Paneer lunch roll.
Chicken Biryani - big portion mildly flavored but still fresh and tasty. I give it a 5-6 out of 10. The dish needed more herbs and spices.

The coke was very good
Chicken Paratha buttered $4 - first time having Paratha. I'd prefer plain Roti or plain naan next time.
Mango Lassi - creamy, mostly yogurt flavor with mango and not overly sweet.
Veggie Samosa - thankfully not a grease bomb - nice spicy kick, stuffed with potatoes and green peas. Mint chutney on top = yum
Chicken Tikka Masala
Vegetable Biryani
Chicken chili

Made a lunch time visit here on a hot summer day. The inside dining area was set up for diners, but sadly I was the only person inside and the AC was not kicking. The manager and cook were in the kitchen and whatever they were working on smelled good. The manager "Nick" happily sat me down at a table and took my order, answering any question I asked about the menu while making his recommendations. The veggie samosa appetizer came two per order. They were not overly greasy and appeared fresh. Digging in they had typical size, fresh flavors of potato and peas and a spicy kick. I would order them again. The second samosa was still tasty as a next day leftover. For bread I went against my usual plain naan or roti and tried Chicken Paratha which is a stuffed Naan with minced spiced chicken that's cooked in tandoori. They came in four pieces, were buttered and ok, but for me I'll try their plain or garlic/onion naan next visit.Mango Lassi - had a thick smoothie consistency, yogurt flavors, some mango and wasn't overly sweet. I just needed more mango, but it was refreshing on a hot day albeit full bodied. The main event for lunch was Chicken Biryani - $14 - big portion which could easily feed two people, mildly flavored but still fresh and tasty. I give it a 5-6 out of 10. The dish needed more herbs and spices. I've been spoiled by home cooked biryani, but I'm not knocking this dish, it was fresh and above average. It came with mint chutney, tamarind sauce and a yogurt sauce. For just over $30 I had enough food to take home and make another two meals. While I was eating lunch I noticed a line of food take-out drivers coming in for deliveries so they were busy on that front. Flavor of India is a good addition to the Delco food scene and fills a cuisine need in the area. (Without having to drive the extra distance to Philly for better Indian food.) I would return and try other menu options.

Flavor of India is excellent in every way -- from the gracious and attentive service to the delicious and plentiful portions of traditional Indian faire. Try the samosas and Tandoori chicken. You won't be disappointed. Note: They're BYOB.

New Indian food restaurant in the area. The place is in the Penn Pines plaza. You can eat in and sit down, there is plenty of room. They are open at lunch and have these nice rolls at 7 bucks that are lunch friendly. They consist of naan, a meat, some sauce, and lettuce. Tasty.I had their samosas. Very good, crisp on outside, soft flavor in the middle. Chicken tikka masala was good. They have great mango chutney. Garlic naan is tasty, and I also had the samosa chaat. I wasn't disappointed by any of it. The food didn't last very long. The place is unique from others. It is not next level chef eats, but homely and comforting. I felt like I went to a friend's house and had dinner. The staff is very kind. My first time there, she hooked me up with some gulab jaminnnnn!

I ordered from here for the first time off of GrubHub. I was really hungry and wanted something really delicious to break my fast with. So I ordered chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. The food didn't disappoint, there were huge chunks of chicken and lots of sauce. I requested my food to be spicy and spicy is what I got. The rice is your typical rice you would find at any Indian restaurant but good nonetheless. The naan bread was quite delicious as well. I can't wait to order from here again.

New Indian restaurant in the Aldan/Lansdowne/Yeadon proximity. We did a take out order of chicken makhani, goat curry, garlic naan and gulab jamun. Overall, the dishes were good, and the food was ready without any delays. Also, the host was very friendly and the place looked clean inside. Even though the dishes were good, they haven't yet dethroned Shere-E-Punjab. We'll revisit.

This was the 3rd time we've enjoyed takeout from Flavor of India. The food has gotten better each time. They are such a welcome treat to have in our neighborhood! Although we haven't yet dined in that's only because our schedules make it difficult to get there without being very close to their closing time. That said we'd happily dine in if we had the opportunity. We are addicted to the samosa chaat and lamb biryani but everything we've had has been absolutely delicious. When we pick up we are treated like honored guests and recognized as regular customers. The dining room is homey and inviting. We are incredibly happy to have Flavor of India in Aldan and in Delco in general!

I have done take out several times in the past but last night I decided to dine in with my wife for Mother's Day. Very tasty food and is reasonably priced. We had their samosa-chaat, lamb biriani, butter chicken and garlic naan. Their service was excellent, super friendly and spacious ambiance. When I did take out I tried their chicken roll and kabob roll. Absolutely delicious with their Mango chutney. I live in Springfield and this place is very close. Definitely a keeper.
