El Vaquero Mexican Diner

I dropped in for dinner and was immediately seated. I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon with chicken and beef. The tacos were delicious.

The experience here was definitely good. They have such a big variety in options to pick from and it's not that bad in pricing. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be returning for sure.

At a Mexican restaurant I am looking for a few things. First, is they have to have salsa verde, and it has to be good (Ninfa's style). Second, good service. Third, a variety of menu options, and fourth, when leaving there must be mints and toothpicks. There was no salsa verde. I had the carne asada. It was good, but I have had better. The wait staff was great, but on leaving there were toothpicks but no mints. To me that was two strikes. That is the reason for the rating.

This was our first meal at this restaurant!!! It was absolutely fantastic!!! The food was great but the service was as even better!!! Prices were good in comparison to others in the area and the atmosphere was excellent!!! We will be returning soon!!

Delicious authentic Mexican fare. The menudo is delicious, but my favorite for a light meal are the tostadas

Good margaritas and Tex-mex. Service is usually pretty good and portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Good spot to grab a bite and a drink.

This place has closed permanently. I'm not sure why but it will be missed. I believe their Greatwood location is still there. So it's back to Ruthies for us

Closed! Liked the happy hour. Margaritas were very good. Food was good. chips and salsa could have been better. Was a nice corner bar 5 minutes from the ranch.
