El Pichon Taqueria

A little further away then our go to El Pichon location on FM 1488 but well worth the drive on a Sunday afternoon. Regular truck was closed when we went by so we headed down FM 2978 to find this location. Mama was craving street tacos and I'm very glad she was. The tacos were fantastic as per usual but the best thing we ordered was the Gordita. To me it taste like a tamale in sandwich form. Sofa King good. Both the green and red salsa delivered and the grilled onion and jalapeño put everything over the top. The elote en vaso was fantastic too and you really can't beat the pricing. $1.25 tacos, $3 elote, and Gorditas at $3.50. Yes please. I don't know if the other El Pichon has the elote and or the Tostada because we always just got a sack of tacos on prior visits. Next time I will be sure to ask. We will absolutely be back.

This place always comes through with the flavor! Tacos suaderos is not the same as fajita and this is the best place I have had them. I look forward to driving all the way to Magnolia because I know this place will be a pit stop! Suadero is so flavorful even without any salsa. The salsas are spicy enough, the corn tortilla is nice and soft. They are not lacking in any way!! So many varieties of meat, but I can only speak on the suadero, chicken, and chicharrón - all very delicious!

Corn hit the spot !!! Fresh tacos good vibe ! Small food truck but always got the best tasting. I respect small businesses, the hustle don't stop !!!

Brought the family there for lunch last Saturday. Walk up to the window and order, go grab your drinks from the cooler and have a seat at one of the four tables while they make your tacos. They'll call out your order when ready, then pay when your finished. We ordered 10 tacos, all barbacoa or pastor on homemade tortillas with onions, cilantro and green and red sauce. Even though it was busy, the food came out quick and tasted fresh. Really enjoyed lunch outside in the cool weather eating tacos and drinking Topo Chicos.10 tacos and 3 bottle drinks for $24, cash only. What a deal! They even provided a rooster for entertainment under the trailer at no extra charge.

Came back for some more lengua, i only wanted the meat, so i bought $5 worth, and 2 tamales. They only gave me 2 little cups of sauce, tiny ones for all that food. And the cup for $5 worth of lengua is even less than if i bought 4 tacos (for the same amount of money), so I felt cheated. I probably won't be back.

By far the BEST taco truck around! They are open late and the food is phenomenal!!! Everything is so so good and they even have ice cream for dessert! This is my go to for tacos. They're slightly smaller so i usually start with 6 but the flavor is so good and the ingredients are all fresh. I've been coming here for at least 10 years and i try to spread the word as much as possible bc i never want them to go away!

Great taco truck just had their tacos been there like 4 times it's really good and they are open late very laid back but really good food my favorite is the barbacoa And their green sauce they have a sitting area

Originally from the SouthEast side of Houston where taco trucks are everywhere. When I moved to this area I was having a hard time finding great street tacos and salsa like back home. Like hot green salsa! El Pichon definitely feels and taste like back home. Must try!

We have never been disappointed eating here. The only problem that we have is trying to figure out what we're going to eat cuz it's all delicious!

Good food if you don't want Tex-Mex, repeats order if they didn't get it right and if it's a big order it will take shorter than a restaurant so I will recommend this place
