"I took my husband here for a special occasion during our vacation with our daughter. He wanted some place a little bit upscale, but sticking with the southern bbq theme which dominated our vacation. The ambiance is upscale rustic with dim lighting without being considered romantic. It was definitely a cool feel. Our server was very nice and attentive answering our questions and even playing with our toddler. Kids were definitely welcome here even though it clearly wasn't their marketed crowd. We sat at a booth and ordered a few drinks and appetizer to start. We got the fried green tomatoes. They were absolutely delicious! The breading was crispy and the bacon jam enhanced the salty/savory flavor profile. We were incredibly surprised by how good they were. For my entree, I got the baby back ribs. They were fall off the bone with smokey, savory flavors. It was very good. It was very good and came with sides of cornbread and mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was standard good, but the cornbread was delicious. The perfect pairing of sweet and savory while being moist. It was very good! Plus, you got all that food for around $23. I was left feeling very full. During our dinner, I had to use the bathroom and everything was clean and well maintained. You know if the bathrooms are clean, they must care about cleanliness. We were very happy with our time here and I recommend if you are in the area."
"Jayna was a wonderful server! She was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to make our experience great. Sunday buffet was delicious with a great price. Lots of different options at the buffet: taco/omelet station, savory meats, breakfast/lunch options, sweets. Absolutely worth checking out."

"I don't visit my friends and family in Mansfield often (it's been 10 years), and we try different places but Our Place is the only place we have breakfast. The ambiance is delightfully cozy. They've freshed and expanded it in the decade since I was last there; all my favorite decor items were still there, still fresh looking among the newer things. And they all looked so good together. The wait staff is friendly and prompt and super helpful. And the food is always good. The last time I was there - 10 years ago - I had the pancakes and eggs with bacon and I still remember it. A whole decade later. Good food. They've changed the menu slightly but all my favorites are still there. This time, we ate there twice. Saturday morning, I chose the Texas Waffle plate, with eggs and bacon. And this time, they served the coffee in pottery mugs, lovely large pottery mugs. And they sold them. I got the dark blue one and will enjoy it and the memory of the people working there - hopefully not for another whole decade. I might return sooner. But until then, I have the lovely mug.We also ate there Sunday, before I returned home. This time, I had one of hte mini breakfasts - 1 egg, 1 piece of bacon, and 1 biscuit - plenty to see me off on my return journey. As always - delightful waitstaff, prompt, helpful, friendly, and the food hot and fresh, well prepared and delicious. The best parts haven't changed in a decade and I hope they last decades longer."
"What went well? Service-Prompt, Attentive Food-Brussels and Wagyu burger was delicious! Ambiance-Pleasant"
"Service was top notch and the food was wonderful! The whole experience was lovely for a rare Sunday morning breakfast out. They kept our drinks filled and our order was ready quickly.Pancakes, eggs, bacon and very berry French toast--so yummy!"
"We loved the ambiance of this restaurant! The decor was on point and the vibes were right up our alley! This place is a hidden gem in McKinney, and we can't wait to bring friends and family here. It's the perfect spot to hangout and grab drinks. The food wasn't spectacular- it's just your typical bar food, nothing super unique about it. Service and ambiance were a 10/10! Can't wait to come back!"
"Interesting looking place! Had live music and open mike! Really liked their outdoor area. Had a great salad with grilled chicken! It was a nice portion as well! The young lady that took our order was very helpful since we had not been there before."
"We came for a team dinner for 13, ironically at Table 13 :P. The table was setup and we got to sit right away. Very clean modern looking restaurant with some gorgeous chandelier hanging around. They offer a bunch of drinks including some excellent wine collection. We got to try a variety of appetizers among which I loved the deviled eggs and lobster bisque. For entree I had the filet mignon with risotto. I sort of wanted more flavor on my streak, I felt was little crusty as well. Risotto was too bland. At the end I had the creme brûlée, that was really good. Throughout the night service was amazing. Our glasses were constantly filled with our drinks. Plates were replaced as we went from appetizers to entree. Food came out in good pace. Other than slight disappointment with steak, I pretty much liked everything about this place."
