Flip N Dip Burger

So I struggled with the number of stars on this one. First of all I feel like they are way over priced for the location and ambiance and quality of burger and fries. That is probably the main reason for 3 stars. The meat quantity was worthy of 5 stars but the overall flavor was not there for me. Also the construction of the hamburger. While I love a juicy burger - meat as well as condiments, this for some reason was so sloppy. Not upon delivery because the presentation was a 5 star. But everything kept sliding out. Either the meat or then the tomatoes and the special sauce was constantly dripping all over my hands. So much so I had to set my burger down everytime to wipe my hands. The fries were not as bad as some of the reviews but not good enough for a $15 combo that your drink is a can drink, no ice or refills etc. I'm alway a cheerleader for independent and I really want them to succeed because of this and their presentation. So figure out the messy burger solution, and review the prices structure There was only a cook and order taker so can't be the staff costs.

We have been wanting to try this place for awhile and so we were back on the area and stopped in to eat. Very small dining area, maybe about 25-30 seats. Very clean and kept up. We ordered chicken sliders and the BBQ burger. My husband live the BBQ burger, the messier the better for him. He also had the onion rings which were crispy and crunchy just like he likes the. I had the sliders and fries. We both enjoyed the fries but the chicken to me was too much batter and kinda tough. Maybe they were cooked a little too long but just more batter than I cared for. The only other thing that was presented was the drinks. Cans and generic brand of water. Maybe they consider fountain drink machine. Might be a good addition. The girl at the counter was pleasant and helped with what we needed. My husband said he would go back if he was in the areaSo give this place a try if you are in that part of town and check it out for yourself. It might just turn out to be a favorite spot for you.

Amazing!!! We went on Easter Sunday and were thankful they were open as many businesses weren't. Everything was phenomenal! I got the mushroom burger which was so delicious! The bun was super soft, the patty, mushrooms and cheese were so good! The fries were super crispy and I ordered a side of the garlic sauce because yum!!! My husband ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich which was huge! It was still moist inside and super crispy outside, he got onion rings that were so good. And we also ordered garlic Parmesan wings that were amazing.

Stopped by to get a burger haven't had one this good in a long time! The loaded fries were also delicious! Very quick service as well no time at all to get food to eat. Clean place also , well kept up.

Why 5 stars? Because the burger supersedes everything. --- --- ---I will get the bad stuff out of the way first.The fries tasted like they were frozen in a bag from the grocery store. I ate all of them because I was starving and hate wasting food, but they were pretty awful. That was disappointing.The ambiance was non-existent. It was silent and sterile in here, almost like a doctor's office. The only sounds were when the girl would come out from behind the counter to take food to a table and the swinging half door would pierce through your soul as it cried out for 10 needed gallons of WD 40. But none of that matters because of the BBQ Burger. This as one of the best burgers I've eaten in Houston. I loved every bite of it. It was super messy because it's sauced up heavily, but it was worth the many napkin wipes. I could eat this burger every day and never get tired of it.Please, oh please, do something about the fries, but Flip and Dip, thank you for existing and serving those delicious burgers!

I was in the area and looked to Yelp to help me with my lunch choice. Flip N Dip popped up and I knew my decision had been made as I'm always interested in a new burger joint. Parking is in front of the nice strip center the restaurant is located in. Inside its a small counter service restaurant.I ordered the cheeseburger for $10 and added the fries/drink combo for another $3.50. I got the "butter" fries for no extra cost. I was told they they are French fries that are coated in butter before being cooked. That was a new one to me. Drinks here are can and bottles only.The food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The burger was cheesy with pickles, caramelized onions and their secret sauce with the bun and 6 oz. beef patty. I thought it was a good tasting hamburger and while it had plenty of cheese and caramelized onions it wasn't too gooey and the bun held up to the end. I couldn't taste any butter in the fries and to me were just the standard frozen out of a bag type.

Onion rings have an addictive crispy coatingCon: The beef was not browned, gray and under seasoned. The onion rings interior was tough and chewy, like it was the outer skin of the onion.I wish them the best of success however for the price point and the quality in return it will be a while before we come back.

The Food is freshly made and well served with the primary focus of quick and expeditionary preparation. The essential ingredient paired with the amazing contrasting colors within the scenery makes going inside to order an easy task.

Truly one of the best burgers I've ever had (and I like to think of myself as a burger connoisseur.) I've been trying to find good burger places that can give me high quality food and I've been thinking about this place ever since I went for the first time about a week ago. My girlfriend's chicken sandwich was also excellent. Cant wait to try the wings. I'd also like to say the service and hospitality was top tier. I don't remember the girls name at the front but she was extremely great to talk to. Wonderful people from what I've encountered all around. Highly recommend for anyone on the fence!

First I want to state that I wish I was informed that only certain burgers come with the dipping sauce. When I went I ordered the cheeseburger. I didn't see anything on the menu listing that certain burgers came with their own dipping sauce, otherwise I would've tried one of them. It was when another came in to pick up an order when the owner shared that information. I just felt like I missed out on that. Other than that, I ordered the mozzarella sticks and they came with the flipping sauce. I prefer marinara sauce with my cheese sticks but I gave this a try. It tasted like the same special sauce like the sauce on the Big Mac but maybe too much mayo. But the cheese sticks alone were really good. I saw another person eating a loaded hotdog with slaw. I didn't see it on the menu but it looked like it was good. My burger was ok. The buns was soft but felt like it could have been grilled a bit with butter. The meat kinda broke apart but it was ok. I would've preferred a little more seasoning in the meat. The fries were good and crispy. There wasn't a fountain drink but canned sodas. The owner was kind to offer a 2nd can to us. It seems like the owner is still making improvements so hopefully things will get better.
