Tucked along Heights Blvd, you'll find a small coffee house with a few parking spots at the front. There's definitely parking all up and down the street, though. I could walk 1.5 miles on the trail from my place to here like I do La La Land or Mamaka, but also...I could drive. Haha. If you live closer like Heights Blvd/Yale, it's a more doable stroll. You walk into this house with wooden floors that creak. It transported me to the old Austin I knew that doesn't really exist anymore like Spider House cafe. There's seating all around and inside. People come here to study, read, play games, mingle. I came to do some work on my laptop. There's a few outlets around. It can be loud sometimes with everyone talking. Bring AirPods or headphones to reduce the noise if you're studying/reading. They also bring in local music artists, which is cool.I had a hazelnut latte with oat milk. Although it was lukewarm, I loved the flavor. I could've easily drank two or three cups. The sausage kolache was not my favorite. It took a while to get it, and when I did, the middle was still cold. You could tell it was frozen, and they tried to warm it in a toaster oven or something cause the outside breading was brown. Their menu looked extensive for a coffee house, and they had pastries on display. I'd come back for the hazelnut latte with oat milk and maybe try a different food item.

EQ coffee is a pleasant neighborhood coffee shop to sit at and do some work. There is seating inside and a large patio. Noise level is minimal and there are plenty of chairs and sofas. The folks here are super kind, they gave us a bag of ice (Bad mosquito allergy- swelling- it was a mess, different story). The drinks were good, I had the matcha latte. The matcha used is ceremonial so specify if sweetener is needed otherwise it might not be the typical matcha latte.

The iced lattes are light and pleasant. The seating indoors and outdoors is lovely with plenty available. Service is friendly and prompt if you're ordering drinks (no food). My issue is the matcha. I ordered an iced matcha latte with regular milk and my drink was $6.50 before tip. I'm not one to actually leave behind a drink but I could not finish it. It tasted like milk but with the most unpleasant aftertaste. It was one of the most disappointing drinks I've ever had. I tried my friend's drink. It was matcha with soy milk and vanilla and it was a tad better but the same unpleasant aftertaste and incredibly weak in matcha flavor. I absolutely recommend that you stay far away from their matcha drink. I truly hope that especially considering the high price point, they revamp the drink significantly.

This place is the best! I go here at least once a week. It is super cozy, with lots of available seating. There are spots both inside and outside. The staff is really nice as well. The coffee is always good, and is reasonably priced, and the pastries are great as well. They have a variety of seats too, and most are super comfortable. I also love the location! It's right in the middle of the heights, and there are plenty of antique shops, restaurants, shopping, and beautiful homes and parks nearby. It is great to walk around and take a break between studying/ working! Highly, highly recommend!

Cozy vibes.Honestly have passed this place a thousand times but the parking lot up front was a turn off BUT there is more parking in the back. Neighborhood coffee spot with indoor and outdoor seating. Had a TGTG order and went in to pickup. It was close to shutting down time so parking wasn't a problem plus it was a Sunday. There were some additional spots for the law firm next door but it was closed so I assume parking crosses over on the weekends. There was a handful of customers and everyone seemed to be in their own world. There were a few couches and tables. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There was a guy working the front and frankly he was cute. That was an added plus. He was also very nice. The pastries were delicious. Its def a nice spot for some outdoor coffee chats when the weather cools down.

I love taking friends to this spot for coffee dates. They're always impressed and the outside seating has perfect shade for this time of year.

Nice quaint little coffee shop in the Heights. You can sit on the patio, feel the breeze and get some work done. It's not too crowded, the Wi-Fi is strong, there is plenty of seating. I just had a drip coffee so not much to write on about but I would definitely return.

Great coffee! Comfortable sitting, although I will advise that it gets packed fairly quickly. Plenty of outlets if you are using your laptop to study.

I'm sorry but this is the worst coffee I've ever had. I don't know they made a mistake but my latte tasted like straight up watered down milk. It's packed so I'm assuming they just gave me a crappy $7 drink