"Excellent everything! Had the omelette, super fresh and filling, my daughter had the Nutella banana French toast and I it was so good, I had to copy down the ingredients so I can make it at home. Heather was our server and she was a riot! So fun and spunky! Highly recommend!"
"I absolutely adore State & Allen. I order GLUTEN FREE fried chicken (almost) everyday, and it is made to perfection.Big thank you to Manager Nick and bartender Tyler who go above and beyond to connect with me personally and remember specificities about my order. It makes you feel extremely cared about and special when someone who deals with of hundreds of people a week goes the extra mile for you. So thank you!! (Nick)The food is delicious, and I love going on a Sunday after church. Thank you again for the exceptional service."
"Bad food, bad service, high prices, poor quality food .. We got the brisket tacos ($16), cajun shrimp + avocado($20), and the parmesan truffle fries. The brisket was super dry and the taco itself was even more dry. It came with a side of corn that was made from frozen corn and was tasteless, too. The cajun shrimp + avocado dish barely had any avocado in it and it also came on a bed of tasteless frozen corn. The parmesan fries were the best thing we ordered but they came out room temperature. Our server didn't come to our table until 15+ minutes after we were seated. Another server was busy chit chatting with his friends and kept his table waiting for long periods at a time because he was distracted. The ambience was pretty nice but all the other downsides are definitely going to keep us from coming back here unless there is a family gathering or birthday we are invited to. Pro's : Has a good amount of parking, easy to find, good location if you live in Coppell."
"Well, I have now been to a Chili Parlor! Didn't really know what one was, but now I am in on the secret!Pretty much this place is much more than just Chili, but Chili is definitely the theme here. The walls are adorned with pictures of the founder Frank, his Chili competitions, a couple "specials" boards, and a few neons. Combining those things with the antique interior brick walls and it is a neat ambiance. Today I tried the Chili Enchiladas. They were really good, but honestly they were a bit overkill and I probably wouldn't get them again. My server Dulce was super efficient and did a great job.I definitely will be back, I want to try some other things on their menu..."

Stopped by for weekend brunch and we had a really nice time! I can't remember our server's name, but he was a lovely college man with a great attitude. I started with a delicious Guava Jalapeno Margarita. Highly recommend as it was very refreshing in the hot summer weather. Foodwise, tried the following: Mini Elk Tacos - very tasty, but I would never be able to tell it was elk if the menu didn't say it was. The other flavors covered the elk too much making it a bit disappointing.Barbacoa Chilaquiles - the absolute worst chilaquiles my guy and I have ever had in our lives. Extremely soggy chips, which is unfortunate because the barbacoa was delicious. We actually ended up sending it back because it was too gross to eat (note: this is definitely not how chilaquiles should be despite what the kitchen staff says).Wagyu Pastrami Hash - this was insanely good! Such a unique and delicious dish! We could not get enough of it. The flavors were perfectly balanced and complimented one another in every way. Would come back here for the guava jalapeno margarita and the wagyu pastami hash for sure!

A friend offered to take me to dinner wherever I wanted as a thank you for helping him with some business strategy. Not wanting to head all the way into Dallas, I opted for Verf's, which I knew would be a reliable pick closer to home. Although it was Mardi Gras when we went, we got a quiet booth in a back corner behind the bar area and were able to enjoy a long conversation over a great meal. I ordered the Verf's chicken, which is garnished with hatch chilies, roasted corn and black beans. It comes with garlic mashed potatoes (my favorite carb) and asparagus. My friend had the ribeye, which comes with the same sides, and said the steak was cooked perfectly. We also split dessert--crème brûlée with blueberries, which was plenty large for two people. As I'd hoped, my friend was very impressed with the restaurant and said it was a great choice. I'll have to come up with some more clever business ideas so we can make a return visit.

