El Taco Initiative

Delicious taste of home!! We tried both breakfast and dinner, we were not disappointed. The barbacoa taco was so spot on. Flavor was delicious. Tortilla was toasted perfectly. Highly recommended. For dinner we tried the fajipapa and flautas. Both had great flavor. Flautas were nice and crunchy. We will definitely be visiting again!

Found this food truck because it was parked at our neighborhood bar. It was AMAZING. The street tacos we so good, and definitely try the pachucos! Prices were also really reasonable. Will definitely be back to eat again!

So, the food truck itselfIs not all pizzazed out, but boy I tell ya as far as authenticity goes, this is the real deal Holyfield, the Matamoros tacos brings back memories of the tacos we had in Matamoros visiting fam. As a kid, they're up there with the taconazos and taconatos, even hang with the ultimo taco!!

Really good tacos. Remind me of the tacos from the valley. I also really like the fajipapa. I can't find a fajipapa anywhere else in Houston! Definitely recommend it!

Went for the 5th time last night while they were posted up at Nettbar. Last night I had flautas and they were some of the best I've ever had. They were crispy and very flavorful, the toppings also worked really well. So far I've had the tacos, fajipapa, sincro, flautas, and the espadas. My favorites are probably the espadas and the street tacos but each dish has tasted amazing and fresh. The meat is juicy and cooked to perfection. My girlfriend and I have made it an objective to try and go through the whole menu by the end of the year. Easily my best find during the pandemic.

Food is good. I actually enjoyed the food but it took almost an hour to get 2 sincros. I ordered another one and it took the same amount of time.After speaking to the owner I understand their reasoning and I get why they took so long. It's a learning process but in time they wooo adjust to time constraints and demand

Yo this truck is amazing. Their sauces are phenomenal. If you want a real treat ask for the peanut chile sauce. Real pepper heads only.

Amazing food and amazing service 10/10. They usually park at breweries like Astral so you can get a drink with your meal. What else do you need?
