El Potosino Taqueria & Grill

New place in a town of three Mexican restaurants already.I enjoy trying new restaurants. This one is different, authentic foods, and beautifully plated. Even the chips and salsa arrive on a platter.Service was prompt, friendly. The server, Jaleen, answered questions well.Fountain Coke products, bottled Mexican sodas, sweet and half and half tea. Unfortunately, there was no unsweetened tea, but water with lemon was good. Coffee, horchata, and Jarrito products are also offered.Today, I enjoyed Enchiladas Posotinas. Menu said five, plate came with four, plus lacking the avocado and the pork skins. I enjoyed it anyway. Salsa was well seasoned, mild with a hint of a kick and just the right thickness. Colorful decor, traditional music to add to the experience. Support local! Let's help this one succeed.

Really great find that I hope stays around. For $15 I got three tacos al pastor with a plate full of grilled nopales and fresh toppings plus a plate of sides and chips and salsa! The tortillas are made by hand and you can tell. The waitress was very sweet and the ambience is well designed and clean. I will make this a regular stop in the future and will tell friends about it.

We went there with no expectations and left very pleasantly surprised. I am very strict with tortillas, and I found them top notch, very authentic! I had chicken tacos and al pastor, very good!
