Fireside

Fireside formally called the Mona Lisa Bar is an eclectic intimate and locals favorite to listen to live music while having a cocktail. We had an opportunity to listen to one of my all time favorite bands Mango Punch there .They played a mixture of Spanish and English music that was certain to get you up on your feet.The hosts at Fireside were easily available to offer a cocktail menu and suggestions for wine choices .We were checked on often by their staff .We felt like VIPs since we came early and were able to sit in the small private area in front of the stage on couches separated from the rest of the bar.The highlight of the evening was during intermission introducing lead singer Walter Suhr to my favorite travel partner and Walter letting me on stage to pretend I was playing the keyboards for a quick photo op.Since that night , I would highly recommend this energic and comfortable upscale bar for a relaxing evening inside or by their Fireside pool if weather allows.

It's an amazing place , like that it's upstairs away from people walking in and out. Very cozy warm ambiance. Love that they have live bands too. The Slags rocked it out!! Love the drinks they have too..

I like the food -- Mr. Wonderful was terrific -- cannot wait to go again -- I go about 2 times a month

Vibes are great. Drinks are great. Live music was great. They do charge a cash only entrance fee. Digital world but they only take cash. Entrance fees are tacky. Won't visit again.

Nice lounge with a live band and good music. I went early on a Friday night and loved the ambiance. It was a great girls night and I look forward to doing it again. Probably today:)

Very nice vibes here. It's located at the Moran Hotel and overlook City Centre. They had live music on a weekend night when we were here. We sat outside where the pool was. Limited space but it was very chill.There's an entry fee when we walked in. I think this is because it was the weekends. If you aren't staying at the hotel then you can park in the garage nearby. Service was quick. The bar is a great addition to City Centre.

Celebrated a friend's birthday there. Had reserved tables and bottle service. The servers were courteous patient and efficient on a bustling Saturday night. Drinks were well mixed, the live band was a hit with its mixed catalogue. Tried some of the appetizers hummus something that was quite yummy. If one tires of dancing, a simple walk to the balcony overlooking the beautiful vibrant green space is a welcomed change. The pool is very relaxing and the chairs all around take one's relaxing vibes to new heights. Great place for an after work drink, a quick bite to eat or a nice date. Would def recommend and return soon.

They closed an hour early on a Saturday night, I tried to get in a 1am from just hopping around in the area. Wanted to spend good money with my colleagues here, but they were more excited to close early

Absolute gem of a place with great bands, classy people, friendly staff and tasty cocktails. One star off as the fire in the center of the room stays on even in the middle of summer and it gets sooo hot anywhere remotely near it. management should really consider turning it off on hot summer nights as everyone comments on it and would perfer it not be on.

The atmosphere was nice. The drinks were good, the bartenders were nice, and the music was good. The only downside of this place were the restrooms. As soon as my husband walked in to the restroom, he saw 3 large dead roaches on the floor and a toilet with vomit all over it. To give them the benefit of doubt, it was pretty late in the evening. However, I don't think we will be returning.
