Emporio Brazilian Grill

Best place for authentic Brazilian food and never been disappointed either by service or the quality of the food. They also have a little market with local products and frozen items. Highly recommended

From the menu: Ice Tea $2.75I was thirsty when I arrived for dinner last week. During the meal, I consumed 2 glasses of unsweetened ice tea and then when finished asked the waitress for another half of a glass and she refilled my glass from the pitcher like she had before. When presented the bill, they charged me $8.25 for my ice tea. That's 3 glasses of ice tea at $2.75 for each glass. In my life, I have only had this happen once before in New Orleans. The waitress explained to me that this was the owners decision. $2.75 PER GLASS for flavored water poured out of a pitcher. What a ripoff. I will never return and should probably be grateful they didn't charge me for the sweet n low packets I used!By the way there is no mention of this atrocity on the menu. At least warn your customers!

Authentic Brazilian food without the inflated buffet prices. Prompt courteous service and perfectly grilled picanha. My new favorite in west Houston ! Plenty of authentic Brazilian food products in their adjacent grocery store !

Service was excellent. The issue is that they changed a lot, perhaps to save money (?). The food was not bad; it was just... food. In the past, they had the best black beans that a Brazilian could cook. It tasted like my grandma's beans back at home in Brazil. The chocolate cake was baked in home and the slice was served in a plate. Delicious! I bragged about the place to my husband and when we visited Houston, I took him out to eat at Emporio Brazilian Grill and it was disappointing. The beans tasted like can beans, the farofa and vinagrete in little plastic containers like a fast food place. The desserts now also come in plastic containers indicating that they were prepared somewhere and then sold at the restaurant. Looks like a fast food place. They didn't have the chocolate cake anymore; one of the best dessert items. Nothing more tacky than serving desserts in plastic containers in a restaurant. That's just horrible. It is like they don't care. I didn't know what to tell my husband after telling him so many good things about the place. I guess the economy is so bad that they are doing what they can to survive. Not sure what happened... I used to love going there because the food truly tasted like homemade. Not anymore. They should strive to represent Brazilian food better.

Wonderful food and awesome service. The kids menu had sirloin steak and my Grill & Green bowlwith shrimp was wonderful! Definitely recommend.

If they were in Baltimore and played Baseball, they'd be the Baltimore Emporioles. If they sold cookies, they'd be Emp-Oreo. This is the restaurant where they filmed the Christian Bale As A Kid movie "Emporio Of The Sun" and also the John Legumes-zano movie "Emporio." Also the famous movie "The Last Emporior."I Emplore-yo to visit Emporio!There's not a lot of Brazilian food in the United States that's worth shouting about, although Boston is absolutely full of it, with Love Dog, Pastelaria Vitoria, and the wonderful Oasis being the Big Three there. Houston doesn't have anything quite like that, but there are some other good regions for Brazilian food which you might want to check out, if that's what you're into. Of course that's absolutely what I'm into.So anyway when I come down to these parts in the swampy bayou of Texas, I will usually try to get some delicious Brazilian food to try, although like I said Houston isn't exactly overloaded with it by any means.Emporio is one of the best of a bad bunch. We like the atmosphere here and a lot of good looking people come to eat Brazilian food here and enjoy the entertainment. Barbi is into the food here more than I am, but it's good for sure. Some of the dishes are amazing, and our waitress was really wonderful.All in all it would say it's definitely one of the better Brazilian experiences we've ever had in Texas. There aren't many, but this is easily in the top five that we've had. Having said that, it did kind of make me long for the standards of Brazilian food in Boston, and of course in the wonderful land of Brazil.And if you miss Brazilian food too, I Emporiothize with you.

I recently got invited to this restaurant. Oh my my, now it is on my most restsurant to visit next time I travel to Houston, Texas.This is the first time trying Brazilian food.Food is absolutely delicious and the portions are humongous. Too good that I had the other half of my plate for breakfast the next morning.Next time I stay after 7pm for the live music.I had the bacalao (salted cod fish) delicious, and my husband had the picahna.

I had a grilled chicken and pineapple meal here last night. I drank water with my meal so I didn't have to worry about refills. My chicken was amazing. Thin and crispy grilled. The best part was the rice. I think it was made with garlic and butter. There were also delicious crunch salty bits in the meal. The restaurant itself is surprisingly nice on the inside. The grocery store is extensive and it looked like they had frozen meals options. I will be back.

Authentic Brazilian food, food yummy, Anna licked her plate she liked it so much. Would definitely recommend. We also saw Jeff Bezos here!

Best Brazilian food I have ever had! The service was great and the waiter made sure to bring extra sauces and was courteous and fast with everything. The atmosphere within the restaurant is also fancy and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
