Foose Grill

I really use to love this place but as always they mess things up. Every time I call on Saturdays to order they never answer. They never open on time.. i don't know how they maintain this business.If you can order definitely do but don't hold ya breath

Last week we were looking for a place to eat and my nephew suggested this place. I had not heard of it, but I can tell you now we are no longer strangers. The food is very good and great customer service. There were four of us and we ate onsite. There are just a couple of tables available for seating. I got the opportunity to sample their catfish, chicken wings, Mac & cheese, collards, potato salad and sweet potatoes. Everything was fresh and tasty. I'm told that I must make sure to come out for their $1 shrimp Wednesday. I already have it on my mental calendar!! This place is a keeper!

$1/shrimp Wednesday's are legit the best. Always get a side of their delicious Mac and cheese and a side of collards. Friendly, efficient service too!

I normally come here for breakfast.... will start getting shrimp boys. Recommend calling in advance so it can be waiting on you.

There's a new place in Lansdowne called Foose Grill & Seafood. Is this the same place in Philly on Baltimore Ave.? If it is, this will be my new place to eat.

Have passed by this place a million times but never thought about stopping in. Friend of mine wanted to try a new place so we stopped in. At first look inside, this place was the poster child for greasy spoon and dive. Looks are deceiving. We both ordered the double cheeseburger platter. The burgers were huge, juicy and tasted great. Should have gotten the single. The people behind the counter were really nice too. Will be coming back.

Their fried Porgies and Yams were delicious!They moved to Baltimore Pike and Lansdowne ave.

Best whiting fish sandwich anywhere.I don't eat in but I take out... the place is not a comfortable eat in restaurant. They could do some upgrading on the place but the food is delicious... very few people sit down and eat in....on Wednesday they have dollar shrimp day and it's the best deal in the area....

I decided to try this establishment again, since my 2021 review. I was right, this place is a hit or miss. The taste is never consistent. My husband bought 20 shrimp special, mac and cheese, Cole slaw. Shrimp lacked taste, they fry hard, where the crunchy part scrapes my mouth up, they taste almost floury. Mac and cheese was good, cole slaw taste like chemicals. For 20 shrimp they give you1 small cocktail sauce. Owners, please, go back to shrimp original recipe. Check the Cole slaw, it taste funny.

This place never disappoints me. The whiting platter was as very good, especially that the fish was seasoned well. I'd give it 5 stars but the yams were stringy (hope you get my point). However the yams were REALLY good as well as the potato salad. I'll continue to come to this place because the food is really good.
