Kids Grilled Chicken Kebab - there's literally just 2 ounces of super dry flavorless chicken.

Just ordered Falafel Makers for the first time based on the great reviews. Added special instructions like no cilantro/parsley and beef kebabs cooked medium rare, but they were all ignored. The chicken shawarma was sooooo dry and tough, covered in cilantro/parsely. The beef kebabs were basically burnt. The kids kebab was maybe 2 ounces of chicken. See photo. And they forgot my soup that I paid for but they want me to go back to pick it up or get a store credit. They did call back and offered to refund me for the missing soup, so added a star for that. We may try it again at a later time, but for tonight, we have ordered other food to eat.

Been wanting to try this place for a while. The gyro was tender and smooth, and had a creamy aromatic, not as spicy or coarse as other places. My kids definitely loved these more than others. The side salad is kinda small and pretty sour; I liked it but not others in the family. The hummus was super good, light smooth and creamy and not very sour like other places. The Arabic chicken shawarma was uniquely spiced and flavorful, very aromatic but is a bit dry. We had sauce on the side but I think it would be really good with the sauce in. Within the wrap, there's also a pickle, so it adds the crunch and refreshing ness. The pickle isn't overly sour or salty, and no sweet flavor profile. I didn't know it came with fries so I ordered a separate order of fries. The fries were not seasoned and not batter coated. Just regular salted thick cut, which is healthier and pretty bland but fried well and crunchy enough the kids liked those. The tabbouleh was very fragrant, pretty sour, and strong flavored but it worked very well with the other less strong flavored foods. I love the variety in taste, texture and flavor this place offers. Portion size is reasonable. Would definitely come back, particularly to try their falafels (can't believe we didn't order falafels).

Well Pita Inn now has some serious competition in the area. This is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch or order take out. I was really impressed by the flavor profile and quality of the kefta entree I ordered. Will definitely be back to try other options.

This is a new spot, so I am going to add a start to my rating to cut them more slack, but honestly, this place was about a B- for me - BUT NOT BECAUSE OF FOOD! The food was very good! My direct comparison for fast casual Mediterranean is Pita Inn. And while Falafel Makers definitely has better flavored rice and crispier falafels, they cannot win over Pita Inn. The points of loss start with value. 1) Prices. We paid $16 for a combination plate. Granted it had a little bit of different meats to try, the portion size did not justify the $16 price tag. Also, I was a bit disappointed in the $1.99 price for a can of soda. Really?! Come on!?2) Portion size. The "main attraction" on the plate was lots of rice, and three little one-inch cubes of chicken and steak kabobs, plus a small sausage of minced kebab. While the chicken and steak were very expertly marinated and tasted phenomenal, the little bite-sized pieces on the plate just seemed inadequate for the $16 price tag. The minced meat kebab was too tough, not as flavorful, and definitely fell short. The plate also had some salad and a bit of creamy hummus. Plus they served a couple of pieces of pita, which was good. I believe the competition charges less and you get more meat on the plate. 3) Ambiance and service. The place is new but it is part of an interconnected plaza of small businesses, and they took over a space that was previously occupied by another business. I see that they tried to decorate with authentic touches, but you still get a weird "old" smell when you walk in. Plus if you need to use the restroom, be prepared to walk through a dark, back corridor to some dinky bathroom that is quite old, smelly, and absolutely chips away at my confidence in and perception of a new food business it is attached to. Service was fine. Not overly friendly, definitely room for improvement, and they are likely still working on finding their best style. Overall, my impression of the food itself was very good. Everything else (value, ambiance, service) were a miss for me. Since this is a new business, I would encourage people to try it, in hopes that as the business finds its groove, the points that were a miss for me are improved and the business thrives! Good luck, Falafel Makers!

Saw Falafel Makers on Yelp, and I must say, it was an overall delightful experience. From the moment we stepped in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the Chicken and Steak kabobs, which were bursting with flavor. The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned, leaving us wanting more with each bite. The accompanying rice was cooked to perfection (perfectly al dente), and the combination of flavors made the dish truly enjoyable. The sauces offered at Falafel Makers were also commendable, adding an extra layer of taste to the already delicious kabobs. They perfectly complemented the dishes and added a delightful tang to the entire meal. While we were looking forward to trying their hummus, it was, unfortunately, a bit of a letdown. Although it had a good consistency, we noticed a peculiar fishy taste that hindered our enjoyment. We barely touched it, but . However, we were not charged for it, which was a considerate gesture on their part.Throughout our meal, the staff checked on us regularly, ensuring we had everything we needed and were enjoying our experience. Their attentiveness and accommodation made the dining experience all the more pleasant.Overall, Falafel Makers is a restaurant that offers delicious and flavorful dishes. The slight disappointment with the hummus was overshadowed by the excellent service provided by the friendly staff. I would definitely consider returning to Falafel Makers in the future, and I encourage others to give it a try as well.

Very good! You don't have to like falafel to like it here. Ordered to go: lentil soup, kufta entree, and large cucumber-yogurt salad. The soup was a bit thin, but I'll try it again, thinking it may have been a one-off thing. The kufta was delicious. The cucumber salad was very good too. Because of its temperature, I would have liked the salad to be in a separate paper bag. It made my pita cold and I'm sure it lowered the temp of my entree too.