Our Place is located off Debbie near the FM 157 in Mansfield, serving great breakfast and brunch in a lovely environment with plentiful food choices for the whole family. We visited this fine establishment on a Sunday right after the brunch rush and had to wait a couple of minutes in the waiting area to be seated. The interior is well decorated, and there is an abundance of tables and chairs to sit at for families and large groups. We were seated, and our drink orders were placed along with menus that were provided to our table. We went ahead and ordered a black coffee to start the day off right along with the chicken fried chicken that came with vegetable soup and a choice of 2 sides. We also ordered pancakes, bacon, and 2 over medium eggs. We ordered a kids' plate of macaroni and cheese and fries. Our server came and brought a basket of freshly baked bread with muffins. The chicken fried chicken was perfectly battered and deep-fried golden to perfection. It was smothered in a creamy gravy, and the chicken was well-seasoned and moist. The vegetable soup was flavorful and complemented the dish very well. The bacon was crispy while the pancakes were fluffy and soft. The eggs were cooked just right with the perfect amount of ooze coming from the yolks. The macaroni and cheese was definitely cheesy, and my daughter enjoyed the dish quite well. The star of the show was the baked bread and muffins. They were nice and warm and airey, and I found myself devouring every piece of bread along with the churned butter. Our Place was a terrific place to eat for a Sunday brunch, and our family enjoyed it very much. The customer service provided was top-notch, while the staff worked effortlessly to get guests in and seated. The food quality and service were outstanding, and the prices were fair and affordable. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying something new but most of all to get my hands on the freshly baked bread.

Press Cafe in Fort Worth is an absolute gem! I tried the avocado toast with scrambled egg, and it was fantastic. The combination of creamy avocado, fresh radishes, and juicy tomatoes on perfectly toasted sourdough bread was a flavor explosion. The scrambled egg added a nice touch of protein and made the dish even more satisfying. The service was equally impressive. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Another plus was the convenient parking--a rare and much-appreciated feature in many spots around Fort Worth.Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a delicious and thoughtfully prepared meal in a welcoming atmosphere. There are also some shopping areas nearby which was fun to explore.

I feel like there must have been a change in ownership. The service is less personalized. The former owner/manager Raymond used to welcome us by name. We would ask for specific changes (for example we prefer our eggs not be cooked with butter) and they were accommodating. Now they're unwilling or can't figure out how to cook eggs without butter. Servers are busy and as such the experience seems rushed and less friendly than it was in the past. I hope they are able to rediscover the magic they had under the old owners when my wife and I would go once or twice a week.

The place was busy, it's a seat-yourself kind of place. The vibe is very lively and jolly, the current theme is Tinsel town, some employees are wearing Christmas outfits. The Grinch came by and went to say hi to the kids. The alcoholic beverages were pretty good, they don't skimp on the alcohol for sure! I ordered the Serrano ceasar salad, it was a little spicy and sweet. I added blackened Salmon which is a little bit on the salty side( I think i prefer the original Caesar salad ). My son likes his burger with bbq sauce , fried onion and bacon. Hubby had the dirty dog which he likes, I didn't care much for the chili sauce that came with it, had a little bit much cumin I think. Our Server was very friendly and she made sure to check on us . The live music was an added bonus. I would definitely come back again, the place and the vibe is pretty fun.

This is one of the cutest places in DFW. Murals, plants everywhere, vintage furniture, huge patio, just asking you to take photos for ig.It's good for a first date because you can meet for coffee and if it goes well, maybe you have dinner. If it goes really well, you can continue and have drinks. It's park style so you order at a counter and then get texted to come get your food. Everyone is crazy friendly, helpful, and trying to get you to stick around as long as possible.Live music on the weekend, and there's a ton of parking praise the lord Cocktails look good, but who cares they have blantons at a decent price.

Highly recommend the mahi lunch! It's served on a bed of mashed potatoes and asparagus and has a great citrusy taste. We also tried the deviled eggs here for an appetizer but didn't love them. Overall it's a good lunch sitting in the middle of Addison.

