Flower & Cream

Came here for a sweet treat after dinner with my friend and boyfriend. Originally we wanted to try the ice cream flight but once we saw how big the scoops were we quickly decided on sharing 2 scoops instead. The ice cream was delicious and creamy. The shop is a little small with limited seating and two swings in the front. Plenty of parking large parking lot.

First time trying Flower & Cream I loved the variety of cones and the variety of choices. I chose toffee coffee cake and cereal milk oreo in a cookies and cream cone. The chunks of coffee cake added some texture but there were some bigger chunks that made it more soggy? Loved the coffee flavor though, not sure if I would get that flavor again. Cereal milk Oreo is a crowd favorite and I don't mind the big chunks of Oreo in this one :P definitely would get another scoop of this next time. The cookies and cream cone was more vanilla than anything else, I would try another cone next timeSister tried Honey Roasted strawberry in a dark chocolate cone. She said she could just ask for a cone next time, the strawberry was light and ok but she was all about the dark chocolate cone :PThey have these cute wooden spoons that allowed us to sample each other's cones They have these swings but kids were there playing and it's too close to the vegan options making that area feel crowded Otherwise I'll be back to try some other flavors

Flower & Cream is a fantastic option for quick, easy, and tasty dessert at POST Houston with options to satisfy everyone including those of us with dietary restrictions (aka. they have Vegan options that actually taste amazing)!Flower & Cream has an enticing store front with neon lettering beckoning you to the numerous choices of ice cream and cones! There are nearly unlimited flavor combinations with 8 different types of cones to pair with the many flavors of ice cream.I tried the Vegan chocolate cookie with a midnight vanilla cone. The Vegan chocolate cookie was delicious - made with coconut milk and pieces of chocolate cookies! The texture of the ice cream was smooth and the flavor pairing with the midnight vanilla cone perfect. On top of everything, the service was great!Often when I get Vegan ice cream, I am left feeling disappointed - not at Flower & Cream! I would go back to POST just for this ice cream.

Amazing, amazing, amazing. I enjoyed every taste test and it was hard to choose! So many flavors of ice cream and cones! Good service too!

Great ice cream with creative flavors. Nice large seating to enjoy. Highly recommend this spot.

TL;DR - decent ice cream with good variety and service but way too much overrun (air that's whipped into the ice cream)Food - they have a good flavor selection and the flavors taste pretty good, but there was a ton of overhead in the ice cream which made the texture a bit more like whipped cream than dense ice cream. Usually the more premium ice cream spots (like Milk + Sugar) have very dense ice cream with very little overrun just for the better mouthfeel. I'd rather go to Milk + Sugar when in Houston, and my favorite ice cream spot is still hands down Botolino Gelato in Dallas, TX. Service - friendly and they let us try a lot of flavors. I enjoyed the banana Nutella one a lot. Ambiance - modern with adequate seating and nice decor.

We wanted ice cream after leaving the zoo and I'm glad I found this place. The workers were extremely friendly and helpful. It is a cute small place that has more choices than you would think. I enjoyed they have different flavors of ice cream plus waffle cones. The flavors are very unique such as honey roasted strawberry and unicorn track.I will be back!

Why 5 stars? Because I couldn't have been more satisfied with this ice cream. --- --- ---The dessert options at POST were aplenty, and I honestly thought I would end up getting boba or maybe even some banana pudding from another vendor. But the table we sat at had a perfect view of the Flower & Cream menu, which was staring me in the face the entire time I was eating lunch. Eventually, I gave in to the hypnotic chants I was hearing in my head and surrendered to the ice cream.The decider for me was the fact that they had a cookie butter flavor. I like cookie butter 100% of the time. Cookie butter is never bad. Flavors like chocolate or salted caramel can have a lot of variance. Cookie butter is just always the same, delightful treat. I couldn't decide on what other flavor I wanted to try, because I could have gone without about ten of them. I didn't want to be embarrassing and ask to sample half of the case, so I just went with toffee coffee cake. Blind. It ended up being pretty enjoyable. And like always, the cookie butter was its typical, heavenly self.Cheers to Flower & Cream -- I wish you were not an hour away from my house!

I came in late afternoon and it was empty but the interior was clean and the service was quick and friendly. I got a single scoop of honey roasted strawberry with no toppings since there was nothing in the current topping selection that interested me. My partner got a single scoop of chocolate brownie with a Kitkat topping. Both were delicious, the strawberry flavor was on the lighter side but with great strawberry flavor and sweet without being overwhelming. The chocolate brownie flavor was rich and decadent and perfect for chocolate lovers.I like that they let you sample some flavors before ordering, which is great for people like me who are indecisive or if it's your first time. There are some vegan options available and I believe some flavors are gluten-free as well. Parking was not an issue. I would love to come back and try other flavors!

I am obsessed with this place! Hands down this is one of the top 3 ice cream places in the Houston area. The shop is aesthetically pleasing, bright, warm and welcoming. There are a few swings (adult size) to enjoy as well as numerous tables for seating. My favorite thing are the cone options. From in house fresh made waffle cones to the multiple colors and flavored options. The ice cream is smooth and creamy perfect texture. So many great flavors to choose from. I would recommend raspberry tres leches, kahlua & cookies, biscoff cookie butter and pistachio baklava.
