We absolutely loved our meal at El Zarape. We were at the new 2nd location which was formally (Café Chihuahua).El Zarape's food was delicious. The service provided by Julissa was joyful and delightful. The food was wonderful and plated well. A little pricey but, well worth it! and we will be visiting them again for their yummy food

This review will be short as we can't describe or put our finger in what's different. But this am our meal was just a bit below average. Taste was bland the portions slim. What happened?

Stopped here on a whim- so glad we did, food excellent and so was service. Cute place.

Order bistec a la mexicana and the food looked like they blended the bistec told the waiter about it but didn't do anything about it no good service no good not going to this place ever again

Had very sharp piece of bone in my carnitas. The "chef" assuming it was the owner came out and said "well...... we cook those with the ribs and there's bound to be bone " !!!I told him I could have eaten that and sued you! He said "well, I can't do anything" I told him you could cook the ribs seperate! Will never eat there don't reccomend! Won't make it at the S. Federal location. Menudo was NOT good.

BEWARE WHAT YOU PUT IN YOUR MOUTH HERE!!!!THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL, THEY SCREWED UP MY FOOD This place has me disgusted and embarrassed in so many ways , my family just came down to visit from a different state and we heard they had the best Barbacoa in town, so we had to see for ourselves, we ordered 2 lbs of Barbacoa for the whole family, they serve a whole plate of barbacoa with 2 things of tortillas, once those tortillas caught air they got so hard as if they where tortillas from the day before, THIS IS WHERE EVERYTHING SCREWED UP not only did my sister in law have her first taco but she was on her second taco until she heard something hit the fork, she looked down and we couldn't believe our eyes. It was a screw in the food, as that is happen I'm chewing a piece of taco I took a bite out of and I felt something sharp poke my cheeks well guess what? I bit into a small sharp piece of scrap Metal, we ask the waitress we wish to speak with the cook to understand how could something like this happen, well the cook didn't want to come out, but they tell us someone is coming to talk to us, we were so disgusted and bothered we just left, In disbelief.my sister-in-law could've cracked or chipped her tooth with that big O screw and I feel so blessed I didn't swallow a little piece of scrap metal where It could have cause internal bleeding from my intestines being punctured. WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Strongly don't recommend