"Great little place for breakfast there daily specials are really affordable service was on point food arrived quickly"
"This evening I met my best friend and his soon to be wife for a late lunch/early dinner. As they are in town for the weekend, I wanted to show them what I considered to be what is one of DFW's most scenic restaurants. Sitting right atop of Lake Carolyn's beautiful waterfront, Pacific Table has a beautiful and inviting ambiance. The hostess was absolutely lovely, professional, and attentive. Without a reservation we were sat quickly. The service was excellent. Louis was ultra professional. He demonstrated an excellent demeanor, knowledge of the menu, and candor that were reminiscent of some of the places I used to be a GM of. Places that were 3X more the price. Excellent service. Post dinner, the bar service has been incredible. Zoey and Julia, demonstrate professionalism, are quick on their feet, and an uncanny ability to multitask. The bar is excellent, and no wonder it's "full."Anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in Las Colinas, should come here. This restaurant has actually been a factor of mine to move from Turtle Creek in Dallas, to here."
"My last visit to Babe's was to transport their amazing Fried Chicken Dinner to my mom in Wimberley. She loves their chicken so I ordered a few dinners and picked them up. They are efficient and quick to get your order out to you.Anyways, if you transport the chicken open the box to let it cool faster and so the crust on the chicken doesn't sweat.I have a cooler ready to pack everything in once it cools off. The dinners arrived about 4 hours later and Mom is so funny, she ate the chicken cold for 2 days and know the sides warmed up really well. When your mama craves Babe's, you make it happen!"
"Delicious food, quick service. Clean restaurant and relaxed atmosphere. Lots of great options for food as well."
"Food is always superior! Service is friendly and attentive. Good ambiance, very attractive place, but it is loud!"
"Stumpy's Lakeside Grill: A Five-Star Gem by the LakeI am a seasoned foodie and can honestly say that Stumpy's Lakeside Grill is top-notch! This restaurant is located by the waters of Lake Granbury. It's a delightful culinary experience that keeps attracting us back for lunch and dinner. The food and the lake view at this place never disappoint; this is no exaggeration.First things first; let us talk about burgers. These are not your typical shapeless pieces of meat but rather juicy works of art that come with your choice of toppings from their burger bar. Fries are always golden and crispy but perfectly soft in the middle. Furthermore, their fresh, warm, self-serve tortilla chips - made complete with two salsa options are a nice bonus. In my opinion, the addition of queso to their menu would undoubtedly shoot this place into legendary status!Dining at Stumpy's involves the use of all senses. Our favorite tables are located outside where we can view geese and ducks glide across the lake's surface amid its astounding beauty. My daughter also loves feeding them and asks to go see the "quack-quack ducks" all the time. After dining here, you must visit the sweet shop. What I can tell you is that there is nothing like their homemade cupcakes or cookies- they taste so good! Also, make sure to check out the front area that has a gift shop. Our daughter has picked out a cute stuffed animal on several occasions. These are the small things that make this place extra special. One small piece of advice though; it gets crowded at times so whenever possible ensure to arrive early or on weekdays before 5 PM. Planning is advisable given the experience one gets at Stumpy's if visiting during popular hours or on the weekend.Their staff has always been nice each time we go which adds more to the friendly feeling that welcomes everyone who enters Stumpy's.We stumbled upon Stumpy's while looking for a place to eat using Yelp and since then it has been one of our favorite places in Granbury. This is a five-star paradise situated by the lake offering scrumptious meals, top-quality service, and amazing scenery. Make sure not to miss out on this delightful dining experience!Yum!!!"
"@ Vickery Cafe there's always a space for you Great Service Great Food My First Choice"
"Service was phenomenal. Our waitress could not have been nicer or attentive. Our son they gave him beads and brought out his food fast . I enjoyed the po boy sandwich. Rest had salmon dishes. Known for drinks to share ! Like the tables of Formica."
"Hands down, best comfort food I've ever had. Everything was so good! I cannot wait to share this place with my family and friends. It's a little out-of-the-way but so worth it. Perfect excuse for a road trip.I had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese. My daughter had the mac & cheese burger with sweet potato waffle fries. Everything was delicious including the ice tea with crushed ice. Perfect."
