautiful decorations.

I have been wanting to try this place right next to Whole foods. I understood it to be a Mediterranean sort of Chipotle with bowls and wraps.Hubbs and I arrived around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and the line was maybe 25 folks deep, but it moved pretty quickly. I had hubby wait in line while I popped into Whole Foods to get a bag of chips (They only offer pita chips here). We got the regular chicken wrap, we told the guy making it that it was our first time there and he didn't even charge us! Hubbs also got a strawberry drink (I tried the blueberry lavender drink which was SOOO good, I kinda want to get a big one and take it home to make cocktails.)The wraps are hard to split - but i just whacked it in half and it held up pretty well. Boy, did this sandwich HIT THE SPOT!! It had chicken, hummus, lettuce, tomatoes (another spread I can't remember) and what made this great was a bunch of Kalamata olives. WOW, fresh crunchy, chewy (all the textures and fresh flavors that were just a perfect light lunch). I could totally have eaten a whole one - but would have been stuffed, half was actually perfect.I thought the lamb meat and the spicy chicken options looked good too on the line as they were serving folks, but I will be hard pressed to order anything other than that chicken sandwich again, it was that good!!

Warm & cozy place! It has a good vibe & is elegant but not over the top fancy. A place for everyone!Friendly staff, easy online booking, spacious tables to fit all your appetizers & entrées. Clean & not a crammed restaurant. It's a bit small in regards to how many can dine at once, but keep in mind it is not a stand alone building. Only mentioning it because for sure make reservations! There's a parking lot close by, extra bonus. You might spend about $35+ per person if you consider entrées, appetizers, beverages, & tip. Hummus & the sigura borek were delicious! The entrées are a pretty good portion size. I had the Turkish Meatballs - ground lamb patties, rice, & veggies. I was happy to see the veggies were white beans! Others in my party had chicken tava, salmon kebabs, gyro, & a zucchini pancake. No complaints from us!Worth it, go here, you won't be disappointed.

I got the tandoori chicken wrap combo and the wrap is really good!My only complaint is they don't have unsweetened tea. I got the lemonade and it is too sweet so I want to mix with unsweetened tea but unfortunately they only have sweet tea.Fries is just okay. Will order the wrap alone next time

Walked right in and was seated for a party of 1! The ambiance was very nice. Christmas music playing in the background. Quiet enough to hear it. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Food: I ordered a few items for myself... tried the appetizer with 3 sides- hummus, tzatziki, and babaganoush with pita bread. The only one for me was the hummus. For my entree I ordered the beef swarma plate and upgraded my salad to a Greek salad for $3.95 extra. It came with green beans and rice as well. $17.95. Service was great. The owner, Matbolli ( I think that's how you spell it), came and made his rounds at tables and asked how everyone's experience was going. I told him my meat was a little over cooked and he brought me another order of medium cooked beef! That meat was PERFECT! IN ALL HAD A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE.

**Lots of real reviews, lots of fake reviews**I am shocked to see some of the reviews on here..Find out for yourself! It's Worth the try. I've had that place about a dozen times and it has not disappointed.I've only had the pies and sandwiches so far, and they are absolutely tasty. My favorite is the chicken shawarma (oh so juicy) and the Akawi pie (oh so cheesy). The staff is very friendly, and has been trying to hang on with this pandemic.I am sure that once the pandemic is over, they'll have even more tasty options on their menu!

Had a very good gyro. The lamb was very tender and flavorful. The Taziki Sauce lived up to the restaurant name! The pasta salad was good if you LOVE olives. I'd recommend you give it a try if you haven't been here yet.

Beef kabob plate -8/10 huge portion, beef was tender and perfect flavor, rice was tasty as well! Babaganoush- 7/10 portion was huge! You get a lot for the price and they cooked the meat in front of you fresh!

