"We stopped here for lunch on the way home from the kid's swimming competition in North Dallas. The restaurant had been closed for renovation but now is open (October 27, 2024).The ambience is clean and minimalist. Our server explained that they plan to get some plants and decorations that will spruce things up a bit. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday about noon. We seated ourselves and the waitress came shortly thereafter. The menu has all of the regular items you expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. The child had a starter of hummus and pita. The hummus was really good, lots of garlic and the right consistency. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad.I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. Prices were very reasonable."

"We had the fiery chicken tacos, the K-beef tacos, the Birria tacos and the loaded fries with chicken tenders.The loaded fries and fiery chicken tacos were a hit! I wish there was more chicken tenders in the fries though. The K beef tacos were super flavorful but were difficult to eat as a taco as there was more filling than taco shell. It looked like it was a bunch of beef on a plate but then I realized it was the taco."

"Honestly, I thought this was just a butcher shop with Halal cuts when I was passing by. However, they actually have a lil restaurant inside too. Not gonna lie - they serve really good Halal Mexican food. My husband & I ordered birria tacos & a smoked jerk chicken taco bowl, & they didn't disappoint! The food was made fresh to order, & the spices were just right - hot, yet full of flavor. Staff were also nice too. Will definitely order from here again."

Goat portion was small for the price ($21); lots of bones and fatty pieces with very little meat. Also VERY greasy. And VERY spicy. Palak paneer was tasty and more fairly priced for the portion. Also had butter chicken. Again, tasty but a very small amount of (5 small chunks) to sauce ratio. We like some spice but most dishes were just way too spicy for us. The naan was delicious, light and fluffy. The buffet also looked very fresh and plentiful so maybe we'd try that next time."

The store was clean and well organized. They had an excellent selection of teas, as well as spices, and produce. This is pretty much what I am looking for in specialty markets. The meat is halal and they have a freezer FULL flatbreads."

"hidden gem for sure. I stopped here on my way home and ordered a gyro wrap and a beef shawarma plate. The wrap was simple but really tasty, and for 5.99 it didn't break the bank. The plate also came with one pita bread, rice, salad and hummus/baba ghanouj and tzatziki dip. It was a lot of food and also tasty. I didn't order ahead, but it took about 10 mins for them to make my food. They also have a store that sells other misc middle eastern items/foods. They also sell hookah items as well. I actually asked them for extra baba ghanouj, but he told me they sold out, and told me to buy the package baba ghanouj and i'm glad i did. it didn't have the smoky taste as their fresh made baba ghanouj, but it was still good. I'll definitely come back if i'm craving Mediterranean food. This place is located behind natural grocers."

"Originally-I came here because I loved Breezeway cafe and didn't know that it's been replaced but I thought I'd give this spot a try. I'm glad I did because the food is delicious. The Dal Gosht is spicy and flavorful. The goat was so tender and just fell of the bone. Veg samosas and the two chutneys they come with was so flaky and the potato filling had a spectacular flavor and crisp. Also got the healthy barbecue bowl with chicken malai boti which had a specific taste that I couldn't pinpoint but my boyfriend still liked it. It was so tender and spicy. And it's served over the fluffiest rice. The staff is also so nice and patient with some of my questions. I found this place to be a great surprise. They serve good portions for an affordable price. Would definitely come back here."

"In Texas for the weekend and the family is going to go all in on BBQ this entire trip. So before we embark on that journey I just wanted something different. I stumbled upon this spot as a restaurant close to me from a Yelp search. Saw the reviews and said lets give it a shot. This place did not disappoint. Very family oriented vibe but was super welcoming as I pulled up solo. The greeter was very pleasant and it was open seating so i just grabbed a table and sat down.Went through the menu but I already had an idea of what I wanted to try. The waitress was very nice. Took my order and this begins my journey....For starters we have Lamb broth soup. Soup came out steaming hot. Delicious!! This soup set the tone for the rest of the experience. Then we follow up with Chicken hanith as the entree. People ...the seasoning and spices within this dish were so flavorful. I literally had to stop myself from finishing the plate because I knew I had ordered dessert. Which brings me to the final stages of this already excellent meal.Dessert is Areeka....phenomenal. I honestly thought it was going to be too sweet for my tastes based off the presentation but the balance in that dish was unreal. It was just sweet enough. Now it is obvious that these dishes could be/ought to be shared.....but I could've eaten that meal in its entirety. It was that good. Will definitely be going back and the next time I will be trying the lamb. Great people, great food, great time!!"

"Service is for sure 5 stars. The gentleman that helped me out with a togo order was very helpful. It was going to be 15-20 mins for my order so I ran across the street to grab something while I waited, he ended up seeing me pull back up and he went ahead and brought my order to my car! Plus, gave me a few pointers on trying out their first sauce to test for heat level tolerance and reminding me to give it a few mins to cool due to them being fresh. They only have chicken and pork options right now. I had a number of people tell me they had veggie ones before I got the chance to visit, but apparently they were having some quality control issues with veggie so they have stuck with the two they have now. I do hope they bring the veggie one back! My husband enjoyed the ones we did get and he said he would keep it in his rotation for lunch stops, especially due to it not being to far for him to go."

"If you're looking for a great little restaurant that will give you a taste of the NYC street food then you've come to the right place. The prices are very fair and the food was really good! Good portions sizes as well. The owners are very sweet and go out of their way to help you and provide great customer service. They definitely want to make sure you had a good experience. The ambiance is pretty chill and gives off some NYC vibes but way cleaner than NYC haha. All in all I'd definitely recommend family, friends, visitors and the likes to come and eat here. You won't be disappointed . One warning, beware of the hot sauce! Hahaha it is legit very hot . Have fun and enjoy!"

"I have buyers remorse currently. I stopped in there on my way to do something else and I saw the pastries in the case. They look much better than they taste. I ordered a butterscotch and pineapple pastry. The butterscotch was not moist, it was a bit dry. The pineapple was a little bit more moist however both pastries tasted like they had freezer burn ruining the whole experience. I'm really disappointed because their presentation is amazing."