"This was our first visit to the new NRH location. The food was better than I remember. My wife and I had the chicken fried steak and my daughter the fried chicken, accompanied by mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, gravy, and biscuits. The meat and sides were great. The decor is redneck as it gets, with an added Christmas pop for the holidays. ;-) The service was excellent, no complaints. The only thing preventing me from returning too soon is my waistline. But we'll be back eventually."
"From our lovely server to the food, this place was really good. We are Houstonians and was in town for a family wedding. We did a few reviews and so glad we did not pass this place up. We had the Mexican and Meat omelette, Pancakes and Eggs, kids oatmeal and OJ! Food came out quick and place was packed on our way out! The best part of it was a kind family paid for our tab! Wow! #payitforward!"
"the food and service is wonderful! the chicken, eggs, and greens were exceptionally seasoned!"
"When i first moved to TX, i really wanted to check this place out. We actually rented an Airbnb for a few weeks before settling down in FW and the airbnb was walking distance from this restaurant. First off, i don't think you're allowed to park in the small parking lot. It's 100% valet. There's street parking if you want, but the valet is complementary and they work off tips. We made reservations, which i would recommend. We ended up getting the Grilled bone marrow, smoked salmon rillettes, prime beef tartare for the starters. We added one burrata salad and get the grilled duck breast to share between two people. We also ordered a side of carrots and finished the night with a strawberry cheesecake. Even though, the bone marrow was listed as one of the favorite items, i think i would skip it next time. It was really greasy and for the amount of marrow you get, i don't think it was really worth it. The star of the show was the burrata salad and the duck breast. The salad was really simple and the duck breast was juicy and tender. I also really enjoyed the carrots with goat cheese. The service was great, and they kept coming by asking if we needed anything and kept our drinks full.Definitely recommend checking this place out for a night out or a special occasion."
"It's been sittin' here for a while without us getting around to trying it, but finally did today and it's good reviews are deserved. The chicken is a tiny bit spicy, just a pinch, and is big and tender. The crust is good, not too much and not too little. I got the Love Me Tender, and despite bein' a growin' boy, I actually couldn't finish it, so the portions are very nice. The potato salad was really good, but being a side-lover, I personally could have gone with a tad less chicken in favor of a bit more side, but it's fine. The biscuits are large enough to turn out as actual sandwich "buns", so they are very big and nice quality. Service and atmosphere is great (had enough country music to do me for a year or two). Anyway, recommended!"
"I didI've been going her for forever and have even brought major nonprofit events to the venue. From my understanding it is dog friendly but tonight my poor rescue was verbally attacked and approached in a threatening manner for simply being a scared puppy. They cussed at her and threw things at me for combating the situation. Disgusting. Yet it was allowed. I did talk to Chris about it later and he was wonderful as always and supportive. The Beardon's are genuinely some of the best people, and he was supportive as always when he heard about the situation. I will always patron and support their establishments."
"Met a friend here for dinner before heading to the Juneteenth celebration. I don't recall the server's name but she was thorough and checked in on us regularly. I ordered an apple Gorgonzola side salad as an appetizer and my friend ordered fried pickles. For my entree, I had the half size of brisket nachos and a frozen mango margarita to wash it down with. I was really surprised with the amount of meat was on the nachos. I did have to request more queso and wish that it had been seasoned. Overall, an affordable nice place to check out for lunch or dinner."
"Loved this place! This place came highly recommended to me so I had to give them a try. I had a little time while getting a new battery installed in a car and so I gave them a try.Upon first entering the ambiance was very pleasant. They were very busy and yet the noise level was such we were able to visit comfortably. Typical cafe type setting, but pleasant. The star of this place is the service and the food.Noah, our waiter gave us great service. He was on top of our experience and was a big part of making the total meal experience a great one.I ordered the pancake combo breakfast. It came with 2 eggs cooked to order, a breakfast meat, hash browns or home fried potatoes, and of course pancakes! It was all really good! Also at our table was a BLT Sandwich and the Tuscan Grilled Cheese. Everyone was really happy with their meals. I don't live close, so probably won't be a regular, but certainly won't hesitate to come back when I am in Denton at a meal time!"
