Strawberry oat milk matcha is my favorite - if you're trying to drink less coffee, this is the perfect drink to ease you into matcha. The staff are always extremely friendly and quick. Love the rotating selection of donuts!

Disclaimer: I'm on a hunt for the best cafe to work from as I'm working remote. My review is based on factors for a good place to work from and not necessarily the coffee or food. Overall great cafe for work and coffee. Noise level - 70db busy cafe Wifi speed - 119 down 17 up (good for work you can download but not meetings due to low upload speed)Power plugs - about 16 (scattered against the walls around the cafe)Seats - 30 indoorsParking - unsure. Did not drive. The service was great the barista was friendly. My ice latte came within minutes and it was delicious on a hot afternoon. And if you buy a bag of beans, you can a cup of joe for free!

I didn't feel the "brotherly love" while visiting Elixr coffee cafe. No one greeted to say hello. They were people standing in crowds in front of the register to where I had to ask where does the line begin for me to order. Finally a young lady behind the counter asked to to please wait; which I did because I know cafes can get a tad busy. However while I was waiting, the young lady stopped making coffee to tell her story about her date to another barista. After waiting 5 minutes, she didn't apologize for the wait & took my order. I asked for a caramel latte. Once my order came up, I took one sip notice it was salty. To where she made me a salted caramel latte. The taste from the salt immediately made me spit it out, as I have a severe case of hypertension!!!! I went back to the counter & a young man made me my correct order. Again .. no apology. While picking up the correct latte from the counter, I almost slip from the water on the floor from in front of the trash can. There was NO yellow sign to warn me to be careful of the wet floor. I should have fell & sue but..... that wouldn't be the "brotherly love" thing to do. All & all.. I was excited to try this coffee cafe because it was around the corner from my hotel but NEVER AGAIN!!! Elixr please do better!!! - A California Native

During my recent stay in Philadelphia, I opted for a different part of the city and visited the Elixr Coffee location there. Despite being a long-time patron of the Center City branch, I found this particular spot to be less appealing. The coffee, a consistent delight, maintained its excellent quality, but the overall ambiance left much to be desired. The spacious layout, abundant with natural light streaming through ample windows, offered plenty of seating options. However, the vibe felt cold and unfriendly, in stark contrast to the inviting atmosphere I've come to associate with Elixr Coffee. The lack of warmth extended to the barista who took my order and crafted my drink - not a single greeting or smile was exchanged, creating a somewhat off-putting experience. While the food and drink menu was somewhat limited, it still managed to meet reasonable standards. The coffee, matching the high quality of their Center City location, retained its exceptional taste. However, the downside was the extended wait time imposed by the seemingly unhurried baristas. On a positive note, the place was enveloped in the delightful aroma of freshly ground coffee, a constant reminder of the beverage's inherent charm. While the Elixr Coffee spot in this part of Philly maintained its commitment to excellent coffee, the overall experience was dampened by a lackluster vibe and less-than-friendly service. For those who prioritize a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Center City location may still hold the upper hand.

Overall, it was a decent experience at Elixr. The cafe is clean and comfortable. Our drinks were mostly very good. The matcha was tasty. I had a very underwhelming almond milk latte. It was very watery and, unfortunately, unremarkable. The highlights were the butterfly lemonade and black salt caramel latte. Those two were very good. I recommend either of those for your visit. The staff were friendly enough and welcoming. Good spot!

I've gotten the Strawberry Matcha from Elixir multiple times and it is absolutely delicious every time! The staff is also very friendly and helpful. My friends and I have been several times to get work done or read and it is a perfect coffee-shop, calm environment to get stuff done in! Highly recommend & I will definitely be back!

Elixr serves consistently good coffee! I tried their specialty lattes: Strawberry OatMilk Latte & Caramel Black Salt Latte. I preferred the Strawberry OatMilk Latte more. It was subtly sweet and tasted like strawberry milk. The black pepper in the Caramel Latte threw me off, however my husband preferred it. The space is large enough for studying or catching up with friends!

This place is amazing! There are so many different types of coffee and sweet options at this cafe. They call your name to pick up your items. The service was pretty fast. They also have a ton of different whole coffee beans that they sell. I really like how big this space is. You can easily work out of this space without feeling like you are invading someone else's personal space which is what I feel like in some of these other coffee shops in Philadelphia. I got a latte from there. They put a really nice design and it was pretty delicious.

Pretty standard coffee shop that I found on my recent trip to Philly. It was within walking distance from my hotel. I got there around 10am and the pastry selection was already slim, so I'm not sure if that's a normal thing. I ordered an almond croissant and cold brew. Coffee was good, and croissant was just okay. Spacious coffee shop and there were several people reading and getting work done. Worth visiting again.
