For Heaven's Cake

Going to start off by saying that the cake was okay however, the outside of the cake was horrible. This bakery based on the reviews was not my first choice, the cake was a gift from my sons grandparents and I let them order from wherever they wished. We showed and sent pictures to the team when we placed the cake order and although its similar, the person who decorated my sons cake seemed to have not cared about perfection? The rope around is ashy and crumbling, the 2 on top of the cake looks like playdough and crumbling, that woody hat wow not sure how they thought that was a good final product, the buzz and woody on top were not even printed in a good quality and were blurry and pixilated. The cake is usually the star of your party and we were definitely upset that was not the case for our sons 2nd birthday. We did not order our cake from a new baker, this is a cake business and this is the product they are proud to deliver to customers?

The cake tasted good, but it was not what I ordered. I wasn't able to check it because my husband picked it up right before our party, and based on the many good photos on the website I thought the bakery was capable of following the photos I sent and my instructions. I ordered this cake and I specified rose gold frosting, not orange. I asked for letters in this font. I got an orange cake with letters in a totally different, amateur looking font. As you can see, the colors don't match the cake I asked for. Several people at the party asked me if I made the cake myself. I didn't want to spend $125 on a professional cake to be asked if I made the cake. Like I said, it tasted good, but if you're ordering from For Heaven's Cake, please check it before accepting it. They may totally disregard your requests like they did to me!

The cakes are always amazing and fresh. Dawn and her team are phenomenal to work with. They've always done our birthday cakes, did our wedding cake, and now baby shower!

I just had a cake made for my adult son's birthday. As a child of three, he wanted only a toy robot for Christmas. Working from a picture of the robot, the artists at "For Heavens Cake" created a wonderful fondant replica of the robot to top a fabulous birthday cake. It was chocolate, with raspberry filling and white butter cream frosting - delicious. Great job!

Furious, I paid $40 for 8 cupcakes and only got 6 that don't even look professionally made, rather look like a Pinterest fail! The frosting tastes like Betty Crocket canned frosting, and looks like a six year old piped it! Looks like I will be scraping them clean and making my own dang frosting. I DON'T recommend this place. Will be my first and last order!

If you are looking for a small local bakery "For Heaven's Cake" is a place that is a must try.Let me start by saying how wonderful the customer service is at "For Heaven's Cake". Every time I have walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome right away. They make you feel like you are family the moment you walk in, which is a plus. They are very good with my kids as well who is very indecisive when it comes to picking out a cake or anything at that matter. They are patient and make sure we get exactly what we ask for and that it is everything plus more to make the kids dreams come true. They always answer any questions you have about any products thoroughly and are very knowledgeable about all of their product. Dawn, the owner is super sweet and makes sure we are happy with everything before we leave out the door. You always can tell customer satisfaction is always her main concern, which makes for great business success because she always goes out of way to make sure we are beyond happy with our order. We have been using this bakery for years for many different products like, cakes, hot cocoa bombs, cookies, and fresh loaves of bread. I have tried many big-name bakeries and always end right back here at "For Heaven's Cake". It was one of the best decisions to shop at a small local business. The cakes are beyond delicious. They taste so fresh even if you pick up first thing that morning and are having an afternoon party. They are very moist never have gotten a dry cake from this bakery. My absolute favorite that i have gotten is the strawberry cake with strawberry filling with buttercream icing. The decorations were beyond perfected and was done with so much detail it looked very realistic. The sky has been no limit for these ladies at this bakery because my kids have gone in with some crazy idea. They are all beyond talented and make everything look flawless every time. From my 10-year-old descendants' cake to a rainbow cake, and even a smash cake shaped into a dinosaur egg, they have been phenomenal. With the dinosaur egg smash cake, they even took it as far to put play dinosaurs in the cake itself so when my little one smashed it, he was surprised with dinosaurs. Both the smash cake and the regular cake was beyond fabulous, from the taste to the details that was put into it. Not often at other bakeries can you get the best of both worlds, taste and looks, but here they have never disappointed. Along with cake we usually order cookies. Every batch of cookies has been flawless, they just melt in your mouth. They aren't overly sweet like most but the perfect amount of sweetness. As well with cookies they are perfectly decorated if you order the decorated ones. Every winter I come to this bakery for my hot cocoa bombs. I have tried several others and they did NOT meet the expectations like "For Heaven's cake." They are so delicious my kids call them "Heaven" bombs, because they said they taste like heaven. The homemade loaf of breads at this bakery are so fresh and delicious. You can tell they are made fresh daily. My absolute favorite is the jalapeño cheddar bread. It is made with the perfect ratio where the jalapenos aren't overpowering, Rather you just have a sweet tooth and needing something sweet, or you have an upcoming event you should give this bakery a try you will not be disappointed. They for sure will make sure you get taking care of and every need is fulfilled. It is nice to have these small local businesses here in Houston, they will always get my support. Furthermore, it is also nice to support this local bakery.

Cake started falling apart not even 5 minutes after picking it up. The ear fell off of stitch. The donut fell off messing up the writing at the bottom. Wasn't even a mile up Jones. You can see huge pixels from the printer in both stitch and angel as well. We asked for pictures once the cake was made in which we didn't receive. As well as a last minute notice on when the cake was ready. We left and came back not even 10 minutes after picking up the cake to get it fixed but the shop was already closed. Was told nothing could be done until Monday. Can't have a 9 year old birthday party without cake so we had to figure something out quick and inconveniently. Paid over $120 for the cake just to still end up ha to go out of our way and spend more money to fix it. Was also blamed for the cake falling apart. Mind you, 1. Jones is a paved flat road and not a dirt one. 2. As you can see in the picture, the saran wrap was still attached and untampered. Still haven't been contacted in regards of fixing the situation. This establishment is very hard to get into contact with; poor communication.It's very sad and unfortunate that the owner shows no concern over quality, while making up lies and excuses to cover up poor customer service. Your claims of me reaching out after hours are completely false. Yesterday you called me at 11:34 I called back within 30 minutes and of course no answer. You never tried to reach back out once more. Mind you it's a weekday and people have jobs! That's how I was able to waste my money on your products and services. I have screenshots of my call log and text messages of your slow and poor concerns. I picked it up after i was made aware it was done, hadn't even seen the cake yet. We pulled out of the shopping center and the cake started falling apart. We turned right back around. We never declined it being fixed! Be for real and stop lying, you just have horrible service and even more horrible cakes! Ruined a 8 year olds birthday and you're making excuses, you definitely will be hearing from me again.

They did a Great job & fast! Matched my vision perfectly And tasted really good as well.

Scammers! They threw a cake together and charged us upfront! I see why their shop is run down because their HORRIBLE customer service can't pay the bills!!

For Heaven's Cake always does an amazing job on all of my kid's birthday cakes, cookies, cupcakes, etc. My son's nerf cupcakes and cookies were beautiful and tasty yesterday for his birthday, as always!
