Went out to dinner with some friends and chose this place bc we have never been. It did not disappoint! Upon arrival, the host staff was eager to greet us and show us to our table. The wine selection was plentiful, our server was on top of everything. We never had to ask for anything. and the food-ohhhhh the fooood! It was absolutely delish! Seriously, everything was cooked to perfection and my husband finished his dish with a huge smile on his face!I needed a box to take mine home and when I reheated it, it was just as good as when it was first served! We will definitely be returning in a few weeks with our friends. It was such a pleasant experience!

I want to love this place! But the food just doesn't hit all the right notes for me. Would I meet up with folx if they want to go here for dinner? Absolutely! Would I pick it by myself? Unfortunately, no. Food:The menu looks incredible! The dishes, the ingredients, and the descriptions all sound amazing. The execution was so flat for us. The exception is the ricotta cheesecake. Hands down, the best ever! On our last trip, my hubs got the Sunday Gravy which is described as, "house marinara slow cooked with meatballs, sausage, short ribs, rigatoni pasta." The marinara was fine, but it definitely was marinara cooked on its own, did not seem slow cooked, and the meats were cooked on their own and placed on the pasta, not cooked in the sauce. Perhaps they meant to write: slow cooked marinara over rigatoni with a meatball, short rib, and sausage piece on top. Most sauces that claim to be gravy, the meat is simmered in the sauce or else it's just Sunday marinara. As someone who grew up eating Sunday sauce religiously, this is a nonnegotiable for me. Definitely could have been an off night where they hadn't prepped enough and the sauced meats were already gone so they were making do, but at that point tell the customer so they can decide if they want it. The short rib and gnocchi were awesome, although I prefer smaller gnocchi. It was still fantastic. Calamari unfortunately was cooked a little too long and chewy, but it seems like a really popular dish so maybe it was an off night. The Caprese salad includes balsamic vinegar which I realize is divisive, but I always toss red wine vinegar on mine, so I wasn't angry about this lol. I think everything tastes better with vinegar. The olive oil used was pretty buttery instead of spicy so I think the dish benefitted from the balsamic vinegar. The inside is cute enough although some areas seem fresh, like the giant windows and pizza oven and other areas seem a little reminiscent of the early 2000s Tuscan trend. I'm pretty picky when it comes to American-Italian food, so I think it really depends on what you want out of your food if this is the place for you. The portions are giant. The service has always been good when I've gone and our most recent trip was no exception. The menu looks so exciting, but everything is rather middle of the road.

Greeted by a gentleman who was the host, server and bartender. A bit hectic, but surprisingly, decently pulled them all off. Ordered Grandmas Meatballs, Caesar Salad and Chicken Wings. Meatballs are HUGE and super tasty. Salad a bit lackluster. And not sure the last time I ate wings in Florence. Nothing to write home about here. Kicked things off with a Margarita Pizza to share as an app. A bit doughy for my taste, but ingredients were good. All in, think American Italian bar food. A good place for a quick bite to eat with down the middle flavor profiles.

Disgusting food. They should have paid me to eat there. Eggplant in the eggplant Parmesan was as hard as a hockey puck. Bruschetta, which is hard to screw up, also nasty. Never saw bruschetta made from a sandwich roll. Server pushed some lobster dish even though we have a shellfish allergy. I'd never eat here again. Simply terrible food.

I stopped into Farina for a quick lunch while I was visiting the Lafayette shopping center. I heard Farina makes their pasta in house, I thought Gnocchi was the perfect dish to try! The gnocchi were soft and fluffy pillows of goodness. The marinara was perfect combo of acidity and sweet. The only thing I wasn't sure about was whether they used the square slices of mozzarella melted on top, rather than fresh Buffalo mozzarella. Either way, the food was great... I will definitely be back when in the area!

Good service for our party of ten. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. I ordered a glass of Riesling-- decent pour and tasty. Others at the table split a bottle of Chianti or had beer. I ordered the octopus appetizer as my meal and the waiter told me it was very small. Thank goodness he told me that because he was not kidding. Therefore I ordered an arugula salad as well. I was not impressed with the octopus. It was just little bits drowning in Garbanzo beans. It was good but I could have used more octopus and less beans. Arugula side salad was okay, fair price for a good side salad. Husband said sausage rigatoni had good flavor but was light in sauce/sausage. He would have preferred more. Overall a fun experience enjoying dinner with friends and a good waiter but probably wouldn't go back on my own.

Wednesday is half off wine which attracts a crowd. BEWARE, there are things they do not share. We called ahead and were told that wine was indeed half off by the bottle or glass - NOT true; only by the bottle. AND, we ordered accordingly. THEN, the bill comes and all wine was full price. They have a limited selection of bottles on their special, which they do not communicate except on a page in the wine menu book. The manager gave us a small discount as an attempt to make things right. A nice evening and meal with friends ended on that note...

The food was mediocre. I ordered shrimp scampi for 28$. I got a huge plate of spaghetti, 4 shrimp and NO SAUCE. Scampi normally has a bitter, cream snd gaélicu sauce. I left hungry.
