First Watch

These are updated photos from a visit to First Watch Fairfield Town Center Cypress, TX. There's always a smiling face behind the hostess stand as you enter. Depending on the time of day, you might have to be added to a waitlist as you mingle with your party. There's usually some designated door dash or the like shelf in the lobby. Guests are usually seated with delicious entrees in the restaurant as you pass by heading to your table. I've always encountered friendly and knowledgeable staff, which is definitely a plus. The restaurants are mid sized and have a farm to table ambiance. Nothing stuffy or fancy about the interior and it's always spacious enough not to hit elbows with the next guest. I've seen First Watch cookbooks for sale at the counters as well. Affordable enjoyable entrees, that keep you coming back for more.

We were seated as soon as we walked in. This was amazing as the place was packed. Our Server was a delight. Carolina kept a watch on our table without being intrusive. She was pleasant and responded so nicely to my husband who has some difficulty hearing in noisy conditions.The Carrot Cake pancake with pecans was soooo good. However, it was gigantic! One is really enough.My husband had The Works plate. He loved it. I heard an Mmmm coming from him. This is really something as he is very picky when it comes to his food. The portion was also huge. He had to take about 1/2 home.I also ordered the Gingerbread Donuts to take with us.These are also super yummy. They come with two dipping flavors, vanilla, and caramel. Pricing was fair for the amount of food we received.We'll definitely return.

I've eaten here more than a handful of time, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered. I've tried breakfast items, lunch items, brunch items. My friends actually brought their own outside coffee from Starbucks the last weekend, they think First Watch coffee is terrible. But I actually really like their coffee. I've also been trying their fresh juice blends.I find first watch to be a little more wholesome an artisan-based then they're neighboring competitor, Toasted Yolk. FW always has interesting seasonal items that are only available for a limited time. A classic favorite is the Million Dollar Bacon ($7). I recommend coming a little earlier on the weekends and beat the brunch rush.

This company, or more specifically, back when they were The Egg and I, was near and dear to a departed loved one so I will forever remember that person when I drive by any First Watch location. In fact, we were meeting up here just after finishing up some of the official affairs of the above mentioned person and chose First Watch as a small tribute for our little family get-together. That said, I feel a little bad giving them 4 stars because if you want to get breakfast here, they really are 5 stars. The food is fresh and there are plenty of healthy choices so you can have your eggs any way you want, just get egg whites, etc. If you like omelettes, pancakes, fertattas, etc. you'll be in heaven! Part of the reason I'm taking a star off however is that the lunch menu is kind of lacking. Yes, they have salads and sandwiches, but given that they're open for breakfast and lunch, and given how strong of a lineup they have for breakfast, they could have thrown in a grilled chicken with veggies or grilled salmon or something in there too. I went with Chicken Avocado Chop salad which was pretty good but could have had a little more chicken. The service is also super friendly, but I noticed that nobody was checking to see if we needed a refill on iced tea. The coffee drinkers were happy though because they just left the pot there, but if I had to nitpick, I would have liked having more iced tea. I guess I could have been an adult and just asked too so half of that is on me! Overall though, this place is clean, friendly, healthy and you can't go wrong for breakfast here.

Sandra was an amazing waitress this morning. She was kind, attentive, and full of joy. My husband and I dined on the Farmhouse Hash and the Belgium Waffle. We both finished our plates and were eager to return!

We were seated immediately and the hostess was also actually our server so things moved quickly... The service was good, the food was good, nothing really stood out as being excellent but it was a good spot for early lunch to catch up with friends!

Our meal was fine, just breakfast $12 & change, no problem. Someone I was with was charged the same amount for toast and avocado on the side. They told her she is being charged for the $12 meal whether or not she wanted the 2 eggs (that the meal comes with) or not. Everyone was very nice and the place was clean but they lost a customer here. Not a good way to do business.

One cup of coffee that made the difference! Charlyne made my WHOLE DAY! She was attentive! Professional! Respectful! And ultimately exhibited the true representation of First Watch!

My wife and I just finished our Breakfast here at First Watch. Let me say from the moment we arrived until we finished our breakfast, everyone was so happy and happy people. Several of the people who worked there stopped by and asked how everything was. Our server Darron was so friendly and helpful, he went out of his way to help us, but this is I'm sure is what he does for everyone! If I could give 6 stars I would! See you soon as we will come back!

Ordered food on door dash and my order was incorrect . I called the restaurant 4/9/23 @10:40 and spoke a manager on duty who is a lady and tried to explain to her that my order is correct she proceeded to tell me that door dash didn't grab the second I tried to explain to her that the sticker on the bags says 1/1 instead bags 2/2 and that's why the dasher didn't grab 2 bags . The order was incorrect on their end but instead of taking accountability she said " well what do you want me to do " and kept saying " the second bag was right next to it " not taking accountability that they didn't put the correct number of bags to be taken my the dasher the manager was very unprofessional and lack customer service . 0/10 order was missing and never got to enjoy my breakfast and never resolved the issue from the restaurant.
