Food Mart Plus

This place is the quintessential do-everything corner store. They've got liquor, they make keys, they have money orders, they sell tchotchkes of all stripes and flavors. It's a little bit dirty, a little bit crowded, but they've got what you need. Parking is terrible on that end of the strip, but it's in a convenient spot across from CVS on the corner of Sage and Richmond.

This might be the first review that I am at a complete loss as to what to rate it. This place completely boggles my mind. I'm pretty sure they sell everything, but in a really sketchy way. They serve the function of a post office, key maker, and a notary. They sell handcuffs/guns, Sam's Club products, incense, mood rings, hermit crabs, and college memorabilia as well as your typical corner store products. How strange! Its located very close to me, so its a convenient place to stop, but I laugh every time I go inside. I swear they are selling something new every day.

Oh this store, haha, My boyfriend is known here by name. That tends to help me too I suppose. They always know what I need for him even when I don't remember the name of the product. They do have great sales on their items most of the time. They are also one of the only places I have seen in this area that sells the handheld e hookah, which I love. Parking can be a little tricky, but its nothing to get all worked up about. I find myself always coming back to this place.

Anyone know why the store is closed, permanently closed? I had just been to the store yesterday and it was all closed up and a sign out front saying space for lease! Anyone know why it closed?

Don't shop here unless you want to be racial profiled. I live in the neighbor and this is our local store other than CVS and another corner store. I stopped in to buy a drink. I was looking for the perfect mixer for my Deep Eddy's Cranberry vodka. I guess I was at the fridges taking too long. From the corner of my I was beening watched closely by an older gentleman. I moved and went to another fridge still on my search - he got closer and "acted" as he was straighten up things but eyes glided on me non stop. Can stop in peace. I'm really going to steal a $2 drink. Felt so uncomfortable and went across the street to CVS which is higher but this place will not get my money. The times we are living in and things like this still take place. ‍

Dearest Reader--I know my strengths and I know my weaknesses. Am I proud, no? Is this establishment reliable, yes. I have an affliction, a weakness, an addiction. BAI BAI BAI!! Yup, you heard it here first. They offer 2/$4 BAI drinks!! Such a steal.However, if your affliction runs deeper, look no further. Good selection of smokeless and smokeable tobacco. The death salespeople are very courteous and help you forget the product they sell will kill :) They also have slot machines, wowserz!!! If you are dumb enough to play those, you're DEFINITELY not reading this right now (because you can't read).Long story short, this is the best Stop'N'Go west of the Mississippi.I'll be back soon, will savor.--Mitchell
