Esquina Cubana Latin Restaurant Miami Beach

It might seem overwhelming to pick the perfect street side cafe in Miami Beach, but if you happen to walk past Esquina Cubana, stop and take a seat you will not be disappointed. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the flavors, not to mention the portions. The shrimp ceviche with plantain was delicious. Next, I had the shrimp clay pot with rice, black beans and sweet plantains. I cannot stress enough getting the plantains, it was like dessert with your entree. The service was exceptional, Yoselyn was quick, full of recommendations and so nice. AND if you check in on Yelp you will get 15% off your bill.

We are on vacation and found this amazing place in Miami Beach! It is on the core we off Washington & 7th street. The food was INCREDIBLE. Service by Yoselyn was fantastic!Cool vibe and ambiance sitting on the patio. Latin music playing. Chill atmosphereThe food stole the show. Had ceviche. Was really good. I had the shredded beef Cubano sandwich. It was a flavor explosion. The other entree Camarones ajillio was a garlic & white wine adventure. So good Check this place out !

If you are in Miami, you need to stop by and order the incredible snapper and paella. The snapper was crispy, delicious and perfectly seasoned. The restaurant had an indoor and outdoor seating. Very cozy. Our server Christian was very friendly and attentive. Do not miss passing by!

Although I was only in Miami for a few days, I was able to squeeze in two visits here and each time I left feeling so happy and content.My hotel was just a block over and the festive patio space was so inviting that I had to pop in. Both times, I ordered the shrimp ceviche and it was so fresh and delicious! Even though this is listed as an appetizer, the shrimp are rather large so I found it to be such a refreshing, protein packed light meal while in the midst of nonstop grazing at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. Their classic mojito was absolute perfection as well - not too sweet, well mixed and beautifully garnished. Service was always great as well! Can't ask for much more!

Loved this place it's like a couple blocks from the beach. We walked here from our hotel and loved the ambiance felt like I was in Cuba. I didn't get anything too special food was ok. Mimosas were good. Our waitress was really nice. I would definitely go back

Tostones were saturated in grease. They must have been fried at too low of a temperature, not very good. Almost all the dishes include pasta. This is not a good place for people avoiding carbs or gluten. This is a chain restaurant. We didn't realize until sitting down and it was the exact same menu as a Cuban restaurant we had been to the night before. There are several restaurants on South Beach that are all related to each other. We went to several of them and weren't impressed with any of them. We will focus on the smaller non-chain restaurants in the future.This restaurant is basically all outdoor seating except for the bar. They don't have a to the restaurant you have to walk down a couple of restaurant doors to a public type bathroom for all the restaurants in this area.

Our server, Carlos, was very attentive and provided a memorable experience! We started the night with a plate of calamari, it was very crispy and flavorful. We had the ropa vieja and half roast chicken with a side of tostones at this lively establishment. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get their fill of authentic cuban food

Visiting Miami for the day, our friends were craving Cuban food so we checked on the best food finding app there is, Yelp! Esquina Cubana came up first.The service was great, the young lady Melissa that took care of us was sweet, professional and friendly.We sat outside as inside had only 2 tables, it's small yet just right. The decor has a lot of pictures of Cuba with a warm, tropical vibe.We ordered the whole fried red snapper and the shredded roast pork, both came with yellow rice and yucca, one had fried yucca and the other was boiled, all of it was delicious!

One of my favorite Cuban restos in Miami. This place has an amazing ambiance with delicious food. Probably one of the top mojitos in the city IMO. It's a nice little reprieve if you want to walk slightly off the beaten path.

First of all, this place is right in the corner in the heart of south beach and it's so cute. Delicious food and even better service. The drinks weren't very strong but the food was incredible. The croquetas were 10/10! Would kill for them. Fish was great and so was the churrasco. Rice was bland compared to everything else but I went there for the fish, the maduros and the croquetas.
