Michelle is an amazing instructor and incorporates a wonderful balance of hands on instruction and educational information during our class. I scheduled Michelle to host the cheese and butter class for a bachelorette weekend and it was such a hit. She arrived with an assistant to set up the kitchen and even prepared a tray of delicious snacks for us to enjoy during her lesson. We had so much fun making cheeses and butters and snacking on crudites we were so stuffed we skipped our scheduled lunch. Another bonus was that Michelle even cleaned up the kitchen afterwards (my least favorite thing to do after cooking). I cannot say enough good things about her cooking lessons. This is such an amazing service and everyone that participated loved the event, I only wish she was closer to LA and I could have her host more cooking lessons. Thank you so much Michelle for being the highlight of our weekend activities!!If you're looking for a fun unique activity to try and are in the SB area I highly recommend Farmbelly Cooking School!

Michelle's cooking class was more of an educational, empowerment, smiles all-around experience - one where novice cooks could learn and gain from Michelle's passion for holistic nourishment - from the food source, how to protect product integrity, knife skills, and tips for the farmer's market....she was simply incredible. We had 9 girls, Michelle brought fresh orange slices for mimosas, customized a menu for a brunch that left us all inspired, happy and full. Her chia pudding parfaits, herbed butter and maple glazed bacon give you a glimpse of what made this memorable. It was really, Michelle. She loves what she does, and it shows..it is contagious. She even found our vegetable spirit animals (go to her website, you can buy a shirt with your spirit vegetable and take her quiz once she posts it), taught us how to properly hold knives and which edible florals and herbs we could grow at home. This was so much more than a cooking class, and we had a BLAST. @Michelle, you now have 9 huge fans who will be following you on all platforms, whipping up dishes with your teachings and after my morning visit to the farmer's market, I have a whole new understanding of how to cultivate relationships with local growers and how to use whole produce with minimal waste. Like I said...so much more than a cooking class! THANK YOU.

Michelle is an absolute dream. She was well prepared, well organized, friendly, easygoing, and so warm! Shopping the market was fun. She really wove the personal elements of local farming into the experience. For the "cooking" part of the class, we focused on knife skills, which was huge for me and really took the stress out of the experience. She also did a great job establishing rapport with the group early on, which sounds simple but has been majorly overlooked in other cooking classes I've taken other places around the world. Love!