"It was our first time and we had a great experience. Our server was awesome and provided great service. We ordered quiet a few items to try and they were all really good. We started out with mix green salad and the lobster dip with chips. I would just come back to get that salad, the dressing was delicious! We also ordered the filet mignon and the Chilean sea bass. Both dishes were delicious and came out with the right temp. The environment was nice and quiet. Overall, I would recommend this place for any special celebration or just a place to chill and eat."
"Great delicious food! Love the weekend specials, one savory the other sweet. Yum! Our favorite server is Kiley. 5 Stars!!!!!"
"This little place was a recommendation by a company on the same area while my husband and I were in Fort Worth getting some equipment calibrated so we thought we would give it a try. I'd rather eat somewhere local versus a chain restaurant. The parking lot is tight so be ready to squeeze into a space if you have a large vehicle. The restaurant is a quaint little pocket with plenty of seating. I love the open ceiling and the lighting a lot, there are both booth & table seating available as well there looks to be a room off to the side for large groups. We were sat pretty quickly and our waitress was right there to greet us with menus. She gave us time to look at the menu but we knew we needed hot coffee and hot chocolate so that was quickly remedied. The menu had a lot of really great options including healthy ones, my husband was eyeing the Cowboy Omelet but went for something he would usually have it was labeled Dads Breakfast. The pancakes with it were huge he didn't even finish them but said everything was good. Me, I had the Country Skillet, it's a nice take on biscuits and gravy with hash browns tucked underneath I had over hard eggs on top (I don't like runny eggs ) and got a additional biscuit because they give you another choice of a bread item to go with it. The biscuit by itself was super tasty. I really liked this dish I figured we wouldn't stop on the way home so wanted something that would keep me filled until we got home. I definitely think this is a great little place I hope this helps others not familiar with it to give it a shot. They do have a lunch menu but I didn't take a picture of that side."
"Oh my goodness. We have been wanting to go here for a while but they were closed for repairs or something. When we passed by one day we saw that they were open and had to try it out.I love kimchi. Kimchi is love, kimchi is life. So when I saw the Kimchi burger I was immediately drawn to it. I'm not a burger fan, so at first I was skeptical to try a burger with kimchi and take the risk of the kimchi not being great. With my husband cheering me on to try it, I ordered it.We sat down, and our orders were brought to us. My goodness guys. These burgers were the size of my head. The pictures I took do not do them justice. We are staring at these two behemoths and don't even know how to start. One thing I do want to suggest is maybe giving us like a knife or asking if we wanted it cut in half. Maybe there were knives somewhere but I just didn't see, but I will definitely be asking for it to be cut next time! This burger was perfection. The kimchi was amazing, the burger was tender and juicy. The only bad thing is, I couldn't even finish 1/4 of it. Well is that a bad thing? I asked for to go boxes and ate the rest throughout the day. Literally a meal that fed me all day. The staff=amazing. The burgers and fries=fantastic. The atmosphere=chill and I was boping with the music.I will return to try more items from the menu, why would I not?!"
"Great spot to celebrate a special occasion or just to enjoy a nice meal. The menu changes with what is in season. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. The overall atmosphere is nice and inviting, fancy but not intimidating. Will definitely be going to to try more dishes."
"Visited Mac's on Main for Restaurant Week! Their 3 course menu was $49/pp.Our server recommended the hibiscus martini which was fabulous! Highly recommend and the flower itself is also edible - reminded me of eating lychee. For apps, both their salads are great, especially their summer salad.Their prime rib is phenomenal! Very tender and accompanied by a dressed baked potato. If you have to decide anything from the menu, you need to try the lamb chops! Their lamb chops are some of the best I've ever had, and it comes with cheesy scallop potatoes. We had the apple galette with cinnamon ice cream and key lime pie for dessert. Both were good but nothing outstanding.Overall, I would definitely come back for their drinks/main entrees!"
