Stopped by to grab a sandwich for lunch. The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable. She told me which sandwiches were popular to help me decide what to order. Overall I felt like the store was clean and the employees were friendly. The sandwich was also delicious. About $10 for a combo meal isn't too bad either. I'll be back next time I'm craving a sandwich.

The food is "sub" par. The food is always bad here. The service is horrendous. The guy making the sandwiches needs to shut up and not interject when speaking to management staff. I went on 12/18/23 at 1:45 pm. I am never coming here ever again. Oh and to top things off they always miss items off my order. Always !!!!!!! Screw this place. That's how they make their money by not giving you what you payed for.

I have never had a bad experience at FHS until today. I typically go to a different location closer to home. This location I tried today was dirty (floors and tables), got my name wrong (even though I used my points and my name is on the ticket), the sandwich was sloppy, no flavor and had items on it I asked to be removed (onions). I was disappointed with this experience especially since I thought FHS were all the same as my home location. The food and cleanliness (lack of) needs attention! The parking at this location is pretty bad and after my experience, so not worth the hassle. What a shame. I love FHS's Engineer sandwiches, but this one today was very disappointing. If I never had the pleasure of a wonderful FHS and this was my first experience, I would never enter another location ever. My location near home was given 5 start when I reviewed them. I guess I will stick with my location.

This used to be my FAVORITE place to get a hot sub. Got a couple of sandwiches today and the process was super inefficient. I could handle that if the sandwiches were good. They used to send the sandwiches through a toaster oven conveyor belt and now they are putting them in some kind of steamer thing. Sandwich was HORRIBLE and barely lukewarm when I received it. How do you take something SOOOOOO good and make it SOOOOOO bad?

If you like subs/hoagies/sandwiches, but are frustrated with the lack of gluten-sensitive options, Firehouse should be your go-to. The meatball sub is legit here, even on a GF loaf. Service is typically kind and quick. It does get a lunch rush and the restaurant is a little dim and dingy--could use an update--but for a quick bite, you can't go wrong. All in all, on a scale of 1 to what you'd expect of a typical Firehouse, it's a four. If the decor/lighting was refreshed, it would be a 5.

Located in the Echo Land Shopping Center along I-10 and Bunker Hill, Firehouse Subs provides great sandwiches that are slightly over-priced.I would have given it a 4 star for the quality of the food, but I had to knock it down to a 3 because of the wait time for my sandwich. I don't know why it took almost 25 minutes to receive my sandwich, and there was only a couple of people in the restaurant.Other than the wait, the staff was nice, but very slow as mentioned in my previous statement. There was plenty of parking to be found in the parking lot, and it's a nice area to be in as well.If you're in a time crunch somewhere, see how the status of the restaurant is inside (with the people) or you will end up like me, waiting 25-30 minutes for your sandwich.

Soda fountain not working properly. Staff (Christopher) uninterested in fixing the problem or offering other options like a refund or bottled soda. Charging $16 for a sandwich, chips and a drink is bad enough, not getting a drinkable soda makes it egregious. Do not go here.

Customer service was amazing from the start and the food was great! :) One of the workers picked up my food up from me once I was done! One of the guys also gave hats to all the little kids sitting behind us!! Overall, great experience!
