Came here after going to the nail salon upstairs and had such a wonderful time that I forgot to take a picture of all the food we got.I want to give a shout-out to the wait staff; they were so kind, personable, and had excellent levels of timing on "check ins" (we even told them so). We loved their suggestions - the winter seasonal cocktails were great. This place was a great visit visit and will absolutely come back again!

I was really hoping to like this place more than I did. When me and my friend entered the restaurant, no one was standing at the host stand, and there was no sign anywhere, that we could see, that said to seat yourself. So, we just stood there for a while before my friend walked to a back table to get the attention of an employee wrapping silverware. She then told us that we could seat ourselves wherever we'd like. It was a nice day, so we opted for sitting out on the patio. After ordering and beginning to eat our food, we found a short hair at the bottom of our hush puppies. The waitress said there's a salon upstairs, and sometimes hair floats down to the patio. We did notice more hair later, on the table, so I guess that is where it came from. She replaced the hush puppies for us, and it was removed from our bill, which was a nice surprise. The food we ordered was delicious, outside of the deviled eggs. They were so bland. Simple homemade deviled eggs taste far better than these did. The hush puppies, Brussels sprouts, and whipped sweet potatoes were great.The biggest disappointment here was the drinks. I don't remember the initial drink that my friend had, but she didn't care for it. She ordered a lemon drop next, and said that it was just OK. She allowed me to taste it, and I agree. It tasted watered down. I had a blackberry margarita. It tasted sour. More like spoiled. It was not good at all, but I forced myself to drink about half of it. I then ordered the margarita on their classic drink menu. It was not all that great, and also had a sour taste, although not as strong as the first drink. I would go back to try more food items, but I certainly would choose to drink elsewhere.

12-30-23: brunch timeShrimp and grits is a really good size portion and the price point is on target. Shrimp slightly under cooked, but not to where you couldn't eat them. Could have used a bit of seasoning, just a smidge. I do wish the tails were removed for ease of eating. A little messy if you're using fingers. You get 5 medium sized shrimp which is really nice. Grits are cheesy with butter. More like the texture of polenta than grits, especially for southerners. The eggs are poached. Unfortunately, one of mine was broken when it came out but the yolk was creamy, as expected, and went well with the chorizo and grits.The chorizo is cooked with bell peppers and onions, which was an unexpected chunky surprise. This dish should have had fried okra but I think it was forgotten as there isn't any fried okra in the dish. The only reason I ordered it. Breakfast Stack (hubster ordered)This is his review: It's flavorful and lightly sauced bbq pulled pork with a hint of sweetness. Well seasoned. Would been nice to have a salsa to have along with it. Two layers of tostadas with the pork and light layer of hash brown, repeat once more and cheese.Came with two perfectly, unbroken poached eggs. The service was below okay. Our server didn't bother us and didn't check on us. We had to ask other folks walking by for more waters and coffee as we were completely out for quite a while. Our server didn't make eye contact when he came near or after taking care of other tables.

This restaurant is so cute but extremely busy. We came on a Sunday around 12:45pm and it was packed. We were lucky to get a table but we sat there waiting for a bit before someone came over to ask us if we wanted something to drink. Then, we waited some more before I got the same person to ask if we could order food. Everyone working there was really scrambling to keep up. I felt bad for them as they seemed kind of overwhelmed. You have to be patient and can't be in a rush to get your food.The food itself was good but not great. We had ordered the salmon without Parmesan cheese but it came with it and the salmon was overcooked but my husband didn't want to send it back since they were so busy. I had ordered the biscuit benedict that had pulled pork on top but the biscuit and pork were a bit dry.

After being stood up on my reservation from Bosscat, we looked around and found Eloise. I quickly Yelped and liked the ratings. Let me tell you. It was fantastic. And the price for the quality and quantity of food was amazing. We enjoyed several appetizers. The crab salad stood out. They ran out of the fish on the menu and subbed mine for rainbow trout. It was so good and the sides were delicious. We were so full and then came desserts. The key lime pie was top 10 in my book and the warm chocolate cake was moist, not overly sweet and moist. The daily special was $25 for an appetizer, entree and dessert. Can you believe that?? Put this on your rotation!! Drinks were a little slow to arrive but otherwise, service was solid.

Sunday brunching!Made reservations ahead of time and got sat right away. Started with a iced vanilla latte (pretty standard) and a iced americano. For food, got the chorizo omelette (the green salsa on top was tasty and lots of veggies, avocado and chorizo inside), the mushroom omelette (good amount of mushroom stuffed inside as well) and the horchata toast (couldn't really taste the horchata or cinnamon in it, but the bread was fluffy and fruits were fresh). Hash browns on the side were crispy and delish! Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor seating as well. Parking - in the plaza or garage (free)

Yum! Service was great from start to finish with a very knowledgeable and sweet server! The place is just so charming- a bit of upscale comfort. I ordered an old fashioned and was disappointed it was so sweet, but that was my only hiccup here! My Mahi mahi was tender and flaky to perfection and paired perfectly with the most delicious whipped sweet potatoes and grilled veggies. The happy hour looked amazing, so I'm thinking I'll come for that next!

I came to Eloise Nichols for an informal work lunch and couldn't be more pleased with this choice. I enjoyed the Not Jennifer Aniston's Salad and oh boy I will come back for more of it! A bit pricey but they have great portions and tasty food, worth it. Service was good but very slow for a Wednesday lunch so that is why I'm giving 4 stars. Beautiful restaurant and big bar.

Came here with my fiancé on a Saturday evening around 7pm. The restaurant was not busy but we still waited almost 20 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. We'd already been looking at the menu for a while, so we settled on a few appetizers (cheddar + poblano hush puppies, and the calamari)Once we finally got our apps, they were delicious! Very generous portions and great flavor. Again, however, it was quite some time before any of the waitstaff came back to check on us. Eventually we were able to order entrees, and again, the food was excellent. I had the pork chop. The whipped sweet potatoes served with the chop are out of this world!!Unfortunately we did not have time for dessert or after-dinner drinks. By the time we'd gotten our entrees we had been there almost 1.5hrs, most of which was spent waiting for the staff to take our order. Bottom line - the food was excellent, the ambiance is awesome, but the service was so poor I don't think we'll be coming back. Waitstaff was very unprofessional - not a single person introduced themselves by name, and at one point, a waitress on the patio area was tossing out drinks into the plants and grass while bussing a nearby table.
