The food was excellent. I placed a take out order and I really enjoyed it.It was my first time here. Not to crowded when I went. It wasn't loud inside and they have a full bar with the college games on so I was able to waste time effectively. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Both the manager and staff would check on me as I waited. They had a lot of to-go orders and they were fast. That's a plus for me.

((Please keep in mind that my reviews are heavily weighted by the food portion. That's what I'm there for)).The restaurant itself is nice-sized and well lit, though the acoustics can make conversations strained. The main dining area features high ceilings and minimal decor and leads back toward the bar. They offer outdoor seating options as well. Our server was very kind, though a little inconsistent (there when we didn't need him, and not when we did). Now to the food. I had never had Detroit style pizza before and wow am I a fan. I made a comment to my friend that the crust resembles focaccia texture only to learn (from my research later that night) that this was exactly the idea. You get IMO the best of both worlds. The edges have a crisp crunch from the oil in the pans while the center remains aerated and doughy. I've heard things about Detroit style pizza being overly oily, but did not find this to be the case at Emmy Squared. We pre-gamed the pizza with the brussel sprout salad,(sans cheese) and it was delicious. It's topped with crunchy cashews, tart dried cherries and sweet pickled onions in a tangy miso dressing. Yum. They easily accommodated my dietary preferences which I always appreciate. I'll be back!

I'm not sure what happens behind the scenes here. I've tried eating here for three years and while it was always enthusiastically mediocre, it's now down to bad food as well, at astronomical prices. So today I ordered an MVP. Came out with liquid toppings pouring off and raw dough. Sent it back. It came back heated through, missing the pieces I tried to eat, and was still not done correctly with the dough still raw and edges like croutons. Inedible. I just asked to pay for my cocktails (Emotional Damage, $14 a pop, at least they were delicious) so I could just leave and find edible food. This location is suddenly running a bunch of drink specials to get people in, but if your food is borderline inedible, something needs improvement. The service has always been hit or miss at the bar, and now it's just indifferent. FYI, I ended up here again only because Wylie & Rum was packed full. Emmy's was not full and rarely ever is. They need to pay attention.

My first time here. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Drinks and service was great. Being from Chicago I'm a bit of a pizza snob. The pizza was decent, I'd eat it again. Tavio the bartender was great. I'll be back.

My friend had been raving about this pizza place for months so I finally decided to try it. There is a small parking lot but the area also offers free street parking. The area can get crowded but I did locate street parking quite a bit away from the restaurant which is one of the reasons I won't be back to this location. Once we arrived we were immediately greeted. Our server was attentive. I ordered the Roni Supreme. The pizza was good and the portion size was decent. If you don't mind the parking situation then I would definitely recommend this place.

This is my favorite pizza in Atlanta and possibly one of my favorite restaurants. Great size restaurant, I can always get a table, and I enjoy the 2 hours free parking. The staff is great and I love seeing Tim behind the bar. Can't recommend this place enough

The service is great, the vibe is immaculate and the pizza is consistently some of the I've had in ATL. Recommendations: Brussel Sprout Salad, an Atlanta Hard Cider and an Angel pizza--or really, any of their pizzas. A perfect place for a nice casual night out.

I love Emmy Squared and this location does a great job! I recently got a burrata and watermelon salad that had a fresh herb dressing that was absolutely delicious. I love their white pizza and add caramelized onions. It is always crispy, salty and gooey.

I love Emmy Squared pizza and hardly ever have anything bad to say. Come for great pizza and stay for the vibes. The cocktails are very good also. Parking can be a hassle at this location but the menu options are endless. The crispy edges and thick pizza go hand in hand.

From the moment you walk into the doors until you leave. This place treats you like gold! Iv never really felt so welcome into a place like this. You really never see mangers work as hard as the one here. I believe his name is Justin. And my bartender Tavio. Kept me laughing and doing multiple things at once. Keep up conversations while mixing drinks left and right. Iv recommended so many people and they now love coming here and most of them live in Smyrna and never heard of this place.
