Just came back from PR and so far this is the closest to the panaderia but it's more like deli than a coffee shop/bakery. I really like their bfast sandwiches. Just wished they use sobao bread! Very nice staff and manager

Misheard my order that I repeated twice through the thick plexiglass, smiled condescendingly and blamed the mistake on me. "No mayo" is not a thing that I will ever forget to say. Sometimes I say it to myself just walking down the street. Twice the wait for hungry kids. If it were a great cubano I wouldn't have been as disgruntled. But it was not a great cubano, nor a great pernil. The jugos pina was good.

I got the steak sandwich with cheese. I'm not exactly sure what else was on my cheesesteak. Between masks, plexiglass, and accents I had no idea what the young woman was asking me so I was nodding my head 'yes' to everything. I really liked the roll. I don't know if you call it a Cuban roll but it's the fat version of a hoagie roll. It was nicely toasted. The meat was okay. I would have liked more meat. The sauces were very tasty without being overly hot. The sauce really made the sandwich. The lettuce and tomato were nice and fresh.

A pretty laid back/local joint. You can feel a bit out of place the first time here since everyone seems to know each other and the menu inside out. None of this really matters however since the amazing aroma of the food will overtake all your senses. The menu has pictures as well as English descriptions so it's great for Spanish-illiterates like myself. I opted for the Cuban sandwich since I've never had an authentic one and it's the one people seem to be getting here. I also had a mango juice but the mango was a bit too sweet. The food does take awhile to come out. My Cubano was huge! My cashier asked I I wanted everything on it and I didn't know any better so I said "yes". I wish I had opted for no lettuce as it made the sandwich very American and soggy. Aside from that though, the sandwich was delicious, the three meat had different textures yet combined in a surprisingly harmonious flavor profile. The pork does taste porky though, not by much but you can tell you were eating pork. Overall, it was a cheap and delicious joint, I will be back to try their other items.

Stopped here for lunch on a Sunday haven't been here in over year but only because I live the suburbs. This place is so damn good. I love pork so I had the Pernil sandwich with everything. I ordered French fries made to order also nice hot an fresh. They had my favorite cake Tres Leche so I was a happy girl. So don't sleep on this place it is so good. You can eat in or take out either way you won't be disappointed.

I have been looking for a place that makes decent Cuban sandwiches, in my proximity. I have gone to so many restaurants and cafes in the area and none of them have come close to an authentic Cubano. My husband said there is a little spot called El Punto in north Philly and they have all types of Latin American sandwiches. So I decided we should go because I really had a craving for a cubano. We arrived it was in the middle of the "rough around edges" part of Philly but Im ok with that..I will go anywhere as long as there will be good food. OH MAN... I am so glad I did go.. It is nothing fancy...so be prepared if you ever decide to go. The menu is has a lot of variety of sandwiches and freshly squeezed juices. So I ordered a Cuban and boy I was not disappointed!! There pernil was fresh and so flavorful. And they were generous with the meats in the sandwich.I have found my new spot to eat fresh hot sandwiches, especially the Cuban!

Got 3 different types of sandwiche, the meat was dry no flavor, I asked for cheese and mayo barely had any cheese or mayo the meat tasted like dirty burnt grill. the drinks were not good either. spent 85 dollars deff not worth it at all. I love se to get their sandwiches back in the day but they are not what they use to be. so disappointed not worth the money or time.
