I enjoyed our evening here and the DJ was excellent in the Reggae room. There was a nice selection of Hip Hop and old school reggae in abundance. I enjoyed the mature crowd who attended and how polite and in high spirits the men and women were. The night club was very well kept, but has a very cheesy ambiance with several laser lights, disco balls, cheap furniture and flat screens. Security was professional and really ran a tight ship. I felt safe in this environment. I felt the $20 admission was a joke for the lack of seating throughout the night club. After all this is located in the international strip mall. This dollar amount needs to be revisited. The bartenders here also need to attend school. The drinks are very weak for what you pay for. Who can't make a sex on the beach ? If the admission were free, I would definitely return to enjoy the DJ who spins for the reggae room.

Do not go here for a live show. As said doors at 9:30. Didn't actually get in until after 10:30. Then sat through almost 3 hours of bad DJ music (if you were lucky you got about 20 seconds of a song before he mixed in a bunch of noise, talking and another song--no way to actually dance) and finally, the live act started. The sound system was so bad, we left after the second song. Every time the singer walked across the stage, the mic would screech with feed back and the levels were terrible. My cousins kids karaoke machine sounds about as good. Total waste which was too bad since it was my husbands birthday and we were looking forward to it and drove two hours to see that show. Only thing good was the staff--they were all really nice.

Farotage Lounge recently opened in North Raleigh and brings a MUCH needed Afro-Caribbean dance and music spot to the Triangle.DJ Freddy spins music mostly from West Africa including my favorites Coupé Decalé and Zouk. The dance floor has POPPIN' the 2 nights I was there (Friday and Sat). The drinks are basic but good, your average spread of wines, beers and mixed drinks. The owner from Cameroon was there and welcomed us all to his new place. it is great to see African friends having a GREAT party in an African owned club. I am not African but still loved the vibe!

I went to this club for the Nigerian Independence Day Party and was impressed! The drinks were strong, the music was on point, and the crowd was live!!! It was a GREAT night. I think it was like $10 to get in, and the drinks were also inexpensive. The club itself was spacious, had awesome strobe lights that fed off the turnt'up atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean, and the staff made sure everyone was taken care of. I couldn't ask for more!

Good place to party but the gate fees at $20 is high! DJ is awesome and good African crowds with African American mix. Comparatively a review needed.
