I stumbled upon this place and all I can say is WOW. The pizza here is delicious. This is the best tasting pizza in the area. There's a small surcharge if you pay by credit card but I've always paid in cash. The people here are extremely pleasant. High quality ingredients are used. I wish I took a picture of my pie but the pizza smelled sooooo good I couldn't wait. They also give you a side of garlic butter which just brings the whole thing up a notch. This place will not disappoint, trust me.

I love that they offer gluten free options for pizza although our first try for take out was a little disappointing (soggy crust, perhaps too large of a cheese to crust ratio?). But the more GF options in the world the better!

We ordered take-out pizza. Order was ready on time, store is clean and well organized. The pizza tasted great- maybe the best pizza in Bala since Paul stopped making them at Mama's. One thing, though, as another said- soggy crust. It is not greasy, just wet and soggy. The top edge of the crust is baked perfectly. I think what might be happening is that the stone or oven bottom or whatever the pizza rests on while cooking is not hot enough, so you are not getting the oven spring from instant steam, and that steam never escapes. So, when you take the pie out of the oven, that steam is still in the dough and cools back into water that soaks the crust. Still great flavor! Just... soggy.

It's safe to say that there isn't great pizza on the main line. I don't like the basic cheese pizza, I appreciate something with a bit more flavor and a bit more unique. EVO delivered! We ordered the Florence pizza and the flavors were great. I highly recommend.

We had lunch at EVO Brickoven in Bala Cynwyd yesterday and the food was fantastic! The pizza is awesome, but they also have a great selection of pastas and Stromboli, the portions are generous and the staff is very friendly. Definitely give this place a try - you'll be glad you did!

We split a mixed sausage, pepperoni and spinach pizza. Extraordinary pie, liked the crust (we reheat our takeout on a pizza stone so the crust was crisp and dry), nice chew and flavor. The cheese and sauce were also savory and high quality. The toppings were very generous. One of the very best pizzas in this area.

Buddy of mine just hosted a pizza tasting party featuring pizza from 5 local pizzerias including EVO which finished 1st overall and 1st on 6 of the 10 ballots. Delicious and all we sampled was the plain. Excited to try one with toppings. Funny thing is I've driven by the place dozens of times but never stopped in. Not much more to say but you should try as soon as you can and don't be like me wasting time.

Just tried Evo pizza for the first time and definitely impressed! I got the Greek pizza and it was so tasty. They don't skimp on the cheese either. Everything on the pizza tasted fresh and delicious, and really enjoyed the crust. Excited to come back and keep trying different things on the menu.
