Fiesta Mexicana -Holly Springs

Speechless. The scenery was really clean and you could tell that it was really cultural, 9.5/10. The staff here are very nice. The toco pastor, 8.5/10. The cheese quesadilla solid 9/10. The fries were really good. The guacamole was a little plain, 7/10. I'll be back!

I have really struggled with how I want to pose this because I don't like leaving objectively bad reviews on restaurants, especially not for service. I met my mother and step-father here on August 17th, the day after my birthday, for a birthday dinner before heading out to a movie. My mom knows I love Mexican and Tex-Mex fusion food, so us going here was a no-brainer. Honestly, the food was ok. I would put it at a point above mediocre. It wasn't bad. Nobody got sick. It just didn't wow us and the guacamole seemed like it came frozen and over-processed. I ordered the three street tacos with carnitas. And then I asked for a side of rice and a side of beans. I'm Puerto Rican, I take my rice and beans seriously. I can't have one without the other. I ordered both. Everyone at the table heard me order both. When our meal came, I got my tacos and my beans but no rice. I asked the food runner to please not forget my rice, figuring they just couldn't carry it all in one go. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. 10 minutes went by before I was able to wave down our server, at which point I asked her if my rice would be out soon. She told me I hadn't ordered any rice. I said that yes I did, and my mother confirmed that. She looked at her notepad and shakes her head, insisting that no I didn't. I wasn't in the mood to argue, she must not have heard me. I say "ok well can I please have a side of rice?" She cuts me off with a "yeah yeah yeah I got it" and quickly walked off. She returns two minutes later and throws the plate on the table so it crashes into my hand. For the rest of the meal, she refuses to look me in the eye. When I thank her for each time she comes by to check on us, she ignores me and looks furious every time she has to come over. At one point I was talking to my mother about a recent visit to Spain she had and how funny it was that the Spaniards commented on her speaking Spanish so well. I made a comment about how that's because Spain literally colonized our home. Our waitress then used that moment to reach across the table and clear my mom's plate, and as she does so, she interjects "actually that's not what happened" and rolls her eyes before leaving again. It is what happened, by the way. I get that everyone has bad days, but never in my entire life have I been to a restaurant and been made to feel so thoroughly unwelcome. I wasn't mad that she forgot my rice or even that she didn't hear me ask for it, but apparently in just wanting rice I pissed her off so badly that she decided she hated my entire existence. We were going to ask for dessert and coffee so my mom and step-dad could sing me happy birthday, but before we were even done eating our dinner she was putting the bill on the table and rushing us out the door. It's the hospitality industry and nothing about that experience felt hospitable. But I guess that's why everywhere else in Holly Springs has a wait at 6:00 on a Saturday and this place had four tables sat.

Fiesta Mexicana is this sweet family restaurant. I have been dining here for 12 years, and keep coming back for my birthdays. The food here is excellent and delicious. The service is quick and speedy. Most of the people who work here can easily recognize me and my family.

Solid Mexican in Holly Springs. Entrees we're fresh and beans in particular were really good. Salsa also fresh and flavorful. Deep fried avocado a nice surprise, though not sure the corn salsa was necessary. Friendly service and atmosphere.

We always get great service and the food is wonderful We have visited this resturant many times and we highly recommend it to others. The servers have a great sense of humor and they always make us feel important and smile.Katen Bender-Manahan

I haven't been to one in a long time and there's been some changes. I wasn't a fan of the lunch menu as it didn't have a lot of variety imo. The burrito I got was fine but not very large or as good as I had hoped. Server was fine but wasn't around a lot despite it being slow. Parking around the place is a nightmare. Inside had cool scenery though.

I used to live this place but in the last couple of years service has gone downhill. So even though the food is good, don't dine in. Do takeout.

Been here twice now for lunch and you simply can't beat the lunch special prices. The portion is great for a "lunch" portion and the food is delicious. You never have to wait, the your food comes out super quickly, even before you can polish off a basket of chips and salsa lol. There are tons of options too. The dessert menu looks great but I haven't had anything yet. Will definitely come back for dinner and possibly a drink because they have fun looking adult beverage choices too.

Good food but would not honor a valid coupon today. Was told manager was not around (asked again and then was told he was on a break) and apparently he/she is the only one who can key in the coupon into the POS.Need more staff training?

The survivors were very nice I loved the Mexican ambiance the food was very good all though my father and grandmother thought the beef was to salty I don't know what they are talking about but my burrito and taco combo tasted just fine in fact it tasted really good and I got a coke and it seemed like it had more of the Sirup than usual it wasn't a problem for me but if you don't like sweeter soda then get some water I guess