"The service was amazing. The moment we arrived we were greeted with warm smiles that felt so genuine. All of our questions were answered with patience. Jon was so amazingly nice and courteous. We ordered to go.Lamb shank: tender and savory with rice and eggplant. It was very tasty and not a drop was left behind.Four kebab: each were so tender and not a bit dry. Each very flavorful and even my very picky daughter ate it up. The salad lightly seasoned and fresh. Eggplant: very well seasoned and hit home. It was very nostalgic for me and reminded me of when I was little eating something so similar that made me smile with every bite.Dolma: just the right amount of flavoring and with every bite bursts with flavor. Was the right texture.Turkish tea: so light and not bitter. Very refreshing even on a hot day.Loved coming here by just the great aura Jon and staff gave. So warm and made you feel right at home. The food is great and has me craving for more! The ambiance is just amazing! Thank you again for making my day!"
"We were in Addison for the kid's swimming competition and decided to try this place since we were in the mood for something different from our usual routine. We went for lunch on a Sunday. We found street parking near the front entrance. The ambience of the restaurant is upscale-casual. Everything was clean and wiped down. There is nothing really "mediterranean" about the interior, but that did not matter. We were greeted by our server very soon after being seated. It took a few minutes to digest the menu since it is pretty extensive and everything looked enticing. The wife decided on babagonush for an app, while I tried the Turkish tea pot. The tea was really tasty, especially after adding a bit of honey for sweetness. I tried the babagonush and thought it was good with a smoky aftertaste, but the wife disagreed and thought it was a little bitter. But it's my review so I have the final say. It was smoky. It was a large portion so we could only finish about half. It comes with a good amount of pita bread. We were also given a cup of lentil soup, gratis. It needed some salt but basically was good. The wife and I decided to split a combo tower which is one skewer of chicken and one of ground beef. We decided a Greek salad and roasted veggies as our sides. Everything was spectacularly good. The beef was juicy, tender, and had wonderful seasoning. Delicious. The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a wonderful grilled flavor plus whatever marinade they used. Delicious. The roasted veggies were perfect. Delicious. The Greek salad was perfect. Delicious. Service was very attentive and helpful. A very pleasant young woman whose name I did not get but it stared with a M. She was great. Overall, I consider this place to be a real find. It is off the beaten track of Belt Line by a few blocks, but if you see this restaurant it is definitely worth a try."
"Take out deliveryEverything came in the order and packed well. Had the Manhattan Bowl and the Chicken Bowl, and a side of Garlic Fries Both were really good and just the right spice on each dish. It was more than enough for two people. Even had left overs. I recommend this place for take out and I plan on ordering from there again soon."
"Shout out to Moe's Gyro for their hummus and their Greek salad, two dishes that are absolutely essential in my life.. Moe's food is all so pretty and colorful and fresh. Their Greek salad is crunchy and filled with lots of veggies, and the dressing is so good and acidic. The hummus is that perfect velvety texture and super rich, it doesn't need anything but it goes with everything. Of course Jon enjoyed his gyro pita wrap and fries. The gyro didn't fall apart and the meat had great flavor, and the fries were crispy and salty. Shawarma is up next on my list."
"I've been here probably 5+ times now. Their rice, hummus, and grilled meats are so freaking good. Portion sizes are huge (prices reflect that). Chill dining experience, nice staff, perfect for takeout. Check this place out if you love Mediterranean!"
"This is my second time having Plaka's Greek Kitchen and it is definitely some of the best Greek food I've ever had. Their Gyro Wraps are amazing and so is the Falafel and hummus. Also want to mention the owner is extremely nice and provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend them!"
"So thrilled to have local, fresh Arab food in coppell! Great menu options and good quality."
"If you want to visit a place that's on par with the fine dining outfits in Dallas, head here. The food is great. We usually sit at the bar and do apps and a bottle of wine. Oh, if you like wine - you need to come here. Their list is EXTENSIVE."
"Pak A Pocket has been around since 1986 for a good reason - the food is high quality- fresh and delicious. It brings back memories of the insurance company I worked at right out of high school in..... - - wait for it... 1986! It was one of the only places around to snag lunch and we weren't mad about it. Not much has changed since - except for an occasional price increase - but who can blame them. Liz is still around to greet customers with a smile and the Wednesday special is still the taco Pocket - my favorite. If you haven't dropped by I highly recommend that you check it. Parking can be challenging during the lunch hour but the worst case scenario would be parking at the Valero. Best is to visit before noon or after 1:30."
"I loved this place! Love the concept, the service and food! In particularly the food, fresh, amazingly tasty, large portions, great experience! The restaurant is casual with semi-self-serving; you select your choice of meal at the entrance, salad, sandwich or platter. The platter comes with choice of 1 meat and up to 4 sides. Their prices are affordable, $10.99 to $18.99.As you enter, you encounter the menu printed in large, colorful print on the wall; the flow of the restaurant is circular counter with the fresh pita bread being the second encounter here. At this point, I am 100% hooked! If you look towards the back of the fresh pita offerings. you can see the oven where these magnificent breads are being baked! Oh my! What a perk! All platters, come with 2 pita breads! As you proceed down the counter, you can see the appetizer section, followed by the side choices, and finally the meat selection choices. Almost at the payment section at the end, there are some desserts and freshly baked offerings. The whole place was like a candy store but with delicious Mediterranee food! Amazing! You give your meal selections to the server, who will place the side dishes together on your plate, while the meat is served separately. This particular evening, I chose 1 meat platter with 4 sides! What can I say... I wanted to try it all in one sitting! My platter consisted of hummus, falafel salad, crisp cauliflower, rice, and chicken. I loved it! The portion for me was enough for 2 meals. I had leftovers for the next day! Loved Andalous Mediterranean Grill!"
