Let's give some compliments. Our server was Yinney (I may have spelled it wrong). She was a professional and always making sure we were good. Knew the menu.Today we had five of us. With family for the weekend. Four of us ate vegetarian and one Seafood.Guacamole made at the table.Everything was pretty good but nothing was awesome. The environment was vibrant. Birthday parties and we all joined in wishing random folks a great day. So if you want good service, a cool vibe and reasonably decent food... This is quite good.

We happened across Escalante's Fine Tex-Mex & Tequila while looking for food in Sugar land town square. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good however the flavors and price point left a lot to be desired.It was my sister's birthday and they were very accommodating, however drinks are over priced. Food was bland and we left hungry and underwhelmed.With so many restaurants in the area I doubt that we would come back.

If you are looking for a upscale Tex-Mex restaurant then this one place for you! This restaurant has the right amount of fancy and casual. The service was excellent everyone was pleasant and attentive. The chips have the perfect amount of crunch ( I personally don't eat salsa) but I did hear that it tasted very authentic. The food comes out extremely hot and the cheese melts in your mouth.

It's a great enchilada! I ordered to-go and the food was still quite fresh after a forty minute drive. The chicken enchilada is great and the portion is more than fair. It is a bit pricey, but good food warrants that! Cheers!

Visited the establishment around 1 or 2 pm on a Friday with a group of ten and the restaurant wasn't very busy, which was good for us. Our waitress was very friendly and quick. The food was good but when we ordered shots, they were charged as full size drinks "because the ingredients included". Not sure why they wouldn't just give us all full sized drinks then? Or tell us before charging.

The food & experience here is 7/10 overall. This is pretty good for such a busy Tex-Mex restaurant in a town center. The vibe at night is dim lighting and with the huge open windows on good weather days really set the mood. The tortilla soup was flavorful and had a lot of vegetables in it. I can't complain about the food however the service was a little slow with service, busy by population and may or may not have a wait time for seating. Good place to go with a large party of about 9 to 12 people or less, they have plenty of seating. I love the Mexican candy at door, perfect for the finishing touch.

The food was overall okay. The service and environment were good but the food was a bit disappointing. The refried black beans were tasteless. The chile con queso blanco was very good though. I wouldn't go back because of the beans. I gave three stars because of service and chile con queso blanco.
