El Turco Turkish Food

Very good service and food.I had the hummus, eggplant appetizer,Beef dish, tried the lamb and manti, as well as baklava, kunefe and kazandibi.I throughly enjoyed every dish. Highly recommend for authentic Turkish food.

The ambiance is wonderful- first time visiting upper buena vista. I grew up with amazing Turkish food, so the food was amazing. Delicious, flavorful and fresh. Only issue is that the service could have been better. Maybe it was a late Saturday eve, hot outside, but from the lack of proper greeting, to not asking in between if we needed anything, you could tell they wanted to end their day. Actually we wanted to order more food but since no one came back to ask in between we just let it be. Still food was just wonderful/ I wanted to try the borek and sojek later but couldn't as we waited a long time. The manti was amazing.

While it can get a bit hot sitting outside, the food is well worth it. The service can be hit or miss, but it's never a dealbreaker for me. I highly recommend ordering the chicken over rice and the vegan bowl - they are both delicious!

Frankly, it was just OK. I've had better Turkish breakfast. The location is cute and quaint, with little shops all around. The food is fair, but pricey. The service is impeccable.I had birds kicking dirt on me because I was sitting under the palm roof patio. That was weird.

My friends and I met up for dinner here and the food was all delicious. We ordered a ton of apps and dishes to share and everything was amazing. The lamb was beef was SO tender, the eggplants was so tasty, the cheese puff pastry hit the spot and the dumplings were absolutely amazing. Do not skip out on the desserts because they are to die for. The area the restaurant is in a super cute plaza with other shops around. Even better our waiter Mehmet was so attentive and kind!

First time here and for me, first time trying Turkish cuisine. What an amazing experience! The place is beautiful, the food is fresh and delicious, and the service was outstanding! Since I didn't know what to order, our amazing server Burak made some recommendations to try a a bit of everything. We had a Vegetarian bowl and a Vegan bowl. Great starters that included hummus, kopoglu, cacik, sarma, and kisir. We also got braised kavurma, Izmir köfte, doner platter, manti, and karniyarik. For dessert we tried baklavas, marash ice cream, and a kunefe. We loved everything! And it would be hard to pick a favorite. We are definitely coming back and hope that Burak would attend to us again! If you never been, I highly, highly recommend you try it. I suggest making reservations and valet because there is only very limited street parking. Also there is no inside dining, so consider the South Florida weather temperature and humidity.

I used to work in Upper Buena Vista. Once El Turco opened, it was the only place I'd eat at! The owners are so kind and the staff is always wearing a smile. The food is authentic and worth trying! Highly suggest this little gem. Go check 'em out!

Great tasting Turkish food. Had the calamari which is grilled and on a bed of cauliflower mash. It was excellent! We also had a vegetarian bowl that had an array of dips and stuffed grape leaves. It was so good! Loved it! The meatball dish in a yogurt sauce was delicious as wellTop notch, happy servers and a beautiful setting. Absolutely will be back This restaurant makes me happy to live in Miami

I absolutely love this place. The decor with all the evil eyes around is truly what caught my eye and gave me the urge to try it out. I was not disappointed the service was great, our waiter took the time to explain item menus and made not of my plant based diet and made suggestions on what I could consume. I took all of his suggestions and glad I did. Everything was delicious. The beet hummus was my favorite, not only is it beautiful but super flavorful as well. The veggie pie was delicious, I had never had anything like it before and was pleasantly surprised. I will definitely be returning.

If you are looking for a good Turkish food that isn't overly price this might be a good place for you. Their grape leaves and manti is a must! Definitely going back.
