El Torbellino

Found this little gem nestled in the parking lot of the sports complex. I decided to give it a try.I ordered a torta for my first time here. They did not disappoint. The torta was hot, very flavorful, and delicious. They had the perfect ratio of meat versus toppings. It took a a few minutes for them to make the food, but that's the price you pay for fresh. If you live in the area, there is no reason to drive into town for good food when you can get it here.If you are not sure what to order, ask Junior. He was very helpful with providing suggestions. There are still quite a few things that I want to try on the menu. I will definitely be back.

You will never be disappointed with their authentic tacos. Located at various locations within The Woodforest Community. Ask for the curtido with jalapeños on the side. They have red and green salsa and a variety other items on the menu. Tortas, flautas, hamburgers, tostadas along with Aguas Frescas.

This is the place for a meal especially where I live. This food truck blows away the brick and mortar Mexican restaurants. Their ribs in tomatillo sauce with the rice and beans and tortillas is legit !!! Gained my Business!!

Why 5 stars? Because I am so excited to have this in my neighborhood. --- --- ---I walk my dog through my neighborhood every day and I've lost track at how many times I've seen this truck drive past me. It seems to always be heading toward the back of the neighborhood where a bunch of the new construction is happening. I never knew where exactly it was set up, but I assumed it was back by where there's a big crowd of construction workers who don't have to go far for lunch. So I just headed back in that direction and drove around looking. I felt like I pretty much covered every single street and I eventually gave up. But once I got home, I looked it up and found a website that said the truck stays at Stampede Sports Park. I wasn't sure if it was accurate, but I figured I might as well give it a shot. Sure enough, there it was! It turns out they were here from 1130a-3p Mon-Sat. I have no idea where they are headed when I see them going to the back of the neighborhood every morning, but I'm happy to have found their regular spot.As for the food, it was worth the crazy hunt. I heavily debated on what to order, but ultimately went for the torta at the recommendation of Dave F. Dave did not lead me astray. I loved every bite of it. I also added rice and beans, which were also as great as I could have hoped for. And a fresh mango juice was the best thing ever to wash it all down with.Technically, this is the closest physical restaurant to my house now and I am definitely going to go back and work my way through the entire menu!

Best taco truck around! Pastor tacos are the best. The guy who own it is really nice too!

The best tacos ever! Very fresh and made to order. The red and green sauce have some kick, but both a fabulous addition to the tacos.

Yum!! It's not just ANY taco truck, it's an awesome taco truck! We take our kids there for lunch at least once a week. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Amazing salsa!! My favorite thing so far is their Torta. It's so good!!
