Falak Restaurant and Banquets

I am a foodie and I write reviews only as public service.Going to Devon Ave for long long time today I tried Falak restaurant.I ordered mutton kadhi, wow delicious so appropriate fresh ingredients properly spiced and unbelievable tender juicy meat, taste tell you it is the freshest young goat meat 10/10.The 2nd dish I ordered was mutton dum biryaniAfter long time I did find the real dum biryani, tender meat best basmati rice and delicious spices, steamy fresh If you are foodie too and appreciate good food then this is the placeOh, thanks Ali your courtesy and service is greatly appreciated.

Many fine dishes! Good buffet. Chai included. Good variety. Great price. Delicious. Extensive buffet.

I am perhaps biased as I used to come here regularly when they were Viceroy. There are more choices for meat-eaters (lamb, beef) than there were under previous management, and fewer choices for vegetarians, although we still get a separate section on the menu, and the Sunday lunch buffet (til 3:30! how great is that?) is about half vegetarian and pretty well-labeled.We enjoyed the Sunday lunch buffet ($20). No samosa (fairly rare these days) but vegetarian options included samosa chat, pakora, a curried chickpea dish, one Indo-Chinese dish (noodles), rice, and your choice of naan or puri, with 5 different sauces, a chickpea pickle, gulab jamun or halva for dessert, plus water and chai tea. (Soft drinks and mango lassi are extra; $2 for lassi is a deal.) Can't comment on the meat, but they had butter chicken and one or two other things.Bread is not well-suited to buffets (puri is best warm; naan tends to get tough on a steam table) but everything was tasty and while one more curried vegetable dish would have been nice, I didn't feel deprived. Service was fairly minimal (it's a buffet) but pleasant: we were asked if we needed help or drinks. The inside is minimal but clean with some updates since the new owners took over: different art / light fixtures; chairs and tables instead of booths. It wasn't crowded. I might do the buffet again and will probably come for dinner some time when I want saffron rice and more dinner options (but not potatoes or cauliflower, which don't appear to feature on the menu).

Excellent mutton and chicken biryani, probably the best I have had in chicago. They have good chicken 65 as well.

One of two restaurants I consistently go for TakeOut. Never dinned in, but everything I've tried has been good. I use to deliver for DD, etc, and the smell of their food is what made me try this place.

I can't say that was restaurant it was a group of unscrupulous person disrespectful unprofessional Reception and liar guy was there he was in charged for everything receptionist. And Waiter . He came give us menu after Brought water jack it was very very dirty I never seen in my life. Then I told my orders. After few minutes later I asked him I want to same orders what I told but unfortunately. He brought different order after 1 hour 45 minutes. My orders was skikh kabab tow and one rice each was 15$ but charged me 79$ plus tips he already I didn't ready pay. Because I was kids leave the restaurant . I say any please before go anywhere read comments I didn't. Don't try going to there

I was there for a ghazal program and found the service and place to be in a pathetic condition. The Food was average and the staff particularly one tall person who claimed to own the place was rude and passing unwanted racist type remarks. Would not recommend unless you are looking to be treated shabbily or to pick a fight.

Great food and friendly service! I've eaten here and ordered pick-up before and enjoyed the food. Tandoori chicken and beef kebab are my favorite.

We enjoyed our food throughly! Delicious rashmee kabab and tarka daal! The serving dishes were very nice with lids. Service was prompt once we ordered our food. Will definitely come here again.

Delicious, authentic food. In the heart of Western Suburbs! They hosted International Women's Day today with variety of international food (Taco, Samosa, Burger and Fries. The event was exceptional with outstanding speakers repeated by diversified representation youngest to adults, from Journalist, Doctor, Psychologist, Veteran, Elected Official, and Thriving Entrepreneur, Activist and Women Leader.
