Fiesta Cantina

I had three tacos. I should have known something was up.. their tacos are only $3 each. I had two salmon and one chicken.. "the chicken" one was shredded it looked like cheese and had this awful taste to it. I couldn't take more than a bite. The salmon ones were my safe choices I thought "no one can go wrong with salmon" ..I was wrong! Not to mention the tacos fell apart. Not just the contents falling out of them but the actual tortillas were paper thin. The tortillas they used were just disgusting. I felt so sick after taking just a few bites of it and just threw them away. Only thing is that I wish I would have taken a picture for you guys.

Looking for Authentic Mexican Tacos. This is your spot! Great food, drinks, music, bartender & so laid back! Great addition to Edgewood Ave. Just what we needed!

They have some work to do.... meat was dry and brittle.... margaritas we're absolutely awful, no other way to put it... hands down the only thing that tasted good was the salsa, barley at that.... I don't know how long they'll survive but with major changes, place could be amazing

Bland food barely passes as Mexican definitely doesn't pass as a cantina. Margaritas were cheap and tasted like it too. Service was inattentive .

Loved this place, its small and quaint but very comfortable and authentic. I can tell the The owner has a passion for pleasing her customers. The bar had a good tequila selection and the bartenders make great drinks, what more is there to ask for?

We tried this place on a Friday evening... it was probably a bad sign that they assumed we came in to pay for parking and were surprised we planned to have dinner there. The strawberry margarita tastes like cough drops and tequila. Queso, chips, and guacamole were pretty decent. The quesadillas were not as good as Taco Bell's, and that's saying something. Basically, nothing is actually GOOD, but definitely avoid the strawberry margarita at all costs. It COULD be a really cool atmosphere and hopefully this is just the growing pains of being a new business... time will tell!

Great Tacos and Torta's. Stop by this new place on Sunday Afternoon right on Edgewood Ave in a Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Authenic Mexican food, original style tacos and sandwiches.

This place is great. I live in the neighborhood and drop in often whenever I am craving Mexican. The negative reviews appear to be from people who have never had authentic Mexican tacos and who think Tin Lizzy's is what Mexican food tastes like. Authentic Mexican taqueria, great margaritas, nice bar and plenty of TVs for watching games - plus they are open late for the late night Edgewood after-bar scene. Tacos al pastor are delicious.

Ate here in the middle of the night. Service wasn't ideal, probably due to the previous statement. The tacos, however, were sublime. Al pastor is an eternal favorite of mine anywhere, and they do a great job. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

I am currently sitting in this place. It's 9:26p and it's been 1:30 hours since we arrived....NO ONE in the entire restaurant has food on their table. There's a girl at the table next to me ASLEEP. We never got water or a menus until 10 minutes ago. As food is coming out, people are sending it back. It's Super Bowl weekend...one waitress is on staff. This is bad. I'm actually embarrassed. Poor management in a great location. We just got our pitcher of margaritas and chips at the 2 hr mark...asked the for the check..$30.97. I hate leaving bad review. I pray they can improve.
