El Taco Man

Excellent Tacos. Super Quick. I love this truck. It's been here in the Double Dollar store parking lot for at least six years. My go to order is either the Barbacoa tacos or Fajita tacos with a Mexican Coke. can't go wrong there. Highly recommended. Give it a shot.

Great spot with good prices and even better food. Definitely my favorite truck to hit up in this area. Service is always quick and friendly. Trying to work my way through the menu, but have never been disappointed with the tacos al pastor.

The little older lady that cooks here is the sweetest. I enjoy the Gordita and elote. Salsa has a great taste so makes me enjoy the food even more....pricing is great for a taco truck! I could eat here 2/3x a week!!

This truck is walking distance from my place so I finally decided to give it a go. They have weird hours so don't expect to find it open at 10pm or later. I had lengua and pastor tacos, both really good. I also had a fajita quesadilla that was a bit on the greasy side but the fajita was very flavorful. They came with both green and red (orangish) salsa that were both spicy but also very good. They charged me I think a quarter more per taco for the lengua tacos. She said the meat was just a bit more expensive. I didn't mind, it was still only $5.50 for 4 tacos. All in all, I'll be going back. Apparently based off other reviews I need to go try their gorditas!

Best taco truck in Houston!! We come here once a week and they never disappoint. The lady making the tacos is very sweet and always does a wonderful job. The salsa is amazing too! If you haven't been here come get the chicken tacos, you won't regret it!! We are regulars!

I was waiting for my girlfriend to pick up some things at the dollar store and I had some change so I bought one pastor taco with fifteen dimes. Wow. It was so juicy and delicious. I will have to come back here and get more tacos.

My daughter had the triple taco plate and said it was great. I had the Gordita and a small quesadilla. Both were filled with beef fajitas. Super yum!!! Great prices!

Best taco truck that I've found on the Northside. Their pastor is so savory with just a hint of sweetness. Perfect. I recommend tacos, tortas or a burrito. Their pollo tacos are killer as well. Make sure to get both salsas - they both have deep flavor with perfect heat.

Giving this a 9/10, so a solid overall choice. I got a chicken torta and was happy with what I got. The woman working was friendly and my food was made fairly quickly. The price with tax was $4.50, so not a bad deal. I figure had I gotten a couple tacos, it probably would have been around the same price. All things considered, this was a good choice and the torta was tasty, albeit though not the best I ever had. But still good for the price.
