Grabbed a quick chocolate milkshake here on my way to the train. Nice outdoor patio area, the inside was a bit warm but a large collection of ice cream flavors were available! They also had a bunch of different to-go ice creams, including Lactaid, B&J's, Edy's and more. The toppings selection was a little lacking, but my shake came out quickly, they accept cash, and they also sell a few convenience store items behind the counter if you need anything like that. Overall, summer is almost over and I'll be back here soon when I need to cool down with a banana split or a sundae!

Easy neighborhood ice cream spot that serves Bassett's ice cream and other frozen treats at very reasonable prices. They also have a freezer of a multitude of grocery store ice creams to pick up if you don't want something scooped. It was a large store front with no tables or anything but there was also a smoke shop at the front of the store which I wasn't expecting but didn't mind.

Five Sisters Ice Cream and Sweets was my first stop request during a trip to Philly over the summer. My boyfriend and I drove down to the city and it was a sweltering day. Also, after driving an hour and a half from North Jersey, ice cream seemed like the right thing to get.We found street parking a few stores over and headed to the shop. It's at the corner of the building on the block. There is a cute, outdoor seating area next to the building, where you can sit at umbrella-covered tables amid some garden greenery and a water feature. The inside of the store is nice - bright, clean, and filled with lots of ready-to-eat, healthy take-aways and other fresh snack options (fruit and yogurt) on the shelves. And, of course, the ice cream station in the back. The pistachio was amazing; one of the best pistachio ice creams I've ever had. The woman behind the ice cream station was so friendly and actually let us know that she was the owner. She owns the ice cream shop and the convenience store next door. She was really nice. I would definitely stop in there again. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be a go-to spot.

I really wanted to like this place but there's nothing here you can't get from any old convenience store. Their ice cream is generic. Their water ice was cross contaminated with every flavor. I didn't want cherry and lemon with my mango but I got em anyway. The service was horrid. One young lady manning the entire place while an older gentleman stood there like a statue. Don't waste your money, folks.

Tonight I walked through the snow and bitter cold due to a craving for ice cream. I stumbled into this little store and found delicious Bassett's ice cream and sweet treats like brownies and pastries. I thought the selection of sweets was pretty vast and well priced. I ended up getting "whyy" ice cream which was caramelly with chocolate covered pretzels. Although I froze to death walking home with an ice cream in hand, I was pleasantly satisified!!

I'm so stoked that Five Sisters opened up. Sure, Little Baby's is up the street, but I've been dying for a more run-of-the-mill ice cream shop that was a bit closer to the Berks stop than Scoops. And it opened just in time for summer! What do I mean by run-of-the-mill? I don't mean bad or boring - I just mean options that are a bit less wild than Little Baby's. They serve Bassett's here which is so so good in a variety of flavors (the Mocha chip is one of my favorites). You can also get soft serve, smoothies, and water ice.The bonus? Five Sisters also offers fresh coconut water from the coconut itself as well as an assortment of other foreign desserts. Also - good prices. Always important.

I don't like ice cream. It's true. People get mad at me when I tell them. Five Sisters makes me want ice cream! They have about 20 different flavors. (Bassett's ice cream!) They have sorbet, water ice, gelatis! They have BAKLAVA, they will make a baklava sundae. They have a large assortment of cold drinks along one wall, ready to eat treats, cake slices, cupcakes, olives. You can get desserts aside from baklava and ice cream. I walked over on a Wednesday evening around 8pm. There were some families in their large outdoor seating area (clean and comfortable). I tried a couple ice cream samples and chose double chocolate with peanut butter in a waffle cone. It was excellent! I also left with some gooey, flaky, delicious baklava. I should mention they have hookah and hookah accessories, nice. Take the family! Have fun and be outdoors. This is an excellent place!

My wife wanted hand dipped ice cream. This came up on yelp. Definitely not the best neighborhood but surprisingly good. Bassetts ice cream, a very good variety. Wife got Coffee with fudge truffles, she said it was awesome. I got chocolate peanutbutter which is always a win! Two big ice cream cones for $9, can't complain! I have to say a pretty good surprise considering where it is.

This place is in the best possible location. Outdoor sitting area is pretty cool especially for a hot summer day. Inside you'll find Bassetts Ice cream options and more in the fridge. It's nice to come in and just order something to go and sit outside. I wish they had a little music playing outside but to each their own. It seems this is a family business as the name suggest, which is always a nice touch as you can see it in the way they work together. Although it isnt advertised, the patio is doggy friendly.