"Was in the area with a friend and was looking for a place to grab a bite after a day of moving, and found Stop-n-Go. It's an inviting, casual space, which had a steady stream of customers collecting to-go orders when we dined. No surprises on the menu, everything was fairly standard but well made and tasted fresh. No complaints about anything we tried, which in my case was a shared appetizer of dolmas and greek fries, and a gyro plate that I took home with me. Overall, great fast casual spot, with fresh flavorful food."
"Food was very tasty and flavorful.Walk up counter to order and they text you when food is ready. Counter service was good and very helpful on menu selection.Food was good portion and packed well.I will be back for sure!"
"this place is pretty good I ordered a few things via Uber eats :1) borek cigar - pretty good but I think that it would be best to eat it hot right when it comes out . 3.6/52) kibbeh - I do prefer the version with a thinner wrap and not rice but it was still pretty good . The accompanying garlic sauce was great (3.9/5)3) iskindar- this is one of my favourite Turkish cuisine dishes . It was ok here - a little bit too dry (3.6/5)A descent Turkish food option here in Arlington"
"We stopped here for lunch on the way home from the kid's swimming competition in North Dallas. The restaurant had been closed for renovation but now is open (October 27, 2024).The ambience is clean and minimalist. Our server explained that they plan to get some plants and decorations that will spruce things up a bit. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday about noon. We seated ourselves and the waitress came shortly thereafter. The menu has all of the regular items you expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. The child had a starter of hummus and pita. The hummus was really good, lots of garlic and the right consistency. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad.I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. Prices were very reasonable."
"We came for the food, and it didn't disappoint. Amazing kitchen. Every meal was meticulously prepared and the flavors were awesome. Great staff. Crazy cool Halloween stuff going on, including live actors."
"Can I just say wow! This place is beautiful inside and out! It's right next to Al Amir making it look like it just came from the future or something lol. But really, it's beautiful and massive at the same time. I'd say comparable size to the Houston one but way fancier. There is no self parking so expect to pay valet (they take card) for $8. Even with the long lines, my car came in a few minutes so not bad.Inside is nice loungy ish with their massive chandeliers and low lit lighting. We opted to sit outside on covered patio since that's where the music is playing and most people are hanging out. We got seating quickly since we came on Saturday at 7pm, but if you come after 7:30ish, expect to wait in line. They do not take reservations unfortunately, so expect to wait accordingly. They put you on a waitlist which is always fun lol.The server came to our table at a decent time and was super friendly. All our food came out quickly including drinks and desserts. You do have to pay $3 for water bottles which is kind of annoying but apparently it's Fiji water. The mocktails are yum. I loved my shawarma fries (same as Houston) and I got the chicken tawook. All were delicious! I can't wait to come back soon!"
"Driving home from the airport, and wanted to get something for dinner. Its been a while since i last had halal guys and was craving some meat with rice. When i got here, it was really empty and when i ordered it was really quick, I was kinda surprised how fast my food was ready. I ended up getting a beef-lamb rice platter with only the white sauce. when i was walking out the store, the bag felt light and when i got home i was stunned on the portion size for the the price i paid. The price for a rice platter is about 13 bucks, and i don't think its completely worth it. As for the taste, i really enjoyed it. The rice was fluffy and the meat was juicy and tender. i should've asked for heavy white sauce on top of my food, cuz they also charge for extra to go sauces (red & white)I don't think i'll be back."
"Alright I will rate what I got, and my gyro plate was 10/10! I got the gyro with white rice and chickpeas, and told him to make it spicy. First of all, DO NOT SKIP ON ADDING CHICKPEAS! It's probably the best side they have. The gyro itself was juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Service was very quick and friendly, and this was at 11 pm so it stands for something! Definitely recommend checking it out!"
"Moe's Gyro is seriously awesome! The gyros are super tasty and packed with flavor, and they don't cost a fortune. The new spot is totally worth checking out if you're looking for some really good food without spending too much. If you're in the area, you gotta try it--trust me, you won't be disappointed!"
"Been to this place multiple times times. Great Mediterranean food! Great service from staff. They offer complimentary bread for starter. You can enjoy your meal in a great ambiance."
"Came here about a month ago from this review. Great food and great service. Plenty of seats. We ordered chicken shawarma plate and the beef kifta kabob plate with a side of hummus. The hummus and pita breads are so addicting. A plate is enough to share among 2 people. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're near by."
"Amazing service and delicious food will definitely be coming back here again. I love the healthy options and the environment was super clean and friendly!!"
"Wow, if I lived in Dallas this would be the goto for shawarma. Delicious and a fabulous portion of food that am struggling to finish. I ate in and the restaurant was clean and orderly. The fountain drinks provided extra refills and I ordered a meal with a Lebanese salad expecting a little bowl and it's a whole plate. There is no way you can walk away from a combo plate feeling hungry. Monday thru Friday from 11-3pm you can get any plate for 11.99. This place is a fantastic deal for lunch and dinner."
