Falafel Time

Very serviceable falafel spot. I got the platter which was filling and pretty tasty. The falafel was crisp, not dry, and flavorful. The place itself is pretty bare bones with just a few spots to sit and eat, but it seems like most people take out. Service was fine. I'd come back here. Not a life-changer but a decent option for a quick meal in the neighborhood.

This is a very small "takeout" type Mediterranean food place. Definitely not a dine-in place, as the whole place feels a little bit dingy, even if you eat by yourself.The food and portions were decent. I was able to get the Sam's combo which was the chicken, kebab, and the falafel. These were all pretty good, but didn't stand out to me as "great". The rice was a bit plain. I liked the salad.Prices seem not so great though. It was $16 for this food. Warning: There is a $2 fee for using credit card so make sure you bring cash. The signage is very clear.

The chicken swarma wrap is absolutely delicious!!! Fast Togo orders and very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Not good. Ordered falafel from here last night. Damn near broke my tooth! It was F'k'n glass in my food! Tried to get my cash back for my entire order crap asss grubhub only refunded me for the falafel. I refused to eat anything else that came with my order so it was all a complete waste. I will never order here in life ever again.

A few things to know if you've never been to Falafel Time:1. This is a predominantly take-out business. The space is small, and there is one small table inside that I have never seen anyone using.2. Their signage says they are cash only, but they also have signage stating they accept cards. I have never had an issue using a card, but as a small business of course cash is preferred.3. While the name is Falafel Time, the main event here is the chicken shawarma. The first time I tried Falafel Time, a friend and I called in our order and walked over to pick it up. We got a chicken shawarma platter with fries instead of rice, beef kabobs, hummus and pita, and a salad. The portions were HUGE, we had enough to feed four people. The hummus portion alone was super generous, especially considering the price point. And it was some of the most fresh and delicious hummus I have had in a while. The beef kabobs were a bit dry for my preference, but this did not matter because that chicken shawarma platter was out of this freakin world!For a recent takeout lunch order, I ordered through Yelp. I decided to add falafel to my chicken shawarma platter and the whole meal came out to $15. The platter is a very generous service and it comes with a small salad too. The falafel was good, not my favorite ever. But as always, the chicken shawarma delivered.

The food here is incredible and very reasonably priced! The service is always top notch. I have had nothing but good experiences. I have only eaten their food via takeout or delivery l.

Little hole in the wall spot in a nice area that knows exactly what they're there for. If you're looking for great food, great portions, at a good price this is your place. I got the chicken shawarma platter and a separate order of babaganoush. Both the platter and the babaganoush came with a pita which came in handy as the order of babaganoush was massive and much more than I would've expected for ~$7 (amazing deal). The rice that came with the platter was exceptionally seasoned and the chicken was some of the best chicken I've ever had. Everything I ordered from here was downright addictive. If you're in the area definitely stop in to this spot.Side note: there's a credit card charge so make sure you bring cash to save a couple bucks and support small business!

Awesome chicken shawarma! So flavorful, perfectly messy and slightly spicy. Chicken was nicely grilled, veggies too, and really good sauce.

good fast no frills mediterranean grill spot. fast service and easy pickup spot. usually go with the chicken shawarma and vegetarian combo. both are good. if i had one complaint it's that the pitas are sort of not the fluffiest or softest but for the price u really can't complain.

Wow wow wow wow YES. Everything about this place is brilliant. Really appreciate the habibi working the counter and cookin' up AHMAZING grindsssss. It's a small brick and mortar but definitely the vibe if you're looking for a quick and healthy bite. My sister and I really enjoyed the falafel sandwich and fries. Perfectly seasoned both the sandwich and fries. Mahalo to my mediterranean family for providing me with the exact food I needed while spending just the day in Philly! Aloha from Maui
