Estrella's Bakery

It was a good bakery- we got the tres leches cups and a slice of cake. She packaged nicely. Smells amazing when you walk in. Nobody there spoke English tho, so keep that in mind (you don't really need to). Not anything super amazing though.

I was there yesterday around 2 and was very disappointed that most of the sweet bread was not fresh. I hope next time it is otherwise I will stop going.

This is my go-to bakery now. I've been a regular at a nearby Mexican bakery where they also have great bread. But Estrella's is Salvadoran and has the bread I grew up eating, specifically semita and quesadillas. They have peperechas, salpores, and cheeses and creams from the country. They have beautiful cakes behind the glass display. The women working there are very nice. Deciding what to get among the vast array is challenging. But the prices are right so take a tray and tongs and indulge.

We tried the maranitos and pineapple empanadas both were absolutely delicious! Will definitely stop by again next time we are in the area!

Their sweet breads are very good but I can't say the same for their cakes or cupcakes. They put way too much icing on them. I ordered a tres-leches cake and it was dry. The decoration was not what I ordered. I would definitely go by o get sweet bread but will never order a cake from them again.

The churro here is really good, although we brought it home and reheated in the toaster oven. My family loves the small breads, and the round cheesecake is not too sweet.
